We all know the drill, You've woken up in a cold sweaty panic as the horror pings your brain. Same time every week (or two or three, damn council funding) That same question, are the bins out?
In 'As You Were' we see the responsibility fall to Buffy. However during the summer between series 5 and 6 who takes out the bins in the garbage slayer's absence?
Willow - Becoming the leader of the scoobies, surrogate Mother to Dawn, Taking care of Tara. Did the Bins fall into her responsibility?
Tara - Always interpreted as the domestic one, recovering from a brain suck and still having a broken hand maybe the bins were one way she felt like she could contribute.
Dawn - In her grief and identity crisis maybe the foul stench of week old take out boxes was her weekly solace. Or her surrogate parents tried to exercise their new role by giving the teen some chores.
Xander - He goes by many names. Maybe the binman is one of them.
Kitty Fantasico - That really would be Fantasico.
Anya - No chance, the cat is more likely.
Maybe they all contribute and its a family effort.
So In the new family unit of the Maclay-Rosenburg-Summers household (Or MRS house as I call it) and anyone else who walks through the door because they never lock them. Who takes out the bins?
I want to say Tara as I imagine she would be doing as much as she can to make up for being in her eyes a burden for the whole Glory endgame but for the pure fact that Dawn knew the bin day, I'm saying Dawn. I don't do the bins and I don't know when or what bin is being collected so a teen who nonchalantly knows the bin day screams forced chores to me.
