Magnificent.
100 years of Disney. Hundreds of intellectual properties. Tens of thousands of characters. In all that there are surprisingly only 13 Disney princesses.

The criteria for being classed as Disney Princess is very wishy-washy.
For example while Anna and Elsa are both royal by blood, as they become queens, they are not classed as princesses.
In sequel films some princesses become Queens however sequels do not count.
In the case of Mulan, the criteria can bypass the royal lines and princess status given for exceptional heroism.
Unlike what the characters try to fight against, looks are a factor. Disney princesses have to be human or look human like. Something DreamWorks rightfully proved wrong(although Ogres are like onions but they do look human like.) but Disney is gonna Disney.
However at the core of each Disney Princess is a love story, kindness and overcoming challenges.

We have kindness - Tara
We have many overcome challenges – Tuesdays are hard.
We have exceptional Heroism – Heroism and stupidity is a fine line.
Which brings us to this week’s poll –
“Are Willow and Tara Disney princesses?”
Yes – Challenges a plenty. From Hellmouth antics to overcoming addiction, magic for Willow and doors for Tara.
No – Bloodline is lacking in blue and neither have squirted blood from their eyes that we know of.
No – I assume only Buffy would have a chance to be one and Willow and Tara would count as Disney ladies in waiting potentially. Is that a thing? Could be a thing. Plus Disney royalty that are classed as witches rarely end well. Wait now . . .
