Don't need to hold the Olympic torch when you are the Olympic torch.

Dateline, Murder She Wrote, curtain twitchers podcasts, we are never far from scratching that itch for murder.

Some people crave the logic of a cold killers mind, or the mystery of who the victim was and all the events that led them to their demise. And some want an animated jaunt with singing animals and love. Yup Disney does death.

In Beauty and the Beast Gaston unleashes his fury on the Beast without restraint. In Lady and the Tramp the rat plots to murder a baby and gets murdered in return. Mulan is a literal war. The Wicked Step Mother bypasses razorblades and douses her step daughter’s fruit in poison. Bambi’s Mum hasn’t got life going on much like most Disney Mums.

Before Disney owned the Buffy IP, Buffy and Tara came down with a case of Disney Mum.

Disney isn't without its death and in BtVS this features by way of kill or be killed.

We know Tara did her first axing in Willow defence. Not all murder is black and white, just the definition. Although the Buffyverse certainly sees demon killings as a different thing to huma killings.

Which brings us to this week’s poll –
“Would Tara kill a human?”

Yes – If roles were reversed maybe she’d turn human peeler?
No – Demons aren’t the same as a human. She has a line that isn’t a witty quip.
Manslaughter – Accidents happen more often than intents.

Manslaughter, I don't think she's capable to possess the intensity of intent required to purposefully kill a human and An Inspector Calls teaches us all that no matter what we do, big or small we are responsible for everyone else's choices. not quite but its a take. She is involved in dangerous lifestyle she might end up in a situation not of her intent but of her own consequence.

I didn't put the option of in a car but somehow dangerous driving is totally different to murder or manslaughter because its just poor driving. If Tara's a bad driver, who knows?

Going with the definition of - "Where an unlawful killing is done without an intention to kill or to cause grievous bodily harm" for manslaughter which I think self defence would cover but I haven't a clue of all the different legal subtleties when it comes to the result of death. Let alone the American legal system in each State.

Looking through seems there's also negligence not to be confused with negligée.

Probably better to use manslaughter option as, Yes but not with intent and other possibilities. AKA Other(please say in the comments).
