Summary: Willow is one of the hottest models in the world. When she comes home for her holiday, she meets a nice family that is new to Sunnydale. Can she find love, and continue her much loved career? This is an AU fic. There will be a little angst between some characters, but nothing big for I want to keep the angst issue light. Thoughts are in < > Flashbacks are in **

~Part 9a~

“What a busy day!” Tara sat down on the couch. It was just after eight, and Buffy had already come by to pick up the puppy. Tori and Dawn went out for a walk, not too far considering it was Sunnydale, Hadley was already sleeping, with the ‘Baby Girl’ doll snuggled close to her chest. And Willow, well Willow was standing against the wall staring at Tara.

Willow watched the blonde intently, Tara stretched, and Willow’s eyes wondered to where they shouldn’t have been. Slowly, she made her way towards Tara, and sat beside her. “Hey…you want a massage?”

“Is it that obvious?” Tara laughed, stifling a yawn. She nodded her head, and lay down on her stomach. She felt Willow straddle her backside, and her fingers caressing her neck, gently prodding it. Tara moaned quietly, smiling as she felt herself begin to relax. “I don’t think I’d want to go to my last class now.” She whispered.

“You can go still…I can make sure everything’s fine.” Willow spoke softly spoke.

“No, that’s ok. I think I am entitled to have this wonderful treatment you’re providing right now.” Tara shivered as she felt slender fingers go up her shirt to massage her lower back.

“Tense?” Willow question, completely oblivious to the effect she was having on Tara. “Your skins so soft.” She quietly said.

“Hence using ‘skin so soft’.” Tara giggled. “Have you ever wondered about the kinds of chemicals and stuff they put into those kind of lotions and stuff?”

“Hmmm…I believe you’ve been struck with science curiousity syndrome.” Willow laughed. “Is that better then being a little…how shall I out this lightly…blonde?” Willow burst into giggles.

Tara frowned, but then retaliated, she flip over so Willow was now straddling her stomach. Then in one swift move, Willow was on her back, and Tara was on top. “Well well well…look who landed on top? I believe it’s rude to mock a person.” Tara said semi-seriously.

Willow was shocked but recovered quickly from being flipped onto her back. Tara was now on top, and she couldn’t really make out what Tara was saying. Her brain didn’t want to work fast enough, her hormones beat it to the punch. The red head began to feel warm all over, it was different, very different, but it was all so familiar. Tara was doing things to her body, and Willow’s body, in return, craved it so much. “Uh…what?” < Finally the brain kicks in! >

“I said…I believe it’s rude to mock a person.” Tara smiled lovingly, she noticed the flush that crawled its way up Willow’s neck to her cheeks. “Are you ok?”

“No.” Willow said softly.

“No?” Tara sat up, but only to have Willow pull her back down.

“No…” Willow whispered before taking Tara’s lips into her own. Tongues quickly found each other as the kiss deepened. Neither girl knew who deepened the kiss, but it didn’t matter, what mattered was that they finally, truly connected.

Tara let her hands wonder, they caressed Willow’s face, neck, shoulder, and arms. Now they were gently exploring the torso. Willow smiled into the kiss as Tara hit a very sensitive ticklish spot. Tara let out the most erotic groan when she felt Willow’s hands explore her lower back, finding their way underneath, so skin could be touched again. Tara’s own hands decided to take action, letting them wonder underneath to caress a taut stomach. She felt the muscle ripple and quiver.

Willow pulled away to kiss the creamy neck, sucking on the pulse point. She heard Tara moan again. The red head placed kisses up her jaw line, and stopped to nibble on a Tara ear, before going back to her sweet velvety haven.

Tara thrust her tongue deeper into Willow’s sweetened mouth, her leg slipped between Willow’s and pushed down. Lust was starting to take over, and Tara has never been this intimate with anyone willingly. She felt so close to Willow, she could feel Willow…she could feel Willow’s hand…it snuck around to cup a soft cotton bra covered breast. “Willow…” She sighed, and pushed a little harder. Feeling Willow respond by lifted her hips up, Tara pulled back.

“What?” Willow asked breathlessly, wondering why they had stopped. She looked into dark sapphire eyes, and tucked a stray strand of blonde hair behind Tara’s ears.

“I’m sorry.” Tara whispered, and broke down into tears.

“What? Tara? Baby, what’s wrong?” Willow was worried that she did something wrong.

“I never meant for…I mean, I can’t…not yet.” Tara looked at Willow, tears streaming slowly down her face.

“Hey…that’s fine Tara. I’m not in no rush either. Slowness is good.” Willow stroked Tara’s back.

“You’re not mad?” Tara asked uncertain.

“Of course not…Goddess, Tara, holding your hand is plenty enough for me. But to have you kiss me…that’s more then I actually dreamed to have happen. Besides…I kind of wanted us to take things slow…I mean, if you want.” Willow smiled at Tara.

“Yes I want.” Tara replied and kissed Willow lightly.

“Good…” Willow breathed a sigh of relief. “So, Tara Maclay…would you go out on a date with me?”

Tara grinned, “Yes Willow…I will.”

“Good…now where were we…” She lifted her head to capture Tara’s lips once more, then pulled back again. “We can…kiss…right?”

“Oh Yes.” Tara let her lips be taken once again by the fiery red head.

~*~*~*~*~*~

“Where are we?” Tori asked as she followed Dawn through a small path and into the woods.

“You’ll see.” Dawn felt for Tori’s hand to make sure she was still there. < I know I shouldn’t be out here…a lot of danger and stuff, not mention the beating I’d get from a certain slayer. But I want to show her this peaceful place. >

“Dawnie…” Tori began to whine.

“Shhh…no more whining…we’re almost there.” Dawn whispered squeezing Tori’s hand for patience.

“Why are you whispering?” Tori asked.

Dawn smiled and shrugged. “Habit I guess…”

“Way too much horror movies for you sweetie.” Tori laughed.

“You should talk…” Dawn started, but then stopped as she looked out beyond the horizon. “See…?”

The moon was brightly shining, and the field in front of them looked endless. “Oh wow…it reminds me of my grandmother’s old farm.” Tori said in awe. “How’d you find this place?”

Dawn smiled. “Six months ago…Willow was only home for a couple of days before heading to Australia. Out of no where, she asked me to go out for a walk with her.”

** Flashback

“Dawnie…you wanna go for a walk?” Willow asked throwing on her coat, leaving Jessica with Buffy.

“Sure…where too?”

“This place I thought I’d show you.” Willow offered her arm to Dawn. She gave a smile to Jessica and Buffy before leaving.

Walking through the woods Dawn noticed the shift in Willow’s mood. “Will…are you…alright?”

“Yeah, just thinking.” Willow smiled at the teenager. She found complete comfort in Dawn, and for the longest time, she respected Dawn as an adult. She needed someone young to guide her through.

“About?” Dawn asked.

“Jess…” Willow said. “We kind of…broke up.”

“What?…why?” Dawn asked concerned.

“Because, it just…it wasn’t working. Last night, it was confirmed that she would be heading back to Canada, and I was going to live in L.A.” Willow softly spoke. “The thing is…I’m not upset about it. I should be…I mean one and a half years is a long time.”

“Will…it’s ok to feel like that.” Dawn comforted her.

“Yeah, I know. So anyways, I just thought I’d bring one of my favourite sister’s to this spot I found.” Willow pulled Dawn closer with her arm.

“Really? Why?” Dawn questioned again.

“Don’t know…I just have a feeling soon, you’re gonna bring someone special to this place, and it’ll mean something to them.” Willow simply said.

“How do you know?” Dawn asked.

“Because I can feel it. I don’t why…or how. But, there’s energy, and it focuses on you and…well me.” Willow realized that in a weird way, she wasn’t alone. “Maybe that’s why I am not upset about Jessica and I…I can another person’s flow…”

“Your magicks are getting stronger huh?” Dawn grinned.

“Yeah, I read a little here and there behind the scenes at the photo shoots. And I practice whenever I get the chance.” Willow sat down on a smooth rock, patting it so Dawn could sit too. For the first time she and Dawn looked out into the horizon. “Beautiful isn’t it?”

“Yeah, it is. Will?” Dawn looked at her friend. “When you say someone special…”

** End Flashback

“Ok, either you’re breaking up with me,” Tori laughed, “or you’re telling me something.”

“Willow took me here, and we sat and talked for hours. We really connected after that. I thought that I could maybe…show you the beauty this town can hold.” Dawn looked into hazel eyes.

“All the beauty in this town lives down Revello Drive.” Tori whispered place her hand on Dawn’s cheek.

“Buffy? I knew it.” Dawn laughed nervously. She was slightly taller then Tori, but not by much. She shifted from foot to foot, trying to block out the sound of her beating heart. “Tori?”

“Yeah?” Tori let go of Dawns cheek, and turned to look back out at the horizon.

“M…maybe we should get back. Wouldn’t want Tara and Willow worrying about us.”

“Sure…are up for some hot cocoa and popcorn?” Tori asked excitedly.

“Aren’t I always?” Dawn quipped, and laced her fingers into Tori’s as they headed back.

“And Dawn…you’re right…it’s beautiful. I loved every moment of it…and I’m really happy you showed it to me.” Tori smiled and bumped her shoulder into Dawn’s playfully.

~*~*~*~*~*~

“Mama?” Hadley came out of her room to find her mother’s bed empty. Her tiny feet padded down the hallway, down the stairs, and into the living room, where she found Tara and Willow all cuddly, and…kissing. “Mama?” Hadley giggled as she bounced over to the couch, a full force smile plastered on her face. “Maaaamaaa!” She sang in Tara’s ear.

“Wha…Hadley?” Tara finally focused on her daughter’s presence.

“Yes?” Hadley looked back at her, with another full force smile.

“What are you doing out of bed?” Tara asked blushing, she got up off of Willow and sat up, with Willow’s legs pulled over her lap.

“Well,” Hadley began as she placed herself on Willow’s stomach. “I had a dream.” She looked back and forth between the tow women.

“What did you dream sweetie?” Tara asked reaching out to hold her daughter’s hand in her own.

“I was being chased by this monkey,” Hadley looked at Willow when she felt the vibrations of laughter coming from below her. “And when I got towards the end of a hall, a giant banana came out a scared me. But it was ok, because it looked at me and said ‘The monkey’s just chasing you because you forgot something.’”

“And what did you forget?” Tara asked trying to stifle a giggle at her daughter’s dream explanation.

“Willow’s present.” Hadley jumped off Willow and ran into the kitchen. Coming back out, she placed the Hadley wrapped gift, onto Willow’s stomach. “This is for a thank you.”

“Hadley, baby girl, doesn’t that defeat the purpose of having a birthday party, and getting the presents?” Willow smiled sweetly.

“That’s what mama said!” Hadley’s eyes widened. “Creepy.”

“Well if mama said it, then it must be true.” Willow sat up and pulled Hadley onto her lap. “My birthday is coming up next, why don’t you save it until then?”

“I can’t. I want to give it to you now. Please?” Hadley had the look of sadness in her eyes.

“Ok.” Willow simply said before putting the gift in Hadley’s hands. “Will you open it for me? It’s still your birthday, and birthday girls unwrap presents.”

Hadley smiled and opened her own wrapped gift. She pulled out a bottle of Vanilla body lotion. “Do you like?”

Willow looked at the half empty bottle and then glanced at Tara. She was the grin on Tara’s face as the older blonde shrugged her shoulders. “I love it. I think I’ll put some on before I go to sleep.” The red head wrapped her arms around Hadley’s tiny waist, and squeezed gently. “Thank you, you’re very sweet.”

“I’ve got a great mama.” Hadley leaned into the embrace and yawned. “Can you two tuck me in please?”

“Sure can.” Tara lifted Hadley into her arms, and held out her hand for Willow.

~*~*~*~*~*~

“So your first week of school didn’t suck after all.” Dawn said as she swung her and Tori’s hands lightly, walking down the Maclay’s block.

“No it didn’t. But that’s because I had you with me.” Tori confirmed.

“Yeah…but not during your classes.” Dawn challenged.

“Not true young one,” Tori smirked at Dawn. “You occupied my mind.”

“Me? I did?” Dawn smiled, “Sorry…?” She gave the other girl an apologetic look.

“Why sorry? Dawnie, if I didn’t want you in my head, I would’ve kicked you out. Just like I do with Britney Spears.” Tori laughed and stopped as soon as they arrived to the path and looked into Dawns eyes.

“Actually, Britney isn’t that bad.” Dawn said as a matter of factly.

“You met her?” Tori’s eyes went wide.

“Not me…but Willow did.” Dawn felt Tori step closer to her.

“Dawn…can I ask you something?” Tori played with the sleeve on Dawn’s jacket. She saw her silently nod her head. “Have you ever been on a date?”

Dawn smiled. “Yeah.”

“But I thought you said…”

“Remember, our first coffee date?” Dawn asked, “It was my only, and I’m glad it was you.”

“Sooo…would it be okay if I asked you out for a second date? Tomorrow night?”

Dawn grinned. “Are you asking me? Or is that like, a question…question.”

“Depends on what you day.” Tori replied licking her lips.

“I don’t know…you see, there was the one person I liked…oh wait, that’s you. Of course you can ask, and to save you time, my answer is yes.” Dawn playfully ran her hand down Tori’s leather jacket. “Does this mean our hot cocoa and popcorn date tonight’s cancelled?”

“Oh heavens no.” Tori breathed. She felt warm even though a chilly breeze was brewing. Dawn took both of Tori’s hands into her own. “Um, Dawn…”

Dawn just leaned in and placed a soft kiss on Tori’s lips. It was very quick, but it seemed to last forever. “I just thought I’d do the whole date thing backwards…you know, walk you to your door, and kiss you goodnight. Except I’m walking to your door, already kissed you, and our hot cocoa and popcorn date hasn’t even begun.”

“Whatever works.” Tori replied blushing.

Dawn hadn’t seen her blush since the first few days they met. They’ve flirted, obvious to everyone, except the school, and Buffy, because Dawn’s been with Tori a lot. “Are you blushing?”

“No…me?”

“Yes you were.” Dawn giggled. “Tori Maclay was blus….”

“Dawn…your lips are sweet and soft.” Tori quickly said, see saw the red appear on Dawns face. “Ah ha! You’re blushing.”

“No fair…I thought were being all…serious and lov…” Dawn mentally slapped herself.

“I was…” Tori tucked a few strands of hair behind Dawns ear. “I’m always honest with you sweetie.” < You sound like your sister…guess it runs through the Maclay women’s genes. > “You ready to go have some fun?”

“Aren’t I always?” Dawn planted another kiss on Tori before walking up the path and into the house.

Yay! Smoochies!! :bounce :bounce :grin

I don't think I've ever given you feedback on your fic, but I really like it. As was said before, it initially reminded me of another one, where Willow is also famous (actress, I think) but this is actually so different... In a good way, though...

It's such a shame how little cutie Hadley was conceived but boy, does she bring joy and mischief to this fic! I can totally understand why Willow loves her so much...

This is just a bunch of Willow and Tara goodness with no angst (so far, please let it continue :pray ), all wrapped up in one tiny package... :love

Keep up with this, it's a delight to read!

Snuggles :kiss

Edited cause I didn't go to the end of the thread and effectively missed part 9... so I had to start again...:spin :rolleyes

~Part 9b~

Tara and Willow sat at the kitchen table drinking herbal tea. They just put Hadley to bed, and now they were ready to just relax and talk about the day’s events. “That’s a lot of money for tips.” Willow said in disbelief.

“Yeah well…you know what they saw, if you’ve got it, flaunt in.” Tara laughed, and laughed even harder when she saw the shocked face on Willow. “Kidding…as in ‘haha’?” Tara reached out to hold Willow’s hand. “The guy you gave me that one hundred dollar tip, must’ve have been…”

“Rich?” Willow answered for the blonde.

“That too…but I was gonna say from out of town.” Tara replied. “I mean, not that rich people can not live in a place like this, because they can…a…and they do.” Tara bit her bottom lip, and let out a small apologetic smile.

“I get it Tara.” Willow squeezed Tara’s hand for reassurance.

“Totally a lie!” A voice came from the front door. “I never said that…you’re dreaming Summers.”

“But you just said out there that they were sweet and soft…” Dawn stopped as soon as she noticed the two ladies sitting at the table. “Hey guys. Thought maybe you were in bed…already I mean.”

“Could say the same.” Willow raised an eyebrow. “Did Buffy catch you?”

“No, why?” Dawn asked as she went to take off her coat, but realized that she was still holding hands with Tori.

“Just wondering, when she came by, you two were already gone, I thought maybe she’d catch up to you.” Willow smiled at Dawn when she noticed the hand holding too, and the tiny circles that Tori’s thumb drew over her palm.

“She might not have been able to find us…we kind went…out of the town area.” Dawn hung her head low. She knew she wasn’t suppose to go anywhere in Sunnydale with a well lit area near by, or without the slayer. She was just waiting for Willow to warn her…again.

“Horizon point?” Was all Willow replied as she smirked at the two teenagers.

“Dawn told me you took her there six months ago after you and Jess…Ow!” Tori was elbowed by Dawn, silencing her.

Tara had been quiet during the whole ‘where have you been’ discussion. But then when her sister had mentioned the name, ‘Jess’ she became quite curious. “Who’s Jest?”

Willow sighed and looked at Tara. “Jessica Paris…she was this woman I saw for a while.”

“Well who can resist a sexy model like yourself?” Tara threw a wink at the red head.

“Me.” Tori replied, she looked over at Dawn and smiled.

“And me.” Dawn said right back.

“Plllleaassse!” Tara turned towards her sister, “You’ve collected almost every magazine made with Willow pictures.”

“Hey now! Not fair, it’s not like I was hanging poster’s of…well, of…Damn it Tara…why didn’t you have a crush on any celebrities?” Tori spat out frustrated.

“Because it would’ve never gotten me anywhere. I mean, ok, say I was going gaga over…Angelina Jolie, the chance of me meeting her, and getting to know her would be one in a million.” Tara explained.

“Well…guess what? I met Willow, I guess I am one in a million.” Tori smirked. This discussion turned into a sister showdown.

“Yeah, you met her…but through Hadley and I.” Tara challenged back.

“Who’s been spending the nights over at her place?”

“Hadley?” Tara responded.

Willow watched the bantering go between the two sister’s, and decided it was enough. “Guys!”

All eyes turned to the green eye beauty. “What?”

“As much as I am flattered, I am not some game board you can have your way with and fight over.” Willow said.

“Oh Will…” Tara turned back to the woman that stole her heart. “I’m so sorry…you know, when sister’s get into it…they get into it.”

Willow grinned, “It’s ok. Besides, I believe I can up the ante on your behalf.”

Tara raised an eyebrow, “Oh yeah…how?”

Willow’s eyes sparkled as she rose from her chair, and sauntered slowly towards Tara. Her gaze never left the blondes as she reached her goal, and pulled Tara up into her arms. Slowly, her hands cupped Tara’s face, and leaned in for a soft sensual kiss.

Tori and Dawn were in complete silence as they watched the two women get lost in each other. “O…ok. Um, yeah Tara, you definitely beat me.” Tori meant to say that in a clear voice, but her vocal chords chose not to work at that moment, instead it came out as a whisper.

“You wanna, um…go upstairs?” Dawn asked as she felt the mood shift in the kitchen.

“Yeah!” Tori dragged Dawn out of the kitchen and towards the staircase. “Oh God…I just saw my sister making out.”

“Serves you right for trying to raise the stakes.” Dawn laughed.

“Yea, remind me not to do that again.” Tori smirked as she closed her bedroom door.

“See Tori?” Willow looked around the kitchen and noticed the emptiness. “I think we scared them off.”

“Good, there was nothing for them to see anyways.” Tara seductively said. Her hands were playing with Willow’s belt loops. “You want to go get ready for bed?”

Willow swallowed. Her mind raced through the naughty thoughts in her mind. < Me, Tara, alone, bed…I really want to take this slow, and make it perfect, but I also really want her body against mine. >

“Willow?” Tara waved a hand in front the red heads face.

“Huh what? Oh yeah…sure.” Willow turned to the table and took the tea cups, putting them in the sink. “Shall we?” She held out her arm to Tara, who gratefully took it.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

“Another movie?” Tori asked as she rose from the bed. Her and Dawn returned downstairs, finding it empty and dark. Tori made the hot cocoa while Dawn popped the popcorn in the microwave. Now they just finished watching ‘Boys On The Side’.

“Anything that isn’t so sad?” Dawn asked wiping away her fresh tears.

“Aww poor baby.” Tori shut off the small T.V. and curled up next to Dawn. “How about we just…talk.”

“Ok.” Dawn turned on her side to face Tori. “You have to work tomorrow right?”

“Sadly, yes. But it’s a short shift. One to six, you can come by for my break?” Tori reached out to play with Dawn’s hair.

“I’d love too. What time?”

“Four thirty.” Tori let her hand drop, and began to trace the little rainbow figures on Dawn’s PJ’s.

“Consider me there.” Dawn smirked. “Do you like it here? In Sunnydale I mean?”

“No…I love it here. I don’t know if that has something to do with you…but I love it here. Tara and Hadley are more then happy to be living here. We all feel completely safe.” Tori looked into blue eyes, and saw concern and sadness. “Why? You don’t like it here?”

“No, I love it here too. It’s just that…” Dawn took a deep breath. < I cannot tell her about the Hellmouth, not until I speak with Buffy and the other’s first. >

“What?” The slightly shorter brunette cupped Dawn’s cheek, and let out a small smile.

“When you live here long enough, you’re gonna want to leave. And I’ve felt that way for the longest time…but ever since you arrived, I love it again…even more.” Dawn let out her emotions and feelings.

“You know Dawn…everything is going to be ok here. Sunnydale is a great place, and every town holds a secret and a fear, you can’t escape that. But if you’re with the right person, and surrounded by your family, then you can get through these things together.” Tori inched closer to Dawn, “And I’m not going to go anywhere…not now.”

“How does one get so lucky?” Dawn whispered.

“I can tell you…but I’m sure your mom would like that.” Tori smirked, knowing that she just ruined a ‘moment’.

“Tori!” Dawn playfully swapped her friend. “I meant, how does one get so lucky in finding someone they can share everything too?”

“I don’t know Dawnie…you just do.”

Dawn yawned and turned herself back on her back.

“Tired?”

“Just a bit.” Dawn giggled. “Aren’t you?”

“Yeah, just a bit.” Tori got up pulled down the covers. “You might want to get up so we can be warm.”

Dawn did so, and they both slid into the bed together. “Tori?”

“Hmmm…”

“You are too.” Dawn said as she wrapped her arm around Tori’s slight frame.

“I am what?”

“Sweet and soft.”

“So are you…and I can’t wait to test that again.” Tori giggled. She wrapped her arms around the arm that was holding her against Dawn’s body. “Night Dawn.”

“Night.” Dawn whispered. She planted a small kiss on Tori’s shoulder before drifting off into sweetest dreams.

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

“Cozy?” Tara asked as her and Willow climbed into the same bed.

“More then that.” Willow smiled. ‘So what are your plans for tomorrow?”

“Nothing really.” Tara propped herself up on one elbow and looked at Willow. “What are yours?”

“Cleaning my yard.” Willow groaned. “Haven’t done that in awhile.”

“Yard cleaning…I always enjoyed the gardening part. Tori, mom and I would do gardening together every year.”

“That’s sweet.” Willow smiled, “My mom hates yard cleaning and stuff. She’s always got her nose stuck in a seminar book, or her work book, or in my business where it doesn’t belong.” Willow placed her hand on Tara’s hip, falling into the comfort the other woman provided. “She or my father, are never interested in what I do or say, but when it’s something they don’t think is good enough for me, they stick their noses in.”

“Maybe they just want to look out for you.” Tara suggested.

“If they wanted that, they would ask how I feel about them taking things into their own hands without asking me.” Willow tucked her hair behind her ears. “Like, when I first told them I wanted to become a model. They laughed at me, and told me to get my dreams into reality. Then when they found my letter from Oxford, they opened it and decided that it was best for me to go to Europe for school. I already knew where I wanted to go…UC Sunnydale, but when they found that letter, they threw it away. Lucky for me, I caught on to what they were going to do, and replaced the actually letter with blank paper.” Willow laughed.

“Oxford? You got into Oxford?” Tara said surprisingly. “And you turned that down?”

“Yes I turned that down. Tara, I didn’t want to stray far from home. My family and friends live here. I mean, I travel a lot, and I do have a home in L.A. but I at least know I can come back here whenever I want, and go to school here at the same time.” Willow explained.

“Well…for what it’s worth sweetie…” Tara moved closer, sliding her arms around Willow’s waist. “I’m glad you stuck to your own guns…because then I would’ve never met you.”

“Exactly!” Willow laughed. “Don’t get me wrong Tara, I love my parents, but it’s time they understood that I’m an adult now, and whatever path I choose to go down, I wanted it. And when an obstacle places itself right in front of my path, it’s up to me to beat it. Not them, or anyone else…just me.”

“You’re very beautiful Willow.” Tara said out of nowhere. Willow looked into blue depths and saw the kind heart and soul that belonged to Tara. “You take things as they come, and when you know something wrong happened, you immediately apologize and confess, instead of allowing someone else pick up the dirty work, it takes a very big person to do that.” Tara softly spoke, her voice smooth and caring.

“Who you calling big…again?” Willow teased.

Tara smiled and placed a hand over Willow’s heart. “Not you…but you’re heart and soul. I can feel it, and when I do…I feel…love.”

“Tara, can you be anymore lovable?” Willow asked pulling the blonde closer.

“Hmmm…” Tara kissed Willow passionately, hands pulling bodies closer and trying to get into each other’s hearts physically. After a few minutes or hours, no one’s counting, Tara pulled back, her breath washing over Willow’s swollen lips. “Only…when I’m with you.”

~Part 10~

~*~*~*~*~*~*~

It was Saturday afternoon, and the sun was surprisingly warm for that time of year. Mother Nature gave Willow a good day to do her yard work. That morning was the best morning ever. She woke up in the arms of a beautiful blonde. They stayed in bad for an hour or so, just talking about everything…that is until Hadley came bursting through the door and started jumping on the bed. Willow smiled to herself remembering what happened just a few hours ago.

** Flashback

“Hadley! No jumping on the bed.” Tara softly scolded. “Remember what happened to the monkey’s?”

“The all fell down and broke their heads.” Hadley sang as she continued to jump.

“Right, and that might happen to a certain little monkey who’s jumping on one right now.” Tara raised an eyebrow at her daughter.

“But mama, Willow’s not jumping.” The small child giggled and finally did one last jump and landed in her mother’s lap.

“Uff!” Tara flinched at the small pain that shot through her legs, but quickly recovered. “So…are you done jumping on the bed now?”

“Yes ma’am.” Hadley snuggled closer to her mother and looked at Willow. “How was your sleep?”

“It was the best Hadley, thank you.” Willow smiled and sat up, joining Tara against the headboard. “How was yours? Anymore banana’s and monkey’s?”

“Nope, but I Brady was in my dream. She was trying to eat Cinderella’s glass slipper.” Hadley quietly giggled.

“What will that puppy be up to next?” Willow played along. “When I first got her, she tore my whole hotel room apart in New York. I was out doing some promotional thing, and when I came back…everything from my coat, shoes, to the table cloth and bed sheet’s was chewed and destroyed.”

Hadley and her mother both started to laugh. Tara could just picture the look on the red head’s face when she walked into the hotel room and found her puppy not so innocent. “I’m afraid to ask what the damage fee was.”

“So was I.” Willow laughed as well.

“Brady’s not like that no more…right?” Hadley asked a bit sadly now.

“No baby girl, Brady is well trained.” Willow assured her. “Oh hey, I have some yard work to do later, why don’t you and your mom come over, and maybe her can take for a walk?”

“Can we mama? Please?” Hadley bounced in her mother’s lap, her big blue eyes pleading with her mother’s.

“Yes, as long as you help me clean up your room. You have dolls everywhere.” Tara smiled, resting her chin Hadley’s head, while her gaze focused on Willow.

“I will mama…see, look at me go!” Hadley practically flew off her mother’s lap, onto the floor, and out the door.

“I think you’re in trouble.” Tara eyed up Willow mischievously.

“Me? What did I do?” Willow questioned confusedly.

“Hadley is in love with Brady…now she’s going to beg for a puppy, and I can’t afford that.” Tara said softly.

“I know Tara, that’s why she’s welcomed over to my house anytime to play and walk Hadley. Not by herself of course, but you know. And I’ve been meaning to ask you…if and when I head back to L.A., do you think she could dog sit for me?”

“You she’ll love that…and of course she can. Just means I get to follow to.” Tara kissed Willow softly.

“So, you’ll come over?”

“Yeah, but I’ll let you work, while I take Hadley to the park with Brady.” Tara spoke in a whisper. She heard a small grumble noise and looked down at Willow’s stomach. “Hungry?”

“Just a little.” Willow sheepishly said. “But I could always wait…” Willow pulled Tara back down and kissed her softly.

And wait they did. It wasn’t until they heard giggles coming from Tori’s room, realizing it was Hadley who caused the giggle fest by jumping on Tori’s bed singing ‘Get up Get up!’ that they got up and went downstairs to make breakfast.

**End Flashback

Willow smiled as she pulled out a couple of dead weeds. Tara and Hadley had come by, and were now at the park with Brady. Humming to herself, she never heard footsteps behind her.

“Willow.”

The red head jumped back and looked at the two Summer sisters. “Merciful Zeus! Don’t sneak up on people like that.” Willow frowned. She stood up, wiping off her soiled hands on her old pair of jeans. “What brings you two here?”

“Well…I kinda wanted to get an update on how things between you and Tara were going.” Buffy smiled sitting on the picnic table, and tapped her fingers on her lap.

“Great actually.” Willow grinned. “Buffy…she’s just so…amazing. Amazingly hot, gorgeous, kind, beautiful, sexy…and an amazing kisser.” Willow babbled as if she were talking to herself in a dreamy state.

“That good huh?” Buffy smirked. “I’m happy for you Will…it’s great to see you this happy. I’ve never seen you this happy.”

“I know, and I want to keep it that way.” Willow was beaming, every time she thought about the blonde, which was always, her heart pace would pick up speed, and it was as if she glowed.

“Yeah, I’ve seen those two together…it’s so great to see that kind of love.” Dawn admired the connection they shared. She felt a similar connection with Tori, and she needed to talk to someone about it. Not just anyone, but someone who knows what she is going through. “Um Will…can I talk to you?”

“Uh, yeah sure.” Willow looked at Buffy.

“Ok…it must be some guy thing Dawn’s to embarrassed to tell me about…” Buffy took the hint and smiled at her sister, “I’m just gonna go inside, and maybe…I don’t know, make lunch?”

“You don’t have to Buff, I promised Hadley I’d order pizza when her and Tara come back.” Willow smiled her thanks anyways.

“Ok…then I’m gonna go and watch T.V.” The slayer took of inside the house, leaving Willow and Dawn alone.

“What is it?” Willow asked a little concerned.

“It’s Tori.” Dawn said sitting down.

“I thought you liked her?” Willow furrowed her brow in confusion.

“I do Will…a lot.” Dawn looked into green eyes. “That’s the thing, I’m sixteen, and I’ve fallen for a girl.”

“I was your age too when I fell for a girl.” Willow tried to comfort her. “It was five years ago, and I was sitting alone in the library, reading. I heard a voice that caught my attention; it was pretty, and smooth. I turned around and there she was. In her short black skirt, and white blouse, knee length boots. I couldn’t tear my eyes away. I thought she had the greatest smile, and laugh. She was talking with the librarian, and then turned around and caught my eye. So she walked over and introduced herself, I thought I was going to die. I knew from then on that women were the most beings on this earth.”

“Where is she now?” Dawn asked, wanting to know whatever happened to Willow’s first female crush.

“Watching T.V.” Willow smiled her head nodding towards the house.

Dawn frowned a bit, and then caught on, her eyes grew wide. “You had a crush on my sister?”

“Yes, I did. Though, it never lasted, as soon as we became best friends, I didn’t have those feeling anymore.” Willow explained. “So, you fell for Tori…how does she feel about you?” The red head knew the answer.

“The same as I do.” Dawn grinned. “We have our second, well first official, date tonight.”

“Really? Where you going?” Willow asked interested.

“Not sure, probably a movie or something.” Dawn shrugged her shoulders. “I kissed her last night.” She whispered.

“You what now?” Willow thought she heard correctly.

“I kissed her last night, outside her house. It was my first kiss…and it was wonderful.” The smile that appeared on Dawn’s face could’ve lit up a whole room.

“I take it she liked.” Willow teased. “What can I do for you?” She asked serious again.

“Tell me everything’s going to be ok? She thinks that Sunnydale is a safe place to live, and that she isn’t going anywhere.” Dawn pleaded.

“Tara thinks the same.” Willow confessed. “Those Maclay women I tell you. In the bases of comfort.”

“I don’t know about you Willow, but I’m going to tell Tori about this town. I have too, if something happens, she needs to know the truth, not just some freaking lie that everyone else believes.” Dawn took after Willow’s ‘resolve’ face.

“And I Tara. Hadley, she deserves a great life, none with monsters, demons, and vampires attacking her family.” Willow said sadly. “The only thing that scares me when I do tell her the truth, and tell her that a slayer does exist, she’ll move away.”

“She won’t Willow…she loves you, and Hadley will put up a fight if she ever decides to move.” Dawn put her arm around her friends shoulder.

“So will Tori.” Willow smirked. “So, you’re going to tell her?”

“Yeah, I have to.” Dawn sadly smiled. “If anything happens to her, I’ll never forgive myself.”

“I know what you mean.” Willow leaned against Dawn. “So I guess that’s it then.”

“Yeah.”

~*~*~*~*~*~

6:32pm

Tori groaned when she noticed time the clock read on her dresser. “Ugh!” She threw though pair of jeans that were in her hands, back into her drawer. “Hadley!”

The small girl came bouncing into her room a couple of seconds later. She looked as if she were about to get into trouble. “Yes?”

“Don’t look at me like that, you’re not in trouble.” Tori’s mood softened. “I just need your help.”

“For what?” An excitedly Hadley asked, her eyes shimmering like crystals.

“I have a date in like…thirty minutes.” Tori sat down on her bed. Hadley climbed up beside her, and placed a small hand on her knee. “With Dawn.”

“Oh Dawn?” Hadley giggled. “Wow…you must be freaked.”

“I am not freaked…hey why would I be freaked?” She looked at her niece.

“Don’t ask me. I’m just a kid.” Hadley smiled warmly. “You like Dawn…and you want to look…pretty right?”

“Yeah, somewhat to what you said.” Tori got off her bed and scrambled through her clothes again. “I have nothing nice to wear.”

Hadley frowned in thought, looking at the clothes for the first time. “How about something…like…” She hoped off the bed, and grabbed the dark denim jeans that Tori just threw a couple of minutes ago. “This, and this,” The small body bent down, and picked up a sleeveless white turtleneck. “Then how about…” Hadley scratched her head in thought, “Oh…this…” She ran over to the bedroom door, and picked out a long denim coat that hung just below the knees.

Tara watched her daughter and sister quietly from the hallway, she managed to move before Hadley spied her running towards the door for the denim coat. She smiled and shook her head slightly, and returned down to the living room. < Who’d ever think, my sister of all people, would get fashion help from Hadley…but my sweet little girl does have great taste in fashion. >

“Wow kiddo, great job.” Tori smiled at Hadley, “I don’t see why I couldn’t have picked that out myself.”

“Love clouds the mind.” Hadley mumbled as she dug through Tori’s belts.

“Love what…Had…”

“Here, I nice brown suede belt with fringes, and your big hoop earrings. But leave your hair down, it looks so beautiful down.” Hadley cut off her Aunt. “And Auntie Tori?” Hadley was making her way out of her room leaving Tori to get reading for her date.

“What is it sweetheart?” Tori smiled kneeling in front of the small blonde.

“Don’t wear to much make-up, you hide your beauty when you put too much on.” Hadley placed her tiny hands on Tori’s cheeks, letting her tiny thumbs run across full lips. “And wear lip gloss, it will define your lips.” Hadley was thanked by a smother of kisses coming from her Auntie. “Auntie…save those for Dawn.” Hadley giggled as she escaped Tori’s embrace.

“What flavour of lip gloss?” Tori yelled at the running child.

“Strawberry.” Hadley yelled back, running downstairs to join her mama on the couch.

The lighter brunette took her time getting ready.

6:55pm

“Five minutes left, ok…breathe.” Tori walked anxiously towards the window. “Why didn’t I pick her up, I have my license, and Tara’s car.”

DING DONG

Tara got up, and answered the door. “Dawn…wow, you look pretty.”

“Really?” Dawn stood there wearing, a long black skirt, with a dark red sweater, and a leather coat. She held something behind her back. “It is ok that I take Tori out right? I mean I know I should’ve asked…”

Tara held up her hand to silence Dawn. “It’s fine.” She smiled warmly. “Just make sure she doesn’t get you into trouble.” The blonde laughed. “But really Dawn, I’m glad it’s you who’s taking out my baby sister. You’re bright, beautiful, kind, and full of love. I couldn’t ask for more for her.”

Dawn felt her cheeks burn, as she hung her head low blushing. “Thanks Tara…coming from you that means a lot.”

Tara just smiled and invited Dawn inside. “Hadley, sweetie, will you go tell Auntie Tori, that Dawn’s here.”

“Sure mama…you looked beautiful Dawn.” Hadley stopped to check out Dawn’s outfit before climbing the stairs. She knocked on the bedroom door softly. “Auntie? Dawn is here.”

Tori turned around to face her little niece. “Thanks. I’ll be down in a minute.”

“What’s wrong? I thought you liked her?” Hadley asked concerned.

“You sweetheart, I do. A lot. It’s just…how am I going to tell her about our family? I mean, with the witch craft, and all that.”

“Just bring it up casly…”

“You mean casually?”

Hadley nodded her head, her curls bouncing. “Yes. She’ll understand, and if she doesn’t…is she worth it?”

“And when did you get to be so darn smart?” Tori picked up her niece smiling.

“Mama and you…I learned from you.” Hadley giggled. “Now come on…you’re beautiful date is waiting.”

“How does she look…oh, Goddess, how do I look?” Panic kicked in.

“You look very lovable sexiness!” Hadley said honestly.

“Lovable sexiness huh…where’d you hear that one?” Tori smirked.

“Willow said it to mama.” Hadley grinned, she always felt giddy mentioning Willow and mama in the same sentence.

“That would do it.” Tori put down her niece and let herself be lead down to the living room.

Dawn looked up and saw Tori with the most amazing smile on her face. “You look beautiful…and se…” Dawn blushed noticing Tara standing right there.

“Sexy?” Tori smirked. “So do you.”

“So, um…these are for you.” Dawn pulled out a couple of lilac flowers and held them in front of her. “I remember you telling me they were one of your mother’s favourites and that you missed the smell.”

“Oh Dawn…” Tori almost broke down into tears. “You’re so sweet.”

“So I thought maybe we’d catch a movie, and then head over to the Espresso Pump.” Dawn asked a bit hesitantly.

“That sounds wonderful.” Tori smiled.

“Kiss her.” Hadley whispered between her mother’s legs.

“Hadley!” Tori looked at her, then gave a wink. “Maybe later…”

Hadley giggled putting her hands over her mouth. “Mama…Tori’s gonna kiss Dawn. You looooove her, you want to kiiiiisssss her, you want to maaarrry…” Hadley’s mouth was covered by her mother’s own hand.

“Sorry, we’re just about to watch Miss Congeniality.” Tara apologized to the teenagers. “Here, give me the flowers so I can out them in water, and I’ll give you my car keys…drive safe, and be back around eleven.”

“Thanks…love you.” Tori kissed Tara on the cheek, “And you young lady…I’ll get you back for this.” She looked at Hadley who was still fighting her giggles.

Dawn laughed and held Tori’s hand. “Don’t be too hard on her…I know you want too.” She whispered in Tori’s ear. She managed to give it a quick bite before heading outside. Tori gulped, and shivered.

“And NO steaming up my windows!” Tara yelled out the door.

“YEAH!” Hadley yelled as well.

“Get in there you.” Tara swatted Hadley away playfully, getting out a small squeal of delight from her daughter.

She chased her daughter around the house, laughing and playing before curling up on the couch to watch the movie.

~*~*~*~*~*~

“We need to.” Willow said with anxiousness traced in her voice.

“Wills, how do we know that we can trust them?” Xander asked.

They all sat in Willow’s house, having a good old get together. They haven’t all spent time together, since the fist night she arrived back home. And even then, she was to wrapped up in a blonde…literally, on the front porch. Now, Willow had wanted to bring up the big discussion about telling The Maclays the truth about Sunnydale…so, she did.

“Xander, how the hell can you say that?” Willow shot back. “You know we can trust Tara and her family.”

“That’s not what I meant.” Xander replied.

“Then what did you mean?” Willow eyed him up evilly.

“It’s not Tara…”

“Who do you think we can’t trust…Hadley? Right, she gonna be running around late at night, peeking through helpless people’s windows and turn into some evil Chucky doll…with a rabbit as a side kick…because we all know little innocent five year old girls and bunnies are evil.”

“HEY!” Anya yelled in panic. “I’ll have you know that Bunnies are just as evil like…horses!” Anya stuck out her tongue at the red head, and curled into Xander’s side. “Stupid witch.” She muttered.

“No name calling.” Buffy interfered. “And Will, about your theory on the evil five year old…thanks, now I have the wiggins.”

“For crying out loud, Hadley isn’t evil, she’s as sweet as apple pie with a lot and a lot of extra sugar. And Tara’s not evil, because if she were evil, I’d know…when I kiss her, it’s nothing but pure heaven, and we all know evil can’t go to heaven.” She glared at Anya and smirked.

“Xander! Do something, she’s ogling over me…I don’t swing that way Willow…I don’t care if you’re famous and ri…” Anya stopped mid flow, and stared back at the red head with a beaming style. “Wait…I know, you haven’t gotten laid in a while right? Of course not, anyways, how about you and I…you know, and then you can pay me with lots of money.”

“Ew! Anya gross! What the hell are you thinking?” Willow looked disgusted, but then she fell into a fit of laughter. “Anya…thank you for the…um, kind offer, but I’ve already got someone in my life, who pleases me just fine.”

“Well what about Tori?” Xander tried to ignore the image of his two favourite girls together by changing the subject.

“No, The Maclays are not evil. None of them. And do you really think Buffy would let her kid sister hang out with Tori, if she suspected any evilness?” Willow raised an eyebrow.

“Willow is right…but Will…telling Tara is huge. What if it scares her? If I were a single mother, I’d want to leave knowing that this place is dangerous.” Buffy looked at her best friend with a weak smile.

“I know…it’s just, if I want to build this relationship with Tara, I’m going to have to tell her. Whether you like it or not.” Willow said sincerely, and returned the smile. “If anything happens Buff…I’d never be able to forgive myself.” She repeated the some words Dawn had used earlier that afternoon. < Oh Goddess, Dawn is going to tell Tori tonight…most likely. I have to go and tell Tara first, before she hears it from her sister. > “Guys, I gotta go. I’ll be…back…bye.” With that, the red head grabbed her coat, and headed over to the blondes.
