Summary: Willow is one of the hottest models in the world. When she comes home for her holiday, she meets a nice family that is new to Sunnydale. Can she find love, and continue her much loved career?
~Part 46b~~*~*~*~*~*~
Dawn sat in silence, listening to the clock tick above the mantle. “Tick tock goes the clock.” She whispered. Buffy was in the kitchen making a snack before she and Faith went out for patrol later that evening.
“You have five minutes left Dawn, stop looking at the clock, you know mom always said it made time go by slower.” Buffy yelled from the kitchen.
“Five minutes to go on this clock, but what if Tori’s clock is faster.” Dawn smiled and felt a satisfied sigh escape her lips, she knew Buffy couldn’t say anything else to make the clock talk worse.
“What if Tori’s clock is slower and she still has ten or fifteen minutes left?” Buffy laughed hard as she heard her sister whine.
“Buffy!” Dawn whined and got up going to the kitchen. “You just had to say that.”
“Hey, you were the one trying to be logic gal, I’m just putting some reality into the conversation.” Buffy nibbled on some Goldfish crackers. “How come some have smile and eyes and others don’t?” She frowned and studied a couple of crackers in front of her. “It really isn’t fair.” She scowled as she threw one into her mouth.
Dawn chuckled. “Hadley asked the exact same thing.” She remembered the little spat between Hadley and Tori that afternoon.
“Well Hadley is a very smart and observant little girl.” The slayer nodded firmly. “Did she get an answer?”
Dawn frowned in thought and tapped her finger on her chin. “Oh! Tori just said, ‘Well, maybe the ones without the eyes, don’t want to know when a little blonde squirt is going to chomp them up in her tiny yet big mouth,’.”
“That was a little rude.” Buffy rolled her eyes.
“Don’t worry, I elbowed her lightly.” Dawn sighed and sat on the stool beside her sister.
“Who? Tori or Hadley.”
“Tori!” Dawn frowned. “Like I’d elbow Hadley, are you kidding me? Didja see her kick some magic ass? She could leash some spell on me.”
“Dawn, Hadley would never do that, you know that.” Buffy stood up and looked out the kitchen window. “Looks like my girlfriend is home.” She got all giddy and made her way to the door.
Dawn peeked out the window and saw the Maclay vehicle. “Oh!” She squealed as she dashed to the living room. She sat down as casually as she could before Faith opened up the front door – only to be pounced on by Buffy.
“Wow B, happy to see you too.” Faith squeezed Buffy’s body closer and kissed her neck. “Mmmm, you smell so good.” She murmured.
“I hate to break up this rather…wait, I don’t hate it, where’s my girlfriend?” Dawn asked moving forward towards the door.
“Oh, right.” Faith pulled back away from Buffy and stepped aside. “May I present to you, Miss Victoria Maclay.”
Tori blushed and walked through the door, a shawl covering her bare shoulders, the dress was floor length and wavy. “Hey.” She said in a breathy whispered once she looked at Dawn. The dress clung onto all the right places on the young woman’s body. “Wow.”
Faith leaned into Buffy and whispered in her ear. “Are you sure these two haven’t…”
Buffy shook her head and looked at Faith. “Like I’d want to know.” She scowled playfully.
“You look so amazingly beautiful.” Dawn sighed and embraced Tori in a loving hug.
“And you look absolutely stunning.” Tori pulled back and made Dawn twirl around once. “Yes, even better than I had imagined.”
“Awww.” Both slayers sighed.

Hadley could hardly keep her excitement at bay. She knew where they were going and she knew what Willow was about to give her mama, was absolutely – exciting.
“Wow, quite the fidgety one are we?” Tara raised an eyebrow and looked at her daughter.
“I’m just so excited.” Hadley practically bounced in her seat.
Willow snickered and with her free hand, she ran it through Hadley’s soft blonde hair. “Patience baby girl, we’re almost there.”
“Where is ‘there’ exactly?” Tara wondered, looking around at her surroundings. She took in the autumn coloured leaves on the road ahead of them, she didn’t recognize where they were or where they were heading. “Are we even in Sunnydale anymore?”
“Just outside of Sunnydale.” Willow smiled and tossed her fiancée a loving glance. “We’re about five minutes away.”
Tara raised both eyebrow and continued to take in the scenery around her. “It reminds me of back home.” She smiled at the memories. “Mama and I used to rake the fall leaves and build a large pile in the middle of the backyard, but we had to do it when Donnie wasn’t home, or else he would’ve ruined it.”
Willow smiled and drove past some old abandoned houses.
“She would jump in the pile of leaves first to make sure it was all soft and nothing would hurt, then she’d let me run and jump into the leaves, or toss me in lightly.” Tara let out a snort of laughter. “When Tori was about Hadley’s age, she would get so scared of a pile of leaves.”
“Well duh!” Hadley looked up at her mama. “They could suck you in and and then you would be sucked into the ground with all those icky creatures under the soil and how about the frogs?” Her eyes went wide.
So did Willow’s. “I’m with Hadley on this one, there is no way I’m getting sucked into a batch full of slimy-yucky-sticky-smelling frogs.
“Okay, that was Tori’s excuse minus the frogs bit.” Tara couldn’t help her laughter, it echoed around the trees. “Frogs?”
“Yes frogs, and I would appreciate it if you don’t laugh at our fears.” Willow pouted and turned onto a dirt road.
“Yea.” Hadley mimicked her mommy’s actions and pouted, crossing her arms over her chest. A pout curled down on her bottom lip.
“I’m sorry.” Tara reached over and ran her hand through Willow’s red locks and kissed Hadley’s head at the same time. “I wasn’t laughing at that, honestly, it’s just a cute fear you two have in common.”
“We do.” Hadley eyes brightened up.
Willow pulled the vehicle to a stop and winked at Hadley. “Okay, we’re here.” She breathed in the country side air.
Tara noticed the smell in the air immediately and her eyes went wide and she smiled, but she never said a word. This was Willow’s surprise and she wasn’t about to ruin it.
“We have to walk along this trail.” Willow grabbed Hadley’s hand and Tara’s as the walked across a small oak bridge.
“It’s so beautiful here.” Tara beamed.
“It is.” Hadley grinned and looked across the large opening, where the county side could be seem for miles. “Wow.” She whispered to herself.
Willow bit her lip as they approached a pebbled pathway. “Okay, baby, I want to explain my reasons for this surprise.” She stopped Tara and cupped her face gently. “I remember you had told me this story about when you were younger and you and your mother and Tori would go out to your Aunt’s farm and take care of the horses.” Willow paused and stepped aside as a lady in the back opened the white fence to allow three horses walk out calmly. “I wanted to give this to you.” She whispered as she dug into her pocket and retrieved a key, placing the cool metal in Tara’s palm.
“Willow-” Tara frowned slightly with confusion, but her eyes wondered to the horses. “You…this is yours?”
“No, it’s yours.” Willow smiled sweetly and picked up Hadley. “Bonnie, thank you for waiting.” She approached the older woman standing patiently by the fence. “Honey, this is Bonnie, her family made the farm years and years ago, Bonnie, this is my beautiful wife-to-be Tara and our daughter Hadley.”
“Wow, you have such a lovely family.” Bonnie smiled.
“And it’s not even half of us.” Willow giggled and put down Hadley. “Tara?” She looked at Tara, who was standing there saying nothing. “Are you okay?”
“This key…?” Tara held out the key.
“Surprise!” Hadley smiled and wrapped an arm around Tara’s leg.
“Tara, love, Bonnie has been a friend of the Rosenberg family since she was a kid, she grew up here.” Willow softly explained.
“I’m selling the place.” Bonnie jumped in. “I can’t afford to take care of it and even if I could or found a way, I wouldn’t be here to take care of it. I’m moving across the country to be with my daughter and I didn’t know anyone who would love to take good care of this place…until I bumped into Willow.” She older woman smiled, her grey eyes shimmering in the sunset glow. “We started talking and she asked about this place and I told her my plans for selling it to anyone with the best offer.”
“Not the horses though, she gave me those for free.” Willow smiled and laced her fingers through Tara’s.
“I thought you had horse fear?” Tara asked her fiancée.
“Me too.” Willow smiled and kissed Tara on the cheek. “But these horses are the sweetest baby. Bonnie let me get to know them, and Hadley’s even in likes with them. Besides, for you, I would do anything….except the frog fear thing…that one is a stay forever type of fear.”
“Yes, mommy and I came up here one evening while you were at class. She showed me around and mama, can we keep it?”
“You have no choice my love, the land is bought and paid for.” Willow grinned.
“You had the best offer?” Tara smiled.
“Well, technically I never made it that far.” Bonnie lightly grinned. “Willow immediately said she’d be offering a decent price for the land I own. She had told me about your love for horses and your dreams for living in a country like home. Willow has been so generous to the family, sending us holiday cards, helping out with in town things, she truly is a remarkable woman. I couldn’t say no.”
“The horses have names already mama.” Hadley smiled.
“I love you Willow.” Tara smiled and brushed her lips over the red heads softly.
“I love you Tara.” Willow smiled softly. “And I was thinking, once school is finished we can maybe…build a home here?”
Tara’s eyes grew and she smiled so wide. “Really?”
“Yes, really, really.” Willow grinned and brushed her lips over Tara’s again.
“Yay! I can live with horses!” Hadley danced, ignoring the kissing her parents shared. She looked up and saw Bonnie blush as the witches shared a moment. “Oh, you get used of it.” She grinned. “Mommy and mama are always smooching, makes me want to date even more.”
“I heard that.” Willow mumbled as Tara’s mouth took hers possessively.
“Thank you.” Tara moaned as her tongue traced Willow’s thin lips. “Thank you so much.” She sighed as they kissed deeply.
“Why don’t we look at the horses.” Bonnie cleared her throat and took Hadley’s tiny hand into her own, walking towards the horses.

“It’s so beautiful.” Tori smiled as her and Dawn walked into the ballroom together, hand in hand. The place was filled with white fabric and fake snow on sides of the walls. The streamers were a light powder blue, giving the place an effect of what winter would look like if it snowed.
“Hey ladies.” A student walked by, smiling at the couple. Tori and Dawn gave the school much time to adjust to them being together, in a girlfriend kind of way. Even the staff knew about their relationship.
“I may skip the dinner part.” Dawn said hesitantly. “My dress was too expensive to get any mess on it.”
“Mine too, plus we can always sneak a snack by the vending machine in hall, later on.” Tori waggled her eyebrows.
“By the vending machine…don’t you mean, at?” Dawn grinned.
“Well I never said what I was snacking on.” Tori winked playfully and giggled when Dawn blushed.
“You two look absolutely amazing.” Lindsay came up to them and gave them a hug. “Wow.”
“Thanks.” The couple beamed.
“Where’s your date?” Tori asked.
“Jerome is hanging up our coats.” Lindsay sighed happily. “He is such a sweet guy.”
“So things are going good?” Dawn asked, wrapping her arm around her girlfriend’s waist.
“Oh yes, definitely. His family invited me to his place for there Christmas dinner.”
“That is so good.” Tori grinned and looked over at Jerome. “He’s such a gorgeous guy too.”
Dawn raised an eyebrow at Tori. “Really…”
“Yes, really.” Tori laughed and kissed Dawn on the forehead. “Baby, I’m yours and you are mine and I’m a lesbian.”
“Really?” Dawn grinned. “Because I’m one too!”
“No, you’re just in love with one, you however, love the male species.” Tori teased. “But hey, whatever floats your boat.”
“You flood-”
“Dawn!” Tori clamped Dawn’s mouth shut with her hand and blushed crimson red.
“Well, it’s safe to say that Jerome is my man and you two are each others.” Lindsay smirked.
“Hey.” Jerome came up behind Lindsay and wrapped his arms around her waist. “Ladies, looking pretty good.”
“Thank you.” Dawn curtsied and smiled.
“Yes, thank you Jerome.” Tori grinned. “So where are you two sitting?”
“Lead the way.” Lindsay pushed her best friend forward lightly, watching as she took Dawn’s hand and kissed it lightly.
“Perfect couple.” Jerome whispered.
“I agree.” Lindsay sank back into his embrace.
