~Part 26a~~*~*~*~*~*~*~
“Hadley!” Tori came out of the living room and into the kitchen where Tara and Hadley were making a little dinner for three. Tori had thirty minutes to get herself ready and be at the Summers home for dinner with Dawn, Buffy and Mrs. Summers. On her way down to the living room, she found a small table knocked over and Tori’s flowers in a vase were now on the floor with a water puddle.
“What?” Hadley looked at her Aunt, her blue eyes sparkled.
“You really have to know how to use the chair and it’s brakes.” Tori muttered filling the vase up with water again, and placed the flower’s inside. “Tara, try and control her, she’s knocking everything over.”
“It’s not like she has a choice Tori. And besides, I was the one that knocked that over.” Tara sighed. “I was just getting things in order before Willow gets here, then I was going to clean my mess.”
“Yeah, it was mama.” Hadley said.
“I’m sorry Hadley.” Tori smiled. “Can you please control your mama, she’s knocking everything over.”
Tara threw a bad lettuce leaf at her sister’s feet. “Go get ready!” She smiled.
“You are so lucky this isn’t what I was wearing to the dance.” Tori picked up the piece and threw it back at Tara.
“Stop!” Hadley shouted. “That poor lettuce is going to cry.” She went to where the lettuce was, on Tara’s lap, and inspected it. “Yup, you did some serious damage.” She looked up at the older women.
Both Tori and Tara tried to stifle a giggle. “Maybe be we can revive it.” Tori laughed.
Hadley frowned and looked at her mama who was inspecting it herself. “What is it mama?”
“Nothing, just…shame on you Tori!” Tara threw a look to her sister, raising an eyebrow. “This lettuce will not survive if you don’t say sorry.”
Hadley laughed and backed up in her little wheelchair, everyone stopped laughing when the heard a smash of broken glass. The small girl looked beside her, and on the floor there was the vase in pieces and the flowers almost underneath her wheel.
“Hadley!” A frustrated scream came out of Tori’s voice.
“Oops... Sorry…” Hadley half giggled and half winced.

Willow was running a little late. Scattering around her place, she finally finished her laundry, now she was feeding Brady and giving her the medication, and running to the kitchen to get the potato salad out of the fridge before heading over to Tara’s for a ‘romantic’ dinner with the two blonde’s that stole her heart.
“Now Brady, I’m bringing you because Hadley misses you, so I want you to be on your best behaviour.” The red head patted Brady’s head and smiled at her puppy. “But you’re always on your best behaviour aren’t you? Yes you are.”
Brady barked and licked her owner’s hand. A knock at the door brought Willow out of her play ness with her puppy. “Nikki?”
“Oh, good, I did find the right place.” Nikki smiled throwing her long black hair over her shoulders. “Hi.”
“Hey…come in.” Willow moved aside to let the other model in. “What brings you here?”
“Well, I was actually passing through this town from Las Vegas, and I thought I’d stop by. But I can leave if you want.” Nikki smiled letting her own green eyes flash at Willow’s.
“Oh no no.” Willow smiled and looked at Nikki. “I was just heading out however, but I shouldn’t be gone to long.”
“Oh…ok.” Nikki looked around the big foyer. “Going to Tara’s?” The model grinned and winked.
“Yes, I’m going over there for dinner…I would ask you to come…”
“Oh no. Please don’t. I would’ve declined the offer anyways. Besides, you must need all the time you can get since we’re heading to Australia at the end of the month.” Nikki watched sadness cross over Willow’s face. “Oh God Willow, I’m sorry.”
“No, it’s fine. You’re right. Um, if you’re hungry, there’s food in the fridge, the T.V. is in the living room, and the bathroom is down the far hall, first door on the right.” Willow smiled weakly. “I’d leave Brady with you, but she misses her best friend Hadley.”
“That’s fine. I’ll be fine.” Nikki smiled.
“I trust you Nik.” Willow said before grabbing her puppy. “Tara’s number is on the fridge, and if I’m not back by after sunset, please don’t go out ok?”
Nikki shook her head a bit confused and smiled. “Ok.”
“Great, bye.”

Tori looked over herself one last time in the review mirror before getting out of the small vehicle. Straightening her black dress, patting out the imaginary wrinkles, she looked up at the Summers home. < Ok, this is it. Meeting Mrs. Summers again, except it feels like the first time…and I’m nervous as hell. What if she doesn’t like me? What if she’s just pretending to act cool until I get inside… >
“Tori?” A female voice came up behind her.
Tori turned around and saw a familiar looking female walking up towards her. < That face…those clothes… > “Faith?”
“You remembered.” Faith grinned, stepping back, she looked at the teenager up and down slowly. “Date tonight?”
“Actually…yes.” Tori laughed. “A date…kind of a big day.”
“A big day? Oh…Joyce is back isn’t she?”
“Yeah she’s back, and Dawn told her about us yesterday, so I’m here for dinner.” Tori looked down at herself once again.
“I wouldn’t sweat it kid, Joyce is cool.” Faith smiled and ran her hands through her dark brown hair. “So is Red and Tara still together?”
“Do I even have to answer that? Those two are always with each other, I don’t know how things will be when Willow moves to Australia for a month.” The young Maclay shrugged her shoulders and let her light brown hair fall over her face.
Faith studied her and reached over to put a hand on her shoulder. “Hey, it will be ok…Willow will make the right choice…she always does.”

“Dawn, calm down.” Buffy snickered watching her younger sister try and pick out what kind of China to use. “Go with last years Christmas ones.”
Dawn stopped and looked at the pearl white plates with a nicely gold trim around it. “You think?” She asked hesitantly.
“I know so. Why don’t you go and wait for Tori while I set up the table and check in with mom.” Buffy took the plates from her sister’s hands and scooted her out towards the small foyer.
Dawn turned around and looked at Buffy. “You did speak to mom right? About the embarrassment rules, you did tell her to behave herself?”
“Yes…I did my best. No promises though.” Buffy smiled and watched her nerve-wracking sister pace in the foyer.

“Well aren’t you going?” Faith asked Tori, who just stood there looking at the door.
“Are you? I mean, are you here to see Buffy?” Tori asked adverting her eyes away from the door and onto the slayer.
“I was.” Faith nodded her head honestly. “But seeing as how this is a big deal and all…I think I’ll skip it this time.”
“Oh no you don’t. If Buffy found out that you were in Sunnydale, and you never stopped by…she’ll be hurt and angry.” Tori knew this because of what Dawn explained. How the two slayers parted, and how Buffy wished or thought of the day she’d see Faith again, or if she’d ever see Faith again for that matter.
“Relax hazel, I’ll be back…”
“Faith?” Dawn poked her head out the door and saw her girlfriend speaking to the young slayer. Her smile grew even brighter seeing her girlfriend dressed in a long black dress with her hair down and minimal make-up. Walking down the path a short ways, she stopped in front of Tori. “You look beautiful.” She whispered leaning in and placing a quick kiss on her cheek.
“Isn’t that sweet.” Faith smirked. “I guess that’s my cue to go…”
“Oh no…you’re coming in too. Lot’s of food and Buffy will be happy to see that you actually stopped by.” Dawn grabbed Faith’s hand and Tori’s with the other.

Tara opened the door and there stood her girlfriend grinning like crazy, holding two bouquets of flowers in front of her. “Hey sexy.”
“Hi.” Willow stepped forward and kissed Tara quickly before pulling back. “This one is for you…” She handed Willow lilies with baby breath, “And this is for Hadley…” She showed Tara and it had the same flowers.
Tara grinned and looked at her girlfriend suspiciously. “What are you up to?” She asked putting one finger in Willow’s belt loop and pulled her close.
“Well…your flowers come with some Willow sweetness, Hadley’s comes with Brady…if you want, I can always give Hadley the sweetness and you Brady to play with…”
“Got it thanks.” Tara kissed Willow softly, letting the tip of her tongue run along the bottom of her lip. “Willow sweetness is much needed for Tara.” She breathed.
“Oh…me too.” Willow pulled Tara back in and kissed her passionately.
Hadley peeked around the corner and grinned when she saw her mommies embraced in a passionate kiss. A small snorting sound brought her back… “Brady!!” She squealed with delight.
Willow and Tara’s lips popped from each other’s and turned to watch as Brady limped her was in the door and whimpered at the foot of Hadley’s wheelchair. Willow let go of Tara and picked Brady up to put on Hadley’s lap. “There you go.” Bending down she kissed Hadley’s forehead. “How’s our little angel?” She asked smiling.
Hadley looked up at Willow and smiled. “Good, mama and I made supper.”
“Really? Mmm, can’t wait.” Willow turned around and saw Tara closing the door and placing the flowers in two empty vases. “I brought some salad.”
“Willow, you didn’t have too.” Tara walked back towards her girlfriend. “We made plenty, but you know what? We’re going to love the potato salad.”
“That’s good.” Willow smirked.
“So let’s get into the kitchen and eat.” Hadley laughed turning her wheelchair around and headed to the kitchen.

“Buffy?” Dawn called from the foyer.
“Dawn…” Faith half whined and half complained.
“Relax.” Dawn smiled and squeezed her hand for reassurance.
“Dawn, is she here yet?” Buffy asked walking into where the three other women stood. “Faith…”
“Hey B.” Faith tried to act casual giving a small wave.
Buffy froze for a moment looking the other slayer up and down. Somehow she looked a bit more cleaned up. Her dark hair was shining with the afternoon sun, her eyes didn’t seem as hallow or tired, her clothing was still the same but yet different. The leather wasn’t so dark and the top was still tight as hell, not like Buffy was complaining…shaking herself out if her thoughts she smiled and stepped forward to give Faith a hug. “How are you?”
“Good a couple of seconds ago…better now.” Faith smiled.
“Where’s mom?” Dawn asked taking Tori’s hand.
“In the kitchen preparing the rolls and drinks. Go in and let her know that the beautiful Tori has arrived…” Buffy noticed Tori for the first time, “Oh wow Tori…love the dress.”
Tori blushed and put her head down. “Thanks.”
Dawn loved the rare moments Tori would become shy. “Well…shall we?”

“Can I go and watch T.V.?” Hadley asked putting her fork down on her empty plate.
Tara smiled and dismissed her daughter. “We’ll call you when we’re done so we can have dessert.”
“Ok.” The tiny blonde scooted her way out of the kitchen leaving Tara and Willow alone.
“So, are you spending the night?” Tara asked, throwing the question out there casually.
“I would love too…but I can’t.” Willow answered sadly. “Remember Nikki?”
Tara nodded her head. “The model that was lusting after Buffy.”
Willow giggled, “Right, her. Well she kind of dropped by unexpectedly and she’s at my house as we speak…”
“How come your not with her?” Tara asked.
“Because I had plans with you. I’m not going to let her spoil this evening for us…besides,” Willow answered honestly. Getting up from her chair, she crossed over to Tara’s and straddled her thighs, “I’d much rather be here with you and Hadley, having this ‘romantic’ candle lit dinner, and having Tara smoochies squeezed in.”
“Is that so?” Tara grinned and wrapped her arms around Willow’s waist and kissed Willow’s chin. “To bad you haven’t finished your dinner yet…no dessert until all of your vegetables are eaten.”
Willow kissed along Tara’s jaw line, and up to her ear, “Lucky for me…you’re also an appetizer…” She whispered before taking Tara’s ear lobe and sucking it gently making Tara squirm.
“Evil Willow…that’s pure evil.” Tara moaned when Willow’s hand slipped underneath her sweater.
“I’m never evil.” Willow whispered. “Just a little…hungry.” Slowly she closed the distance between her and her girlfriend's full lips.
