:lol I can soo picture Buffy flipping her hair. :lol So funny.

Awww.. poor Will and Xander. But, poor Tara. And I bet she gets Buffy back for taking that picture.

OH... can someone answer a question for me? What are the tea cups? I'm trying to picture them in my head, but I'm having trouble. I think I know what they are, do they kinda spin in a circle and kinda look like a circle cut in half and a bar comes down in front of you to hold you in?? If so... I LOVE that ride. It's sooo fun. :grin

Thanks for the update, Piper. Looking forward to the next part.

Jen

Oooooh.... you know what would be a fun ride for them to go on? I can't remember the name of it, but you get in it and lean against the wall and it spins so fast that you can practically climb the wall. Do you know which one I'm talking about? I think that would be fun for the gang. I always end up soo dizy when the ride is done though. :(

Grimaldi: Thanks! :) Glad you caught up!

Loco2: Anything? *raises eyebrows skeptically* As for the curry powder…you really, really should…

star: *bows* Why thank you very, very much! :grin *nods in agreement* Teacups are pure evil and must be stopped at all costs! Next update should be tomorrow. And your not the only hyper one! hehehe *snort*

LeatherQueen: Yes! Exactly!!! Took the words right outta my mouth!

Jennpurr: Oh yes! Payback in my fic is a must! As for the teacup question…I haven’t been on it in a while so I can’t really explain it.

Oh! I love that idea!!!!!! I’m totally gonna use that but I can’t for the life of me remember what it’s called! I went on that at some traveling carnival and had to go home cause it made me so sick!!! :lol I couldn’t even go on the ferris wheel after that! I’ll try to be nice to the Scoobies though and not make them too dizzy. *evil grin* *rubs hands together, pondering*

Hee.... a big YES!!! to the payback. Can't wait to see what you do. :lol

It's okay about the ride thing. I think I'm thinking about the right one. I haven't been on it in a while, I just remember I love that one. :)

Ooooh... I think that ride is called something with spaceship in it? Is that right? I soo can't remember. :( But, cool that you are going to send them on it. It doesn't make me sick, just dizzy as hell afterwards. I don't see how some people can walk out of it, without feeling any kind of affects. :confused

Looking forward to more.

Postby pikescoob » Fri Jul 26, 2002 10:07 am

I think you mean the "Gravitron"....it looks like a spaceship and when you get inside it spins around until you're like pinned up against the wall and you really shouldn't try and move your head cuz your neck might snap. Soooo dizzy after that....I avoid rides like that. :x Poor Tara having to sit with two sickly tea cup riders...I wouldn't wanna have her spot with all that potential to get thrown up on. : Hehe...that camera is getting some great shots :grin

edited to say: oops I guess I was a bit late with the name to that ride....oh well :)

um, you mean the big drum that sticks you to the wall and you get a little worried when everyone but you is coming down and you're still stuck up there? it must be called different things in every amusement park...though i've forgotten what it is called in the one i visit quite a bit....:

eh, i'm often doing stupid things that are totally not worth it, but end up doing 'em again and again anyways.........so i'm often making myself dizzy.:D

Postby foreverpiper » Fri Jul 26, 2002 4:28 pm

uuuh...all i remember is it was a huge circular thing that you went into. Then you stood up and wrapped this seatbelt thing around you...um...i think. i'm not sure cause i went on it about 2 or 3 years ago so the details are kinda fuzzy. *shrug* And then it spun around real fast and when you looked across from you it seemed as if you were lying down and the people were right on top of you. Is this making any sence? cause i'm not thinking to clearly right now. hehe, too much caffine. :grin

:lol i used to do stupid things...still do in fact...many, many stupid things, but i won't ever go on that blasted ride again! *shudder* Ever!

But once! The last time at Busch Gardens, i took one of those fake armor things that are for 7 year old boys and i put it on. It was my friend's dad's girlfriend's son's (whoa), and i shoved it all on, breastplate, helmat, shield, and sword, and i went around Busch Gardens shouting "WELCOME TO BUSCH GARDENS! HAVE A NICE DAY!!!" and i threw in the occasional "HOW ARE YOU?" and to top it off i ended it with a spectacular show of swordfighting with my friend's dad's girlfriend's son! I have no idea why I wrote this...exept i'm in a huge hyper mode!!!! :grin :grin :grin Okay, i'll stop now...

Postby Latsric » Fri Jul 26, 2002 8:21 pm

I was checking to see if there had been an update and while I was reading all the posts I had an idea of a ride that you could send W/T on. Not sure if most parks have one, but at the local park here its called the Tornado. Basically you get in these little cars that are on a track that goes through this big building...kinda like a haunted house, but you don't have to walk. And why should the gang go on this ride you ask? It's dark, only two people fit in each car, and the ride goes real slow.....hence, SMOOTCHIE TIME:)

I have first hand experience of this as the first real date my partner and I went on was to an amusement park and we actually had our first kiss on this ride...so, i'm a little biased about the excitement factor. But i'm sure willow and tara will love it. :)

hmmmmm *ponders exitedly* Well, well, well...interesting. 2 seats...dark place...slow ride...very, very interesting. I'll just have to try and sqeeze that in somewhere. :grin ;) Thanks for the idea. :D

But what exactly happens in the ride? Anything pop out? Casue to tell you the truth...i've never really been inside a haunted house *ducks tomatos* Yes, i know, i know, i'm pathetic... :spin

But any details of the ride would be muchly apriciated. :grin

2 seats, dark place, and a slow ride sounds VERY interesting to me, as well. :drool

Oooh, you could also have Willow and Tara ride in one of those cars that goes over the park so can look down on it. Do you know which one I'm talking about?? The one that rides on the cable?? I think that would be a good cuddle, smoochie place. :D

Jen: :lol The Battering Ram is shaped like a boat and it rocks back and forth. It goes really high and makes it seem like your gonna flip over but it never does. I can't explain it very well but go here and there's a pic:

Oh, okay. Cool. It's kinda like the Looping Starship, I think it's called, here. Except, this ride actually DOES go upside down and at one point, it holds you there for a sec. I have never ridden it though. Not for me. :)

Thanks for explaining that, Piper.

I dunno what the Looping Starship is but I'm guessing it's pretty much the same...minus the going upside down part. I'd probably go on it! I'll go on pretty much anything...except the evil teacups of course...or the Gravitron...:D but other than that, i'm good to go!

Okay, good! Now I know what the ride thing's called. Thanks! :D

The ride wuz the Log Flume. The Bamboo Shoot looks pretty similar. Of course...Willow and Tara aren't finished getting soaked for the day! :p They still have Roman Rapids! *evil cackle*
