Lisa, awesome as usual.

Mature Dawn is really nice to see. Able to handle confrontation, without wiggins. And the romance developing is wonderful.

Poor Tara, trying to tell Willow, but torn about the details.

Wonder what trouble these powers will give her when she has to confront her family.

Willow and Ceri, the failed attempt to get to Tara was definitely fun.

More Willow and Tara alone time you say? :clap

Lisa,

Loved the new chapter, especially:

the Dawn/Bre scene, with Brianna reading their auras and blurting out in the manner of a toddler to all and sundry;

Willow's Master Plan. Tara kinda deserved it. Very funny how Ceri, despite her reservations, played along with a certain relish;

But of course (and knowing me, you just had to know that this was my favorite line):

"...two naked witches using a gallon of chocolate ice cream in the naughtiest fashion..."

You're killin' me here! :)

Looking forward to seeing Tara spill the whole thing to Willow, and what's going on with Clan Maclay.

Lisa, this was a very good chapter, really enjoyed reading it :) liked the Dawn/Bre interaction. Willow and her "Master Plan" was funny. Kaley is such a bitch, i know she lost her sister, but she better keep her comments to herself or she could end up getting hurt. when Beth contacts Tara, wonder if Tara will go to see her father.

Dude, we're surrounded by perverts!
No! Well, okay. No. Pez!

I gald that RL is starting to be good to you agin. Now when Brianna saw Dawns and Bre lights and how they look like Willow and Tara's that was nice. I hope they go slow but I want them as a couple at the end. Willow's master plan work cause she and Tara are talking but wait until Tara tell's her about her power's. I wonder when Kaley goes to Sunnydale and meet's Buffy? Now Tara's family come's into play have to went and see on that one. I just though of something Tara feeling bad about Bre moves her into Her's and Willow's home and Brianna play's matchmaker in getting Bre and Dawn together.

Lisa,

Great update. It was a little more mellow than I thought it would be though.

I really expected things to get much more intense between W/T when they were trying to work things out. Although, I suppose there is plenty of time for that the next morning when Tara tells Willow about the mage powers.

How cute was Brianna when she was talking about Bre and Dawn's lights?

Thanks for the update. I hope everything is better.

:bounce update....yes... :bounce

Ok, I'm all with the woo-hoo here :D

About this chapter, I was actually wondering when Tara's familly would show up. Good thing Willow asked her parents to leave. Hmm.. not much goodness comes from parents/familly for both of them now does it ? :)

Tara needs to rest most of all, poor girl is probably exhausted. Good thing Willow didn't yell at her, not that I expected that.... the memory will stay a while though. About the keepers/Bre incident, even though Tara's little adventure triggered it, I don't think it could have been avoided forever. Keepers *were* around and would eventually have been spotted.

Willow being all caring for Tara, Will really has matured hasn't she ? I like over-protective Willow :D . Liked her being all playfull to ease Tara's pain too. The "MasterPlan" was typical Willow but Tara didn't want to play :) rather dangerous plan too btw, getting Tara angry... not at all healthy. I took Willow's 'tummy-wound' as being the problem with her uterus, it's just more definite that she *can't* have babies now.

Bre/Dawn: well, that went as expected :) Wasn't too impressed with Dawn waving her credentials around (she real likes the word 'docter' doesn't she?), respect has to be earned another way. Then again I'm hardly ever impressed with Dawn although she's nice in this story.

Brianna really needs to control what she says about aura's. Esp. if they go anywhere near the MaClay's (red/black would be my guess:) ). Love how she asked Dawn if she had 'fixed' Bre, nice and simple.

I'm not all that concerned about the MaClay familly. Main problem there is that Tara is just too compasionate, she would help a mugger back on his feet after he mugged her so to speak. Worst case scenario is someone from the MaClay's (excluding Tara) getting hurt, either by an Imbolc Guard or by Willow. Should be fun if Donnie as much as breathes in Willow's direction, heh (he can stop breathing anytime for all I care btw).

I wonder if Caleb wants to see Tara to reconsile or that he simply wants something from her. He'll probably happilly embrace magic if it cures him, heh. At least Donnie is consistently evil, makes it easier.

Kaley; she needs to recognize defeat as far as Bre goes. Bre doesn't want her and has told her so twice, come on girl move on. I'll forgive her her other comments, she sees Tara as rather ungratefull I think. Based on her limited experience thats not so strange. Why bother die-ing while protecting someone, when that same person runs out on her protectors anyway? Whats the point in that ? She is making herself impossible by being so hostile to Dawn, which is sad.

I wonder if the Guard gets informed about all this mage stuff. They'll need to take care around Tara and Willow for a while after, esp. Willow who hasn't gone through the snappy-phase yet :) How will they look at Tara after this incident (worse without explanation probably) ?

It was definitly not a smart idea to specificly have Kaley replace Gandu. Brent needs to do her homework on that. A bodyguard focussed on her own revenge/problems does no-one any good. Besides, Kaley doesn't seems to have enough self-control to ever become an Imbolc Guard in the first place. It's surprising she passed training at all.

Of...to read some earlier chapters, cyaz...

P.S. lisa, check your email :) .

Lisa,

I must say I loved this chapter! The Dawn/Bre insecurity factor was at an all time high. I hope you draw it out painfully slow...

Kaley is sooo in for some Willow-smackdown! I can't wait!

Please tell us that you're going to let Willow turn Donnie into a lizard or somethin'. Oh, better yet...let Brianna! She could turn him into a bad 70's disco singer garbed in polyester!!!

Lisa,

You can always cut your hair really short and color it blue if you want to make sure your point comes across :) Ok, hiding away the stereotypes now...:)

If that doesn't work wear a T-shirt:

Now all readers, please tell Lisa is butch and make her a happy (butch) girl :pray , thanks :D .

To stay a bit on-topic, Tiyo; the problem with any of the scoobies causing Donnie permanent harm is that they will (for a reason I can't phantom) feel guilty about it. It would be better if Donnie just moves to strike at Willow and let Ceri handle it, she did fine with Amy back then :D (Amy touching Tara while being surrounded by the entire Imbolc Guard can't be beaten for stupidity though)

That hospital room is going to be too small to fit all people :) As if Tara would be allowed off the grounds with a proper escort. Brent probably knows what Tara's dad tried to do on her 20th birthday... yep, Tara will get an escort all right :D

I have to agree with Grim, Tara won't go anywhere without an armed escort. Although Ceri could probably make Donnie look as though he had been run through a food processor...

hey, hey and hey, empowered wimmin types, butchness is considered by many to be a state of mind these days. we of the uber-feminist/postmodern theory-heads school of gender and sexuality like to screw with the proscribed social norms as much as possible...in the spirit of alix olsen, her hotness, and the gender deconstruction workers. so, lisa, if you want to be a femmy-butch, I say... you go, girlfriend! power to the femmy-butch!

replies to page 26 (on my screen)

Postby Lisa of Nine » Fri Nov 01, 2002 1:28 am

I am beat. These are the replies to people who posted on page 26 of my browser. I will post more tomorrow after I get back from lunch with my best freind. (She has been my dearest, best friend since 2nd grade and like a sister, and NO she and I are NOT like Dawn and Bre. She is married and very happy. Plus, the sister vibe...so ew! Have no fear, any highjinks Brianna gets into will relfect trouble she and I got into in grade school.)

saule77:

Aurelie,

thank you for the comments. I share my stories with people and hope that the things that have given me joy to write will bring joy to those who read them. I've been having a rough time lately, lost a dear aunt, and your heartfelt reply touched me. I am so very glad that your friends enjoy my work, and you are right, there are SO many great stories on the Pens.

I will try to live up to the praise you've shower me with. You more than did me justice.

Thank you.

miawillow:

I'm doing my best to kick life back. ;-) Thanks for thinking of me.

I've tried to keep Bre and Dawn slow, and you are right, they both have a lot going on. When people jump into a relationship at times like that, disaster follow. Not that I would do anything with a disaster in it.

Brianna is a mix of her mommies, as is Megan. Hope you enjoy Megan as much when she gets older.

The Maclays have several more surprises in store for us!

Urn of Osiris:

the CoT is a happy place.

The bed thing with Willow and Ceri worked perfectly... afterall, our girls are together.

You may want to light a candle at the CoT... I have many plans for the clan Maclay, and as for B/D, don't forget... Dawn is due back at school. ;-)

And... much magic in store for our girls.

Thanks.

barnabasvamp:

I also like grown up Dawn... too bad we only see her in fan fic.

The morning will be full of secrets revealed. Bumpy? wait and see...

but first...W&T happy times. ;-) Thanks for posting.

captmurdock:

Brianna does call them like she sees them...wonder what she will see with her maclay kin?

The master plan... I think both W&T enjoyed the final outcome.

And the chocolate ice cream... well, there are just SO many uses for ice cream that are not in any cookbook. ;-)

The powers and Maclay questions will be addressed. And thank you for showing me one of your favorite sections... I love knowing which parts people like best.

Grimaldi:

I'm glad people are enjoying the Bre/Dawn stuff...makes me so happy I have the plans I do. It's no "Master plan" but it will be fun. Kaley does have issues, but she is a good guard, just maybe not a good Imbolc guard. :-) Do you really think Tara would NOT go to her father? Thanks for bring up some good points.

Oriyon:

I sent the chapter to you. I hope you enjoy it.

Peggy of Sunnydale:

I think WIllow pretty much forgave Tara before she ever came home. She just needed to make Tara squirm. I don't think Tara is going anywhere without a dozen guards. Don't forget, Brent put Tara on restriction. ;-) Thank you so much for writing.

BigMac:

Thanks for the feedback. Bre and Dawn will move at a painfully slow pace. You'll be begging me to hurry soon.;-) The talk about the power is coming, and Kaley doesn't have to go to Sunnydale to see Buffy...the slayer is already at the sanctuary. Bre moving in wont help Dawn. Dawn is due back at med school soon, so they'll have to pine for each other long distance. ouch.

lostsoul:

this one was a bit mellow... as will the start of the next. I want you to rest up for what comes after. : -->>: -)

Brianna and her blurting out things may not be such a great thing soon...

Thanks for taking time to reply.

Grimlock72:

Grimmy...I'm afraid I am giving family a bad name. At least we have sweet grandma Brent.

Thank you for noticing that the keepers *were* hanging out. That certainly can't be good. ;-)

I think Willow has matured, but she still has the childlike streak that loves master plans. Plus, she hasn't shared Diana's latest concerns with Tara. That just may bite her in the cute behind. ;-)

Dawn is allow to wave her credentials around...she's barely a doc and still a baby in the med world. Give her time to grow into her career. :-)

The Maclays... well, I already said a lot about them... I don't want to reveal too much. Stay tuned.

As for Kaley, Brent has talked to her, and Kaley hasn't been the official guardian for Tara, Willow, or Brianna. She's been kept at arms length. That might be far enough away once Willow lays into her. Kaley isn't a bad warrior, just troubled.

W&T both in mage-o-pause may convince most of the Imbolc Guard to take valium...

I checked my email... nada! Stop teasing me and send me cyber goodies! ;-)

-----

Thanks everyone. The Kittens are the best.

I'm off to bed now. I worked late and my pillow is calling. Good night!

Booohoo :cry , mail resend... based on your comments I'll guess it will a good night then, heh. Just had this thought floating around of accidental power transfer, probably enough wetness around :D . Willow would be scared out of her mind though, which wouldn't be good. I wonder if they have a Dark Magic detection spell over the sanctuary ? Should be fun if it picks up such magic right inside the Imbolc house : -->>:

Willow's going to have a hard time trusting herself with magic again :( She's likely more afraid of herself and what she might do more then anything else. Even though the last accident was what...10/11 years ago ? I hope Brent is smart enough to have Willow practice/train in a room with less valuable books/objects in it. I hope Will sticks to flaming-only, she knows a lot more dangerous spells.

It's kinda worriesome the sanctuary actually NEEDS a spell checking outbound traffic. Reminds me of some specialized hospitals and prisons a bit :-). Besides, it's not impossible to slip out anyway if one is determined enough.

I wonder if Tara and Willow still think becoming a mage is gift, seems more like a curse to me.

Enough worrying for now :D .

First I dont think bieng a butch is a bad thing so you do what you want because you are the best Fan Fic writer ever!

Second Thank you for the Pronunciation of Ceridwen's name I feel as though I am not doing your stories justice if I cant even pronounce the names the way they should be!

Ceri's Partner Brigh (pronounced with a hard "g"??):confused

Brigan, Brigh, Brigandu, Bre, Brent I cant keep them straight (not like I can keep anything straight) I have read Unexpected Concequences 3 times and Milestones 3 times as well and still I get them confused I need Cliff Notes!

I can imagine how hard it is for you to write them!

Third Thank you for writing these characters I love them as much as Willow Tara Brianna and Megan! I love that Dawn is going to ge a lesbian!

Glad to have you back Lisa.

Wow what a chapter. Donnie and the clan, that was really out of left field. But now I can't wait to see Tara stand up to Donnie, and put him in his place. Tara's really going to be torn, with all the bad blood between her family, and the need to be with her ill father. Too many emoitions all at once.

And really, could it have come at a worse time.

Gee, you are good Lisa, got me thinking of the major angst to come.

And loved the Dawnie stuff. Is this Lesbian stuff catching? Anyway, I caught it long ago, so doesn't really matter. Just makes interesting reading.

Good evening.

I tried to get a chapter up tonight, but that just isn't happening. Then I looked at a story I wrote last year and never posted. I figured, I could post that as a kind of special of the week- an entire story, complete, and over 200 pages. ;-) But, when I read it over... and it has three chapters left to go and it's really angsty, even for me. So, I'll let that one sit until I finish Milestones, and then I can add a happy ending to the other one. ;-)

Thank you for all the feedback. I'm off to bed. Damn flu!

Sweet dreams everyone.
