"Do you remember this Baby"the words were spoken slowly, quietly, passion in its truest form.

The breath that touched her ear sending chills through her body, striking her in the place that set her on fire.Fingers now moved slowly downward, pressing through the silk nightgown and finding the fire there.

She gasped desperately and lean back."Yes, yes I remember."she answered back in a whisper.

She rolled her head to the side, hoping Willow would accept the invitation and taste the spot on her neck that would ignite her even more.

"Do you want me ? Tell me.I want to hear it."Willow whispered in her ear as she slowly moved her mouth down and found the sweetest of spots on her lovers throat.Her lips found the spot and she slowly pulled the flesh there into her mouth and began to gently bite at it as her tongue press it down causing an exquisite sensation that caused Tara to release a desperate shaking breath.

"Please, I can't..."Tara panted out.

Willows hands now were on the move.They were slowly moving up her stomach, pressing in lightly and dragging the thin material of Tara's slip up with them.

"What, what can't you do baby?"

Willow now held the gown bunched up at Tara's middle .She used one hand to hold it in place as the other now ran down the length of Tara's leg and landed behind one knee.She slowly
careessed it , sliding it around to the inside of her thigh raised the leg up and placed Tara's foot flat on the chair next to the wall they where they were standing

"Can't let me do this to you ?"Willow whispered as her hand know slide upward and came in diect contact of Tara's center.

"Yes..do that , please do that.I want you to.I need you to."Tara whispered out, her head falling backward and landing on Willow's shoulder.

And she did. She moved her fingers up and inside and Tara let out a scream.as she pressed both hands against the wall in front of her too help her to stand.

"Ohh yea. You like that don't you baby.You love how I do this to you don't you?"

"Mmm God, yes.I love it.I love you."Tara panted out.

Willow lean a little forward now and pressed herself up against Tara's back .

She closed her eyes in concentration .Her head turned sideways and she pressed her cheek against Tara's back as she began to increase the rythm.

The feel of Willow's breath against her back was sending waves of sensation down her spine to her very center.

She pulled a hand off the wall and pressed it to Willow's and held it there as she took over the task of the movement, thrusting herself backward and then forward .

The feeling of Tara's ass as it rocked against Willow's center was causing her to move faster against her .

Her hips now playing a part in the movements as well.She stopped moving and Tara moaned a disapproval."Willow, no don't stop please.Why.."

She pulled out of her and Tara cried"Noo please why are you stopping,Willow why?"

She didn't answer the question, she just placed both hands on Tara's shoulder's and slowly dragged the dressing gown as she began to nibble on one shoulder, and slid the slip down her arms.

She bent down and lifted Tara's foot up for a moment to take the gown away and toss it across the room.

She then took har place back against Tara and leaned in to her .A hand worked its way back down and she was once again inside of her.

"Oh yes , thank you , thank you Willow.I need it .I need this so badly."She was moving with Willow now pressing her body back against Willows and she felt a hand slide up and wrap around a firm tight breast.Willows fingers squeezed it non to softly and Tara cried out in pleasure.

"That's what you like isn't it Baby.This is what you like me to do for you.Just like this."

She was pushing herself into Tara and Tara lurched forward with every thrust from Willows body.And arm flailed wildly behind her till she found Willows head and pulled her mouth down to her own.She thrust her tongue violently into Willows mouth and Willow grabbed hold of it with her teeth lightly

She held the tip still and her own tongues tip teaseTara's as she began a more fevered pace.

Tara's hand reached down and pressed in between Willow's legs.
"Ohh yes. That's how I taught you isn't it.Do you remember baby? "If your ready."

"Yes, yeah I'm ready.I don't really care anyway.So yeah."Willow said.
"Willow, don't you dare talk like that to me.Don't.Of coarse you care.Do you know honestly why Tara left? Do you?"

"Yes. I do. The same reason anyone would.I mean she twenty eight years old mom.What's she going to do? Take care of me the rest of her life?

God, she rides horses , she's a forest ranger, she jogs every morning. What will I do? What? Get her a matching scooter and chase each other around the house? No, I don't think so.I wouldn't do that to her even if..."Willow stopped

"Even if what Willow?"Sheila asked.

"Even if she didn't leave.I don't want to burden her with this It's not fair to her."Willow said quietly.

You haven't even done the test yet Willow.I think it's a little early to start ending your connections to everyone you love.Do you think that Tara left because of this? Is that what you believe?"

"She wouldn't even look at me. She wouldn't even.."She was crying now.
"Willow, you can't do this. You can't.You need to want to get well or you won't.I think you need to let me go and talk to"

"NO.Don't you dare do that.I think this is the best way for this to go anyway. Even if you think you could change her mind , or whatever shrink thing you have in mind, I don't want it.I don't want to ruin her life.I can't.I love her too much."

"Okay Willow. If that;'s what you want then that's what I'll do."Shelia answered shaking her head."I'll go and tell them you want to do this now then .Okay?"

"Thank you."

Tara sat on the edge of the bed. She was staring at the phone in her hand and her mind was racing with too many thoughts all at once.She had dialed six of the seven numbers at least a dozen times but somehow the ability to hit the last number and hit send was a task of major proportions.
"What am I going to do?How can I do this.I don't know how to do this".She spoke aloud as she began to cry.."I don't think I can live without her"

She placed the phone down on the bed and put her head in her hands..
She made the decision and picked up the phone again.She was about to call Willow when she heard a knock at the door.

She got up too answer the door and when she opened it there was a woman standing there.

"Hi. Im Susan and Im a friend of Willow's.I was just at the hospital with her and she asked me to come by here and pick up some food that she has here for Millo."

Tara knew who this was,She knew the name and her heart sank.
"She...she sent you here for...for Millos things?"She was shaking now and she thought she might lose herstomach contents.

"Yea , Sheila would have come but I think she was afraid to leave Willow there.Shes a little pissed off at you I think also.Willow is a mess and well..I think you get the picture right?I have to say I agree.You have got to be some kind of a , I don't know ,Monster comes to mind to leave her like that.I suggest you stay away from there.Willow needs to get well and you wont help her.So if you would please just give me Millo's things I'll go before I say something I'll regret."




She pulled into the station and went inside.

"Can I help you?"Marco asked

CHAPTER SIX
She was numb. That was the only word she could think of to describe what had just happened.

It was her own fault.She knew that.She knew that when she ran away from her Willow in the hospital.

She just had been so close to the call.She was so close to telling her what was really happening in her mind but she had missed her chance.
If she could have explained to Willow that she was sorry for sending her for the wine.Sorry for being angry at her for being late.


She was lying now again to herself.This is not what was causing her numbness.It was something else.

It was Susan.She had sent Susan here for Millo's things.She now found a small relief in the fact that she had not made the call now.It took some of the sting away somehow.It didn't last long.The relief was all to breif.

She would go to the hospital again.She had something she needed to say to Willow.

She wanted to tell her that she was sorry.Sorry that she had done this to her.Asure her that she understood her anger and that she would not blame her for any of the decision she would make about their relationship.That she would be there for her if she ever needed her.
She wanted to tell her that she still loved her.

She was thinking about how they had met.How she had been so determined that last night after they had found Joss to make her face up to how she felt. Admit that what she was afraid of was that she would up and desert her, leave her venerable and broken like that women had.Do to her what Susan did.

She had promised Willow that first night after they had made love that she would never hurt that way again.

She had lied to her.

She had done just what she had promised she would not do.
She had run away from her.Left har there, in what had to have been the most horrible of circumstances possible.Unsure of what was going to be her future.Unsure as to whether or not she would ever get out of that bed and walk under her own power.

She had sat there and watched the pain this women, this wonderful, beautiful , giving and trusting women had gone through over the simple task of changing her dressings.

She had held her hand, looked into her eyes and tried to help it ease.

Willow was not angry at her for this and she knew this.

It was her guilt that caused this to happen.

She had to do this.She had to tell her Willow that it was not anything that was her doing.

Her decision was made.She stood up from her couch and made her way to the wall where her car keys hung.

She had made it there and was about to walk out the back door when she heard the phone ring.

"Hello?"Tara answered.

"Tara .This is Leo."

"What, what is it Leo ?Is it Willow ?Did something happen ?"She was panicking now.

She heard him scoff into the phone and said,"Sorry Tara.No such luck. I just wanted to tell you that I would be going to see Willow later and I will call you in about an hour to find out where you can send her things.If that's to long a wait I suppose you could go ahead and have them sent here."

Tara took a deep gulp,"What?"she asked as she began to shake.
"I said that I would call you and let you know where to send Willow's things.So now if you don't mind Im going to go and see how she is and I'll ask her where to send them.Was that slow enough for you? "He said callously.

"Umm,....yyy...ess That's fff..ine"she said.It had been ten years since Tara had stuttered and she now was beginning to cry."Tha...thank you."
She hung up the phone and her keys fell to the floor.She leaned back against the wall to keep herself steady because the call had just taken her breath from her.

It was done.They were finished.

She didn't even want to call her herself and tell Tara where to send her things.

"Oh God."She said to herself as she began to shatter into a million pieces.




"Okay now Officer Rosenberg.Were going to start with some reflex testing.I want you to tell me when you feel anything okay?"

"Okay."

The doctor took the blunt instrument from his lab coat and pressed it to the bottom of Willow's right foot.

He waited for a beat and when Willow didn't response he moved it up slowly.

Still nothing.

He moved it up a little farther and when he got to the point of where Willows toes were she said"I feel that."

"Good .That's good."

He pressed it down just a touch firmer and began to bring it down again.Then he saw it.

Her foot moved.Just barley , but it did move.

Sheila saw this and she let out a happy scream."Oh Willow.Your foot just moved."

"It did?"

"Yes honey it did."

She looked up at the doctor and Sheila noticed he did share her enthusiasm.

He said to her."Yes it did move.I think this is a wonderful sigh Officer Rosenberg."

He lifted Willow's leg up and bent it to the knee.

"Do you feel anything?"

"No."

"Okay, that's alright.Let's try this now."

He once again bent Willow's leg up but now he turned her foot outward as well.

"Anything?"

"No."

Then Sheila looked at the doctor and saw the concern in his eye's.
She remained quite though.

He let Willow's leg down now and began the same process with the other foot.

"I felt that Willow said as soon as the doctor pressed the instrument to her foot.

He smiled and said"Now that's very good news."

"Now we have a lot more test here that we need to do ,so, Im going to roll you on your side for a minute okay? It's going to hurt you a little Im sure but it is the only way to do this test and we are running out of time here.I need to see if we are going to need to go back in a check the spine and the longer we wait the worse it can be.So, are you with me here?"

"Yes, sure I'm fine .Let's do it."Willow answered.



Susan stood outside of Willow's room.She planed on knocking and trying yet again to get Willow to talk to her.

She heard Willow scream slightly and smiled.

She closed her eye's and forced the tears into her eye's and then bolted into the room.

"What's happening in here.What are you doing to her?"she yelled.
"I'm sorry, who are you"?"the doctor asked.

"Someone who's not welcome in here."Sheila answered.

What do you want? Why are you here again Susan?."Willow
said..

"Willow, Please.Just tell her to leave."Sheila answered.

"Susan,why are you here?"Willow asked.

"I just wanted to tell you I was sorry about earlier.I didn't mean to upset you about your girlfriend.Despite what you may think I've been worried about you.You should know that."Susan answered.

Sheila groaned and rolled her eye's.

"I know you didn't.Look, I'm really uncomfortable with you being here , so if you don't mind,can you just wait outside till we're done with this and then you can come back and talk to me afterwards?"Willow asked.

"Yes.Of course."Susan said as she looked at Sheila and smiled.
She then walked out of the room , out the door and took out her cell phone.

"Hey, It's me. Susan said to the person on the other line."Do you miss me?"

"I'm doing great.As a matter of fact, this is working out much better then I could have ever hoped for.."

Leo arrived at the hospital about ten minutes after he had spoken to Tara.
He was not at all looking forward to this.He knew how much Willow loved Tara.Hell they all loved Tara.

He couldn't believe how she had changed her tune.He would never have believed anything like this could happen.

They had all grown so close at the station this last six months.

He arrived at Willows room and he knocked at the door.

"Yes?"Willow said.

"Hey Willow." Leo said putting on a fake smile.

He walked across the room went down on a knee and kissed her on the forehead.

"How ya doing Red?"He asked.

"Well, I just got done doing a bunch of test here and to be honest, I don't really know yet.My mom and the doctor have gone outside to get some lab test and well you know my mom, she's following him all around the hospital I'm sure.I kind of feel sorry for him."Willow tried to smile, but it didn't work.

"To be honest Leo, I don't think it's very good news.I have feeling in the right foot and slight feeling in the left but up passed my ankle there's nothing on either leg. The doctor said that it could be just some temporary nerve damage caused from swelling ,but to be on the safe side they want to go ahead with the exploratory surgery tomorrow and I don't think Im even interested in doing that.I just don't see the point.

I don't feel anything so what's the point?If it's temporary it will go away and if it's not, at least I have a little while that I can pretend it might."
"I have something I need to tell you Willow.Tara sent someone to the station today. She came to...."

"Willow, It's me.Can I come in now?"It was Susan.

"Um yes, sure."Willow answered.

She walked in and Said hello to Leo.

"Hi, Im Susan."

"Hi.Nice to meet you."

"What were you going to say Leo?"

"It's about Tara."He said as he cleared his throat.

"What?"

"She sent someone to drop off Millo's things at the station today."He said.
Willow just stared straight ahead."You mean his food so you can feed him till she can pick him up or.?"

"No.No Willow.She's not picking him up.She dropped all of his things off."he said as he looked down at the floor.

"Huh...okay...I umm so will you guys take care of him till I or my mom can .."she was beginning to cry now.

Susan made her way across the room and took Willow's hand in her own."I'm sorry Willow.Should I leave?"she asked.

Willow pulled her hand away from her."Yes.Yes Susan please can you just go."

"Okay.I will.If you need anything, just call me okay?"

"Thanks but I don't think so Susan.I don't know what you're up to but I'm certainly not stupid."

"I'm not up to anything Willow.What have I done to make you think I'm up to something?"she then turned to walk out.

"I'm sorry Susan.I'm just not doing great right now.So I ..iI will call if I need anything.Thanks."

"Willow there's something else.She wants to know where to send your stuff."

Susan stopped now and turned around."What?"she said in a voice sounding pained.

"Why are you still here?"Willow yelled now.

"I heard what he just said Willow.I'm not going to leave you now with no one.I don't care what you tell me.You know how I still feel about you."
"I don't know a damn thing about you Susan.I don't want your help."

"Please.Willow.Just at least let me help with your things.I can bring them to your place or you can store them at mine.Just let me help.You'll never see me again.I just want to help you."she said crying.




Tara sat on the floor still.She hadn't moved from the spot.She held her hands tightly around the phone and just stared straight ahead,
The phone rang and it startled her and she shook her head.She answered,"Hello."she said.

"Tara? It's Leo.I'm calling for Willow.She said that she is sending someone by to get her things over there in a bit.I'll be there after shift to help as well.So if you could possibly start to pack them it would be helpful."

She took a deep swallow."Yes.Sss..ure.What ttt.ttime?"

"Susan should be there any minute and give me a couple of hours."

"Okay."She hung up before she could wait for an answer and stood up to go and pack up Willow's things from the bedroom.

Hi there! So glad to see you updated, even though it made me go "grrrrr" all the way through. Damn, I wish someone would get a clue and throw her lying ass out of the state, and double damn, Tara was almost going to talk to Willow. And that's what they need -- communication just between themselves so the truth will be known. I guess we'll just have to wait to see what other torture you have in mind for us before everything gets straightened out though.

CHAPTER SEVEN
Tara heard the knock on her door and she closed her eye's to take in a deep breath.

She made her way downstairs and when she opened the door Susan was standing there with her amrs folded .She was a strikingly attractive woman with long black hair and dark green eye's.Tara immediately felt herself sink back to her high school days where she was teased and taunted mercilessly for all the years she could remember.

She lifted her sunglasses from her eye's and gave Tara the once over.She snapped her gum and said,
"Jesus honey , you look like shit."

Tara just stared down at the ground and winced to herself.She knew the woman was right.She felt like shit so she was sure she looked that way to.

"So, let's get this done.Willow wants me back there before she goes to sleep tonight and I promised I would be.She's looking at another surgery and she can't do it alone.I need to be there."

Tara nodded to the woman and pointed toward the stairs.She didn't dare risk talking because she knew she would end up stuttering over every word and she didn't want to be humiliated anymore than she was already.
She followed Tara up the stairs and looked around the house as she made her way up.

She saw pictures that lined the walls of Tara and Willow and they shot a pang of jealousy through her.

There was one that she eyed with particular interested .It showed a crying Tara on a chair as a smiling Willow was placing a locket around her neck. The picture that followed showed Shelia with her arm around Tara and she realized this was a birthday of some sort. She worked this in her mind and spoke.

"She wanted me to be sure to get a locket from you? She said you would know what I was talking about."

Tara stopped dead and turned around.Her hand immediately flew to her chest as she grasped the locket in her hand.

"She wants the l-l.l-l-.ocket b-b-b-back?"she stuttered out with barely a breath.

Susan laughed and her head fell backwards"What did you say?"

Tara groaned inwardly and tried again ,.She closed her eye's and turned to face the woman now.

"I said does she want the l-l-l-ocket b-b-ack."she swallowed hoping the girl woundn't ask her again.She felt as though she was going to pass out now and she just wanted her gone as soon as possible.

Susan laughed again and said,"God, That's just so attractive.Willow never could resist the strays.You're pathetic though. Really.I'm really suprisedf she ever slept with you."she said looking her up and down once more.

Tara just walked on ahead.

It took about an hour before they had finished with Willow's personal belongings.

She had been bothered by what Susan had said about the surgery and as much as It would embarrassed her to speak she had to ask."What is the s-s-s-surgery for, for, Willow?"she said as she kept her eye's downward.

"Why? Are you going to pretend you care now? Go visit or something?I can't believe you.She almost didn't have this surgery because of you and now you want to go down there and talk to her?Ha..Your just unbelievable."she scoffed.

"I -Iam not go-going down there I just w-w-want to know what it is."Tara said.

"Well I tell you what T-T-T-Tara.I'll go down there now and ask Willow if it's okay for me to say, and if she says it is I'll call and tell you.

But for now? Stay away from her."Susan said as she eyed Tara again.
"Now give me the locket and I;ll leave."she said as she reached her hand out.

Tara looked at her almost pleadingly.She didn't want to give it up.It was engraved with both of their names and there was a picture of the two of them inside.She had no choice.Willow wanted it and she wanted what was best for her.

Slowly she reached behind her neck and undid the clasp.She held it for a minute and handed it to Susan and then the tears came.

"I-if you don't mind, I wa-..want you to leave here n-n-now"Tara said eye's down.

"No problem darlin'.I wouldn't want to stay here with you any longer then I have to.That's for sure."Susan laughed and walked down the steps with the last of the boxes.

Roger Tyler had arrived at just the right moment it would seem.He had heard about what had happened to Willow and wanted to see why Tara hadn't show up for work for the last two days or even called.He knew this was not something she would do.

Before he could knock the door opened and Susan was now standing in front of him.

"Hi.I'm looking for Tara is she here?"

"Yeh.Hang on I'll get her for you."she smirked and went in again,"Tara, there's a guy here to see you.God, you move fast don't you honey? I can't wait to tell Willow this one."

Tara had enough now and she raised a fist a punched Susan in the mouth knocking her forward and over.

"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE !! NOW BEFORE I REALLY HURT YOU."Tara spat out at Susan.

Susan stood back up and wiped the blood from her lip and said,"Well , so much for the hurt little stuttery act .You are really a bitch you know that.I am also filing charges against you for assalt.I know just the person to talk to for that to."

"What's going on here Tara? Who is this woman?"Roger asked.

"It's W-w-w-illow's girlfriend apparently."she said as she broke down in tears again.

Susan made her way out of the driveway and stopped for a minute.She turned and made her way toward the oak that was in the front of the house.She put her phone up and began to take pictures of Tara and Roger as Roger was giving her a comforting hug.

She smiled to herself and walked back to her car and started the ignition.



"Willow,honey?"Shelia said.

"Yes.What mom?"

"Why was Susan here again?"

"She came to apologize for earlier."

"No, Willow.Susan did not come here to apologize.she may have said that , but that's not why she was here."

"Why do you say that?"Willow said a touch of anger in her voice.

"Because I know her.Willow, she was smirking at me.I know what she is doing and I don't like it.I think you need to call Tara and find out the story.I don't think this is right what's going on here.And what's worse is I don't trust that woman.I know what she did to you before.She'll do it again and this time I won't sit around and watch it happen like last time."

"It's not going to happen again Mom.I have no intention of getting back together with Susan.She is just helping me with some thing is all.I won't see her again after this."

"She's helping you with what Wilow? Please don't tell me you have asked her to do something for you."

"She went to Tara's to pick up my things.Well some of them anyway.Leo and some of the guys are going to get the other stuff later."

"What?What do you mean pick up your things?Oh Lord Willow,don't tell me you sent that woman to see Tara?You haven't even called her to see what the truth is yet.I know your going through a hard time here Willow but , my God, your talking about Tara here.She doesn't have a hurtful bone in her body.What ever is happening here is not Tara's doing and I know that."

"You don't know anything Mom."Willow shouted."She sent someone to the station to drop off Millo's things.She told Leo to call her and find out where to send the rest of my stuff.I think it's pretty clear what she wants .I get it.We're done.It's better this way anyway."

"When did this happen?"Shelia asked shock covering her face.

"When you where out with the doctor.Leo came and told me."

"Who was the woman that she sent Willow? Did you ask?"

"No, I don't care who it was.Why would I ask?"Willow asked quietly.

"Because like I said,I don't trust Susan."Shelia said her voice raised slightly.

"Willow?Can I come in?"it was Susan.

"Oh shit,you've got to be kidding me."Shelia said looking in Susans direction.

"STOP IT MOM! "Willow yelled.

"I'm sorry.I'll come back" Susan said as she turned to walk out.

"No, it's okay.You can come in.What is it Susan?"Willow asked.
"It's nothing really.It's justTara asked me to make sure you got this personally."

She handed Willow the locket.

"Oh come on! Willow, this is insane.Tara wouldn't do this and you know it."Shelia yelled at her daughter.

"What are you talking about?"Susan asked.'"Tara left your daughter here at this time.Why are you defending her?Not only that , she has company over there if you get my meaning.

They were sitting outside on the porch swing when I got there hugging.A guy.I asked her about it and she hit me.I think he's a ranger as well.He had the uniform on.I am sorry to disappoint you Mrs.Rosenberg, but maybe for once you're wrong."Susan said trying to look hurt."I knew you wouldn't believe me so I took pictures for you.I wasn't going to go here Shelia , but now you've forced me to.I knew you would do this.I did."

"You are full of crap Susan and I know it."Shelia said.

No one had noticed that Willow had not said a word.She sat there , the locket in her hand."Roger Taylor.Thats who it was.I don't need to see the pictures Susan.I don't want to see them.As a matter of fact, I think I want to be alone.I don't want either of you hear right now so if you would just both please leave me alone for a while I would appreciate it."Willow said quietly.

Shelia was still in shock.She couldn't believe what she was seeing and hearing.Something wasn't right and she would find the truth. She would get to the bottom of this.That was for sure.


Tara sat on the swing as Roger held her.She had been crying for a good thirty minutes straight now and finally Roger spoke up.

"Hey Tara, what do you say we go on and take the horses up the trail a bit.I know that's always something that makes you feel better."He said smiling.He was a good friend of Tara's.He hated to see her this way.

"You mean your actually willing to get on a horse and ride with me? I'm surprised after what happened last time."Tara smiled a little at the memory.

"Yeah, well this time I'll ride Mavrick.That Juju doesn't like me one bit.I learned that after she threw me the second time."

Tara laughed a bit"Don't feel bad.She doesn't like men at all.As a matter of fact it would seem she wants me all to herself. She is a very dedicated to me .So yes, I'll ride Juju, you ride Mavrick then okay?"

"Let's go then."he said as they walked toward the barn.

Sheila went out to her car and took out her cell phone and dialed Tara's number.She knew Willow would be angry at her but at this point she just didn't care.She got the answering machine and hung up without leaving a message.She would drive over there and talk to her in person.She put her keys in the ignition and started her car.

Susan watched as Sheila pulled out of the lot.She took her phone out and made a call.

"Hey Baby.I need a favor"she said smiling.

First Sheila talks to Tara. Bitch doesn't manage to hurt Sheila. Tara rides Juju naked and bare back. Sheila and Tara talk to Willow. Willow recovers slowly but surely. And then the fight in the story will just to get better for willow and to manage her life.

Something there is no in the plot I think. Well I understand though. Willow recovering fast s better than slowly. Except for the Angst part.
