Attention Fanfic Writers

I would like to THANK all the fanfic writers that are keeping the love of Willow and Tara alive. This has been a trying and dark time with all that is going on with the show and I am glad that you are all keeping the light and love going. So without further ado, I say to all the fanfic writers and everyone who creates poem, songs, art, wallpapers, video, and other Willow/Tara stuff........THANK YOU and KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK. It is you guys that give me and my girlfriend hope.

My sig says it all but I know of many writers who are not going anywhere. There are ongoing fics. There are new fics in the pipelines. Some others people who may well be coming back to writing. New writers are emerging despite all that is happening. I know this for fact. Whatever else happens... Pens will live on in it's wonderful and unique way.



Those that have to stop... I can understand that and respect it. I wish you the best and hope you can still visit... But me, well as long as there is a single reader giving my feedback fix then I will be here.

I too would like to add my thanks to the wonderful fic writers on the pens board. For me I must say that I get more enjoyment/pleasure from reading these stories, than I been getting from the actual show, which is something I never would of believed before. I enjoy angst, obstacles needed to overcome, and etc., but I always hope the journey is worth it in the end. With this in mind, ME/Joss might not agree with my idea of what a journey means, but I know I can trust the writers at pens to follow this path (ie W&T at the end happy and in love). So thanks to all the fic writers out there, your stories are greatly appreciated!

And yeah - it seems the best way to stay positive right now is to remember that we'll always have Pens. This place, and W/T love 24/7, lives on as long as we make it. Here's a short excerpt from a Gershwin tune, because, well, I'm schmulzy and I love Gershwin:

If it wasn't for the wealth of incredible writing on this board, I don't think I would have been inspired to actually try and write. But I was inspired, by the 'wonderfulness' of W & T and the amazing talent of all the writers, poets, video makers and artists.

I also will add my thanks to all the writers I've enjoyed reading. It really has been more satisfying to read what is written here than the stuff on the show. It's nice to see that someone still remembers what a good story is and how the characters should act.

Simply put, there has *never* been enough Willow and Tara. Which is a major reason (probably *the*) this board exists. Now it is up to us (at least for now--I'm not without hope).

Well, I recently wrote a one-shot fic particularly in response to the current canon storyline. So I know quite well how much it's needed.



I'm working on another fic, longer and more drawn out. I have no idea if it'll ever get finished and posted, but I'm giving it my best shot.



Because W/T deserve it. And that's the only reason I need.
