Re: The Edge of Silence - Chap 6h: The Things I Cannot See

Postby Darcy » Sat Nov 09, 2002 1:40 pm

You're not gonna let her beat me up, are you? Honey?

OK, she promised to defend me, but since real life seems to be getting in her way at the moment ....

I'm the beta reader (and research partner). Yes, I delayed this last update - it's all my fault. I felt there were some characterizations that were off-base and needed to be rethought. I think it came out much better after the rewrite, naturally. Unfortunately you'll have to take my word for it (and maybe hers), since no one but us ever sees the earlier versions.

I almost never object to content when I beta, so this was an unusual update in that respect. Mostly I look at spelling, grammar, punctuation, word choices, and so on. I also drive her nuts over things like making sure that none of the characters has suddenly acquired a third hand in the heat of the moment. The fact that my questions often require further research is just a coincidence and completely irrelevant. Really. Completely. OK, stop that snickering.

WooHoo. Two updates! Tara and her friends are so nice, making sure Jo doesn't feel out of place at the dance. Great fun, as always.

Yay! Great update. Too bad the monster got the wrong girl. Would have liked to have seen the vamp get ripped apart ... I'm morbid that way :p

I really like how you've explored Jo's approach in contrast to Willow's. I'd like to see Willow at the next dance ... could be very entertaining, but the timing seems ... interesting.

And Darcy, I'm sure that all that research is necessary to figure out if the third hand is possible :) Research is, after all, important.

Nice update as always :)

Like others said, it's nice to have important characters besides Willow and Tara, and now I'm all "Go, Jo!" :bounce

Once again, Tara is so nice and sweet and... I WANT A TARA! :miff

Also, I liked Tori, I hope you'll write more of her :p

And since I know there'll be smut in the next update, I won't even beg and instead I'll just sit here, patiently waiting... :whistle

Fun update as always, well, except for the head smashing part of course. : I really love getting to see all these different sides of Tara. Her whole character was just so wasted on the show. But I'm not bitter. I'm too young to be bitter. :happy

Hey, Mel, :wave :kiss

How are you??

Forgive me for my tardiness with my feedback? :pray

I am really enjoying your, "Superstar." Hee... so much! Too bad we couldn't have some more behind the scenes stuff with our girls. Makes you wonder what they really did, when we didn't see them on screen. I'll just assume they did all these wonderful thing. ;)

Jo... you know, I'm really, actually liking her. It's all your fault. Yours alone. :) So... she's finally met someone? Huh? I hope things work out for her and Danielle, then maybe she can leave our girls alone and get her own smoochies on. Danielle seems like a sweet girl.

You know, I so knew that Sarah was a vamp. Especially when you described her cold hand, even before you described Jo touching her cross. I wonder what will happen to her. I'm assuming she will be seen again, since she was mentioned more than once? :hmm Very interesting.

I really loved the image of Tara stumbling into her dorm room, breathless, and then seeing Willow. :heart That was very sweet.

I'm voting for Tara talking Willow into going to one of the dances before the fic is over. Is it okay to be hopeful? I'd really to see everyone's reactions to our sweet Wills.

Hmmm... I wonder what Tara and Willow will be doing in that dorm room? :whistle

Again, I am SO loving this and can't wait for more. More soon? Please?? I need some W/T lovin'.

OH, BTW, hey Darcy. :wave

Thanks, Mel. Take care, girl,

Melissa,

These dance chapters are making me all nostalgic for my early lesbian bar/dance experiences, all of which were painful and awkward beyond measure. Oh, except for the lesbian vampire part—I’m not nostalgic for that. Just for the rest of it. I’m glad to see Jo being taken in hand by these other women—for dancing, and of course it’s nice to see Willow turn up in the end after all…there’s an admission in that, isn’t there? It’s not exactly a profession of love or an act of coming out, but it’s a step, and it’s great to see it. Thanks!

Hi there.

Skittish ol' me took forever to try this fic - I'm weird that way - but I'm sure glad I did. It's been stimulating :drool , it's been very educational :eyebrow , and a darn good read to boot :grin .

We've got major secondary characters and a cracking plot (which still has canon wrapped around it, amazingly enough), incredibly hot sex, and wonderful delving into the Big Issues®.

So, hey, I'm all caught up. Now what? :confused

Feedback - Chap 6h: The Things I Cannot See

Postby Triscuit7 » Tue Nov 12, 2002 6:15 pm

Hi Kittens. I'm here for some thank yous and then I'll post the new part.

jdcioffi

Hey JD. Heehee – you’re absolutely correct about Willow at an Alliance meeting. My god, she’d set them on their collective ear or die of embarrassment. Of both. Glad you’re enjoying. Thanks.

darkmagicwillow

Hey there. Tara’s love for Willow is like a bright light. She just radiates it. As for Sarah, definitely a vampire and I’m glad that the hint was neither too obvious or too obscure. And yes, Honor Harrington will take up all of your time if you let her. They are fun reads, aren’t they? I have to confess that the secondary characters are now my favorites, esp. Shannon Foraker. Thanks for reading.

LeatherQueen

Hi sweetie. Yes, Jo has found a girl to dance with and maybe other stuff, ahem, down the way. Thanks.

barnabasvamp

Hey BV. Jo and Danielle, the klutzy dork and a woman of mystery – patience, all will be revealed. Thanks again.

xita

Hi sweetie. Willow is in the closet and Tara can’t admit it – you are sooo correct. And the women at the dance are sooo nice, Willow would be immediately welcome, but … she has such “issues”. Thanks.

MadeinNZ

Hey Nicky. Chocolate-y goodness without chocolate which means it was also low in calories? I’m really happy here that you “liked” the vampire’s characterization and that I finally converted you to Jo fanhood. As for the sexiness of Willow waiting in Tara’s room, well, we’ll just have to wait and see. : -->>:

Insanity

Hey. “Breathing” is very important, yes. :grin Thanks.

hondosfirst

Hello minion mine. Another update will be forthcoming, just be patient and cease threatening my beta. Besides I find that bribes work better than threats with her. Thanks for reading.

mollyig

Hi. Poor Kat indeed. But as for the rest of your comments, well, I’m afraid I have to try your patience just a bit. Thanks again.

Darcy

Hi sweetie. I really did plan to defend you, but you know how it is with chat and paperwork and writing and, um, other stuff. Sorry, love, but I think you handled your defense far better than I ever would. :)

Murasaki

Hi. So you’re reading them back to back now too? Can you imagine Tara having friends who weren’t nice? Thanks for reading.

LostSoul

Hey. Wow! Ready for the NC17, are you? Hmmmm, let me see where I put that. Thanks again.

tommo

Hi Ruth. I know exactly how it is with Jo and the … breaking in. Just hang on, it will come. Thanks.

tiredsoul

Hi Celia. Glad you enjoyed this part. As for the monster getting the wrong girl, well, see Sarah has a certain appeal too – in a thoroughly nasty way. Besides, she’s a wonderful way for me to vent as I decorate the store for Christmas. : -->>: So should Willow go to that dance? You’re right it would be very entertaining. Thanks for reading sweetie.

BFR from Paris

Hey Christine. Ooooh yes, go Jo! Everyone is hopping on the Jo bandwagon. As for Tori, well, we’ll see. Re: smut …. soon? Soon, yes, I promise. Thanks.

TromDeGrey

Hey. No, head smashing is not fun, I agree. Tara is complex here; glad you’re enjoying. Thanks for reading.

sing girl

Hi. That is more words than you usually post as feedback. And…Wow. Look at all the evil bouncing things. Btw, didn’t they used to be green? Thanks.

Jennpurr

Hiya Jen. Jo and smoochies. Hmmmm, might be possible. Darcy says hi back and we’re both fine, thanks. Thanks again for reading sweetie.

Tulipp

Hey Juli. OMG yes, “those” experiences were almost unbearable. I don’t think I can ever quite be nostalgic for them though. Willow showing up in Tara’s room … it’s a babystep, but it’s in the right direction. Thanks.

Kalita

Hey. I’m a big fan of weird myself – I’m sure we’ll get along just fine. Just hang out here every few days and read an update. And you know this whole “educational” thing is worrisome. Sort of. Kind of. :grin Thanks for taking a chance.

Puff

Hi sweetie. Oh, more computer problems among the Kittens. Glad you’re enjoying this, both the canon parts and the extra characters. Thanks again.

The Edge of Silence Chap 6i: The Things I Cannot See

Postby Triscuit7 » Tue Nov 12, 2002 6:30 pm

Hey Kittens

As promised: One update for Tuesday evening.

Rating - NC17 for the bit at the end, the rest is PG-13 to R, for situations and violence.

Health Warning - no exceptional precautions necessary, sorry.

Anxiety Level 6-7

Romance Level - um, 9 or 10?

edited to add - There is a bit of a cliffhanger. :angel

Squick level 5

Anyway, have fun.

****

“Really? I mean, yeah, you gave me a key, but I didn’t know if you ….” Willow’s eyes widened as Tara crossed the distance separating them and laid two fingers on her lips.

“Shhhhh.” Smiling, Tara moved her fingers from her lips and brushed a lock of hair off her forehead. “I m-missed you. I’m glad you’re here.”

“You are?”

“I am.”

Two little words and Willow felt like she was going to explode. She felt her lips curve up and up as the smile climbed into her eyes, felt it reach her toes and make them curl. Had she ever been this happy? Gentle but strong hands drew her close. The full lips pressed against hers in a kiss as soft and delicate as silk. How could she have had any doubts?

“I missed you too,” she whispered as she held Tara close.

“C-Can you stay?”

She nodded. “Buffy went over to Riley’s, so I don’t even have to make any excuses.” Various scents tickled her nose and she inhaled, trying to identify them. “You smell good.”

Tara chuckled and released her. “It’s the incense.”

“Your fingers smell like apples.” She wanted to be held, but waited while Tara dropped her bag and removed her green sweater. “And, well, you smell like you, and I like that.”

“I prefer eau de Willow myself.” Tara grinned at her and reached for her hand.

“Oh! Oh.! I almost forgot! I brought you presents.” She dashed over to the chair and grabbed some magazines. “Jonathan helped us tonight, so I was able to get these. Some even have autographs.”

“Oh, that’s so cool! I can hardly b-believe that you w-went to school with him!” Holding them to her chest with one hand, Tara grabbed her hand and led her to the bed. “That is so awesome. That you know h-him, and that you’re my girlfriend. It’s like the six degrees of Kevin Bacon …,” she ducked her head shyly, “… only better.”

Willow’s body glowed with happiness. “Why don’t we cut out the pictures while I tell you about patrol?”

Tara skipped in place. “Yes!”

****

“How long have you known Tara?”

Jo sipped some of her Coke before answering Liz. “Well, she’s my next-door neighbor. I kind of met her on move-in day, but it wasn’t much of a meeting really. I said hi and she smiled and ducked her head. It was kind of weird.”

“What was weird?” Tori came up with Danielle, both slightly out of breath from dancing.

“Jo meeting Tara for the first time,” Liz explained, frowning slightly.

“Oh, I didn’t mean Tara was, just the whole move-in thing. She had all this stuff, but no one to help her with it except for the van guy and his helper.” Jo sipped again. “I mean, I flew here, so I don’t have a whole lot and didn’t need any help, but Tara didn’t have anyone to help her at all. No friends or family.”

“Not so weird, really, Jo,” Liz interjected.

“It happens, sometimes,” Danielle added. “Whole support structures can vanish, or aren’t there in the first place, or are rejected – by one side or the other.”

Jo became aware of a rather uncomfortable silence as Tori, Liz, and Danielle focused intently on the dancing. She watched Mei-ling and her girlfriend Traci dance, spinning around the floor, and wondered what she had missed … again. It was fairly obviously that Danielle had some history with Liz, and maybe with all of her evening’s dance partners. There had been an odd sort of awkwardness in all their interactions off the dance floor.

“That was an apology, by the way. Or as close as I can come to one.” Danielle spoke softly, barely audible above the music.

“Got that – but it should be me apologizing to you.” Liz spoke equally softly.

“No. It was me, entirely.” The brunette turned and faced Jo. “Can we dance now?”

Jo was a bit startled, both by the sudden question directed at her and by the abrupt subject change – not that she was had a clue what the earlier subject had been. She fumbled with her Coke and finally managed to set it down. “Uh, sure.”

Danielle’s hand closed tightly on hers as she led them onto the dance floor. The song’s beat was slow enough for them to dance close, which was what Danielle apparently wanted. Jo placed her hands carefully where she’d been shown but couldn’t relax. Not when her partner was trembling – although shaking was closer to the truth.

“Dani ….” She felt the head on her shoulder shift.

Her partner whispered in her ear. “Just give me a moment.”

“’Kay.” Jo held her close and swayed just off the beat of the music. When the song changed, became faster, she continued to hold her.

Finally her partner lifted her head, and with a great sigh looked her in the eyes. “You know how if you were given a wish and could change just one thing?”

Jo nodded, curious and a bit apprehensive.

“I know what I’d wish.”

“What?” She asked because Danielle seemed to want her to.

“I’d wish that I had met you two dances ago. Then maybe I wouldn’t have gotten so messed up. You’re sweet and quirky. I like you.”

As the words registered, Jo came to a complete stop. Very gently, Dani kissed her.

****

Tara basked quietly in the Willow-glow as they sat together on her bed trimming pics of Jonathan Levinson from the magazines for her ever-growing collage. She listened to the excitement in Willow’s voice and smiled. “Come on … you have fun. Admit it. Living the Scooby life.”

Willow gestured nonchalantly. “I was trying for a kind of stoic bravery.” She grinned sheepishly and confessed. “But, yeah, I mean it was very exciting, with the ceiling coming in and everything.”

Simultaneously they taped some of the cut-outs onto the wall.

“Oh, that’s a cute one.” She pointed at the one Willow had just taped up, then in a more serious tone, asked, “And Buffy? She was okay?”

“She was great.” Willow’s hands made a series of strange gestures. “Twang … poof.”

Tara frowned.

“That was the sound. Crossbow, vampire dust. I mean, she was a little cranky she missed that one vamp….”

She interrupted. “I kinda meant personally. That whole thing with Faith, that pretty much freaked me out, and I was just sensing it from a distance.”

“Oh,” Willow paused, suddenly understanding. “Well, yeah, I know she’s not over the thing with Riley sleeping with Faith. You know what I mean … Faith’s insides, in Buffy’s outsides, when her insides were out.

She continued to look concerned. “I hope they’ll be okay.”

“I’m sure it’ll blow over. They’re probably all with the smoochies right now.”

Tara considered that statement in silence for a few moments. She didn’t know the Slayer that well at all – certainly not like Willow did – but she had the impression that Buffy did not forgive easily. And given the angst Willow had described earlier, she was less optimistic about the probability of smoochies.

“Hey, quiet girl.” Willow interrupted her thoughts. “You okay in there?”

She smiled and nodded.

“’Cause I’d kinda like to hear about your evening, that is, if you want to talk about it, and if you don’t, well, we can do something else – or even just cuddle if you’re tired.” Willow’s eyes examined her, a small smile playing on her lips.

“Oh, I’m not tired.” Tara’s smile widened. “But why don’t I tell you while we cuddle?” She stood and began undressing.

“Naked snuggles?” Willow bounced a little on the bed.

“Of course.” Tara’s skirt dropped to the floor and she pulled her black top up over her head.

“Oh, goody.”

****

Sarah rummaged through the remnants of her interrupted dinner, her stomach growling. The damn thing had been very thorough, indeed. It looked like there was nothing left except splintered bones and shredded clothing. Hungry as she was, she wasn’t yet reduced to sucking blood from rags. Finally her hand closed on a mostly intact wallet.

She ducked back into the shadows, licking the smears from her hands, to explore the contents. Credit cards, ID – good. The money was a bit torn and dirty now, but she could get most of the blood out. She smiled and pocketed the whole thing.

Time to tidy up. She glanced around and then scooped Kat’s remains together into her jacket. They made a very small bundle. Now all she needed was one of Sunnydale’s ubiquitous storm drains and all of tonight’s evidence would vanish.

Just like she would … after she ate. And she knew just where to get dinner. One of the dance’s stragglers would do just fine.

Except this time there would be no playing with her food.

****

Jo trailed the group of close friends, not really sure what to do next. She wasn’t even holding Dani’s hand, although they were walking shoulder to shoulder. Dani had kissed her. Once. But it had felt wonderful! She stopped her hand’s motion halfway up to her lips. God, she was such a dork.

So, dancing and one kiss, but no hand-holding. OK, did that mean she should walk Dani back to her room? Should she ask her out? Should she kiss her goodnight? Should she invite her back to her room? She wanted to do all of those things, but ….

She looked at the backs of the women she’d danced with. They’d been fun to dance with, and hang out with, but she didn’t exactly feel comfortable asking any of them what to do next. Especially since any asking at this point would be right in front of Dani. They were all friends, obviously, and some were probably lovers. But she couldn’t tell from them or from their actions what she was supposed to do now.

All her experience was with boys, and she rather suspected that those rules didn’t necessarily apply here. And she sure as hell didn’t want a repeat of the Parker Abrams nightmare. She sighed.

She needed a guidebook.

“Hey.” Dani’s soft voice broke into her thoughts and caused the barest of ripples in the strides of the women in front of them. “My dorm’s coming up.”

Okay, now what?

“You’re in Stevenson?” Tori hung back to walk with them.

“Annex actually,” Dani clarified. “One of the cubbyhole rooms, unfortunately.”

Tori chuckled. “I’ve been in one of those. Tiny, tiny little rooms, but at least you don’t have to share – do you?”

“No, I don’t have a roommate,” Dani confirmed. Jo was surprised to see brown eyes flick sideways at her. So what did that mean exactly? Walk me there? Come into my parlor? What?

Jo surreptitiously wiped the palms of her hands on her cords and glanced at Tori. Who was smiling at her slightly.

“Uh, ….” Jo stared at Tori, willing her to give her the correct answer, and received a nod. “Can I .… Do you ….” Her voice squeaked and she closed her eyes in embarrassment.

“Yes.” Dani agreed.

Ooooh – K. Wonder what I asked?

Liz also dropped back and joined them as they came to the next intersection of walkways. “We’ll see you at the next dance?”

“Yes, you must come,” Mei-Ling insisted, walking backwards to stay with the others, “and make sure that Tara brings her Willow. March 25.”

“Uh, sure.” Jo agreed for herself, but caught Dani’s nod out of the corner of her eye. “But I don’t know if Willow will come. She’s sort of ….” Prickly and opinionated and really, really closeted all came to mind, but she hunted for a more flattering description.

“Willow sort of has her own way of doing things,” Dani supplied, and shrugged at the questioning looks. “I met her in the Wicca group.” She held out her hand, “Walk with me?”

Jo enfolded Dani’s hand in hers and felt her heart climbing upwards again.

“Later.” Tori smiled with a slight nod, and held out her elbow to Liz.

“Be careful,” Liz admonished, looping her arm within Tori’s as they sped up to catch the other women.

****

Sarah slipped through the shadows among the buildings and bushes, tracking her targets. She wished she could be less picky – less careful – but her caution was one of the reasons she’d lived so long.

A group of humans really wouldn’t be much of a problem, except that someone would scream and that would draw attention. She hated that.

Well, not the screaming. That was usually good. Attention, though – that was definitely bad. That meant couples were out as well.

Most of the single humans wandering around in the wee hours tonight were either careful or protected. She’d almost decided to risk screams when she recognized one of the women in the group she was following.

Her toy – and she had an invitation to that room. She could eat and tie up a loose end all in one go. Her night was beginning to look up. Grinning, she slipped back into the deeper shadows. She could even get there before the girl, be waiting for her….

“You know, in my experience, people lurking in the shadows are usually up to no good. But then, you’re not really people, are you? As in, not human.”

She looked up at the tall man. “Fuck you.”

“Ah, no, thank you. Did the whole evil thing last weekend – didn’t work out. In fact my girlfriend is still upset.” He stepped in front of her blocking her escape route. Something burbled and he pulled a cell phone from his belt. “Did you get the reading?” A pause. “Affirmative.” He grinned humorlessly at her. “You are sooo gonna make my day.” He slipped the phone back on his belt and lunged at her.

Twisting, she avoided him completely. Fast for a human, but not as fast as she was. He swung at her and she blocked it effortlessly. Strong, too – but again, not as strong as she was. “You are out of your league, little boy.”

He merely laughed, and dodged her first kick. The following kick he blocked with his arm. They traded a rapid series of blows and he was able to avoid or block most of them, until a sweeping kick took his feet out from under him.

She laughed, a bright cascade of sound. “Fool.” She lunged at him and stumbled, convulsing in agony as twin beams shot out of the shadows flanking her. The pain took her to her knees so that their positions were reversed. She stared up at him, bewildered and hurt.

“Yeah, that was what I was thinking,” was the last thing she heard before his fist slammed into her.

****

Jo’s heart thudded hard in her ears as she walked hand in hand with Dani to her dorm, to her room, to ….

“I just wanted you to walk me to my room.” Dani turned toward her. “I don’t expect anything else.”

“Oh.”

The brunette smiled again. “You’re really new at this, aren’t you? Not just the dancing, but the whole thing with girls.”

“Does it show?” Jo blurted out. Oh, god, maybe it had been in the newsletter after all?

“It’s very cute.” Dani gave her hand a squeeze. “I would like to see you again, if you’re interested.”

“Tomorrow? Or is that too soon?”

“No, tomorrow sounds nice.” Dani’s smile broadened. “Why don’t we have coffee?”

“At the Espresso Pump?”

“Mm-hm.”

Jo shivered. That was a nice noise. “What … What time?” Her voice squeaked again.

They were almost at the Annex.

“Four sound good? We can talk, maybe catch an early movie?” Dani stopped at the door to the building.

“It’s a date.” Jo agreed, then faltered. “I mean, it is, isn’t it?”

“It’s a date, yes. I’ll meet you there.” Dani squeezed her hand, openly grinning now, and released it. “Goodnight, Jo.”

“Night.” Jo watched the brunette pull the door open and vanish inside. Sighing, she plunged her hands into her pockets and turned back up the walk.

She grinned suddenly. She had a date. With a girl!

****

Willow slid her hand between Tara’s legs and parted her lips. Her fingers slipped easily through the wetness.

“Mmmmm, yes,” Tara moaned, her back arching.

She smiled and positioned herself on Tara’s thigh. Bending her head to the beautiful full breasts, she began to rock.

There was no hurry; they had all night.

I'm trying to think of something intellectual and articulate to write so you know how much I'm enjoying your story and I keep coming up with "cool dude". So I think we can nix the whole intellectual and articulate thing. I soo don't have the vocabulary.

And you're giving us two stories for the price of one (I'm not sure Anya would approve).

The Willow Tara exchanges were sexy as usual. A promise of things to come. I really felt for Willow when she was suprised that Tara wanted her to stay. Its the whole 'this is too wonderful, she can't care for me in the same way I care for her' thing. So you keep saying things like "Really?" and "You are?".

I think I might apply to be treasurer of the 'I Love Jo' club. Cause she was bordering on Willow cute in this chapter. Favourite line -

Jo... sweet sweet Jo. :grin That was so awesome! And a kiss.... hee! I LOVED this part. But I bet you knew that, eh?

But god... naughty, naughty Mel. What a way to end that chapter! ;)

Looking forward to the next part. :)

I'm really beginning to like Jo again. I'm happy for her getting non-vicarious smoochies and I loved her wondering what question she asked, but you are such a tease for ending the chapter that way!

As for Honor, I'm on the last book now. Shannon Foraker's my favorite secondary character too. I loved her "Oops!" Fortunately, her superiors didn't seem to mind her "accidental" destruction of a squadron of SS SD's. I was wondering if you picked the name Mei-ling for the Superstar updates after reading the earlier books.

Lovely, for some reason the last bit has my imagination all ablaze, just hours and hours of that, I can deal def. deal.

And jo is growing on me. I'll tell you what I really like w/t in a lesbian context, with lesbian friends. And I can't help wondering , you've created these wonderful characters and god I just .. god, well never stop ;) I know you must but .. i love them.

Okay, that wasn't so much a cliff hanger as cruel! I loved this chapter though. I really like Jo, glad she's got a date. And yes, the bouncy things did used to be green, I dunno why they are red now. :confused

Love how Tara was so concerned about Buffy, despite Willow's protest that Buffy was fine. This shows, not only Tara's caring nature, but also how intuitive she can be.

See, I have a vested interest in Jo now. Bless her heart. Thankfully, she got a kiss. And I know she needs breaking in slowly but dammit, what's going on when I'm more interested in a peripheral character than Willow and Tara? This isn't right. But god, it's wonderful. I love the characters you've created to put Willow and Tara into context; that really works for me. Thanks so much.

Wonderful update Triscuit. Jo is such a sweetie and I am really glad she got a kiss and also a date. I like Dani as well and I am glad that Riley got the vamp who was going to hurt her. I love Superstar and really love how you are working in dialogue and scenes and then expanding them. brilliant. The end was teasing and I eagerly await the next part.

I haven't given you feedback on your fic, even though I have been reading it from the very beginning, so here goes.

This is truly a fabulous fic. Excellently written and very compelling. The erotic love scenes between W/T are incredibly sexy. I love the way in which you are managing to blend so many different characters in to the story, especially Jo, and Dani. I am starting to care as much about them as I do for Willow and Tara,......... well nearly.

Looking forward to your next update.

after thinking about what i should say to compliment your writing for almost an hour, i'm still at loss for words. at best, i'd just end up paraphrashing what's already been said. so, i'll just say this:

oh.my.goddess. almost missed last night's episode because of your story. :)

Now, now...I'm starting to worry about Dani and the Sarah chick. Sure hope Dani is not the one that let her into her room.:eek

And to leave us hanging out there, what a tease you are!! ;)

Well, I'm quite relieved for Jo, as first lesbian dances go, this one was pretty much a winner.

Not too sure about that Dani chick, she seems to be a little clueless inviting vamps in and such. Did she actually get bitten by Sarah?

Your Willow/Tara scenes are delightful as always.

Thanks for writing.
