Oz goes to Rack and gets him to change his shape to that of Tara. He then abducts her and keeps her tied up somewhere (nothing too nasty) and tries to take Tara's place. However the spell does not give him Tara's memories or behaviour and before more then kisses happen Willow is quickly aware that something is wrong. She uncovers his true shape and uses a location spell to find where the true Tara is hidden.

Any good as a Pens fic? It's great that this forum is here so that I can post ideas and any that would cause offense can be filtered out at the planning stage.

FAQ wise, I could see a problem should Oz get a chance to do anything with Willow beyond a brief kiss. So within that constraint, it would seem like a very short fic and one fic that really did not deal with w/t for the majority of the fic. And that would be another FAQ problem.

I'm 50/50 on trying it or not as I'm not sure if it's ok here or not. Here's the full plan of it so I can get a final ruling if it's ok or not.

Chapter 1-Oz (or maybe Amy) uses magic to change into Tara shape, kidnaps Tara and informs her that he or she is taking her place..

Chapter 2-Willow finds there is something wrong with Tara. Unsure if it is magical in nature or some kind of non-magical illness, she casts a spell to uncover what has happened.

Chapter 3-Rescue of Tara, maybe NC 17 nookie scene once Tara is ok again.

Based on what it looks like you're planning, I'm not sure how this will focus on W/T for the majority of the fic. It sounds like the bulk of the fic is going to involve Tara and Willow apart, but I realize it's hard to tell what a chapter is going to be like from a one-sentence summary.

These are the specific FAQ issues I'm concerned about here:

• All fics should focus on W/T for a majority of the fic.
  
• Any creative effort featuring Willow or Tara with any other character in any romantic/sexual situation is Off Topic and does not belong on the board.
  
• ...SMUT, but only if it is W/T, in big gay love, in their own bodies and hot for each other.

It seems that last point won't be an issue, but I am not sure about the first two, especially the first one.

If you can work it so that your fic is within the Pens FAQ, though, go for it.

If I can do it I'll try and do it as a one parter OR just have the bit with Tara being rescued and Willow explaining what happened and Tara expressing her fears that Willow would have been taken in, that might just do it.
