I'm looking for a fellow Battlestar Galactica fan to bounce around my Mash up ideas with. I'm going off the "re-imagined" series.. I
just decided to make this a thing last night while re-watching BSG, and started assigning BVS characters to the roles.. Basically what I'm thinking is following most of the BSG plot/verse but with flair adjustments (as well as some plot deviations) to make the BSG roles clearly reflect the Buffy characters. (Willow and Tara would obviously be the main focus. Hardcore shipping and steamy-ness included.) Only thing is, Tara would need to be a little more feisty/wild (like a vamp tara persona) as I'm planning on her representing "Starbuck" (Willow is going to be opposite as "Apollo").
Ideally I think this would be a different/awesome mini competition for bored writers.. Maybe have each entry do a short story reflecting the miniseries plot (with their own character flairs/spins of course). I feel it has the potential to be a great story if done well.. I'm not a strong writer, and inspiration comes in small doses.. So I know I'm not the best person for the job, and I'd like to do this idea -some- justice..
Bottom line, I miss reading fan fics about our girls, and would love to make this happen.. Any writers/kittens interested in taking this on, bouncing around ideas, or amount of assistance to help write this myself is highly welcome.
