Time change?

Postby EasierSaid » Mon Oct 31, 2005 2:24 pm

Is the board not recognizing Daylight Savings this year? It's a little thing, but I admit that it's really throwing me off! (The hour-later time on the board seems to be taunting me while I'm at work!) :)

Heather,

I had to go into my profile preferences and change it manually.

Just put it at GMT -8 and you should be okay...it will then be your local time.

Hope that helps.

Ah, I'm just too used to networked time I guess (where everything changes automatically for you!). Thanks very much; I tried your fix Carleen, however, changing it manually in profile only changes the time when logged in - the rest of the time (har har) it's still an hour off. Is that a board admin's change to make, or is the 'guest view' (or whatever you call the not-logged in look) just going to be an hour off until time changes back (like the clock in my car). :)

On a completely related note - I could have sworn I posted that to the 'Issues' thread! Are new threads spontaneously appearing now as well! :laugh Lordy...

I think it's ok now, let me know if it's not.
