make sure you are logged in, then go to the profile link at the top of the page.(right under the word KITTEN)... change it in your profile.... save your profile & ...

then it will be changed.

Why am I having so much trouble logging in? I usually have to do the log in 2 or 3 times before it takes and then God forbid I should want to post something...again with 2 maybe 4 logins and then half the time when I hit submit, the log in screen just keeps coming up over and over and the post doesn't take...what's up with that? Even if I did have a fic update to post I couldn't do it...HELP please!

I'd try a couple of things first:

1. Clear the cache
2. Delete the cookie
3. try another browser

Sometimes the cookies or cache can become corrupt and these problems happen. Make sure you are allowing cookies as well. That could be the problem.

Oh well, the old board only lost half the fic, so it had that.

At least you're still able to post.

Maybe a new account? We can always rename it to whatever you like and give your post count back. It still seems like a localized problem so I am not sure that would help.

Stupid question (probably) about private messaging. What is the difference between my "sent" box and my "out" box? In other words, if a message is "sent" but not "out," has the intended receipent not recieved it, or vice-versa?

Did that make any sense?

Hey, Ben. Yep, it made sense. The PMs in your Sentbox have been read. The PMs in your Outbox have not been read by the recipient. (You can edit or delete a PM as long as it's in your Outbox.)

The support thread was removed at the request of Heather, the crappy feelings thread has been (temporarily) closed, but Gatito, you old Kitten you (and I mean old in a good way ), you can start a daily thread if you want to, it can be about whatever you want and no one has to worry about it going off topic or being too random or whatever.

how can i delete my user account? will my posts be deleted? if i ever deicde to come back can i still get my posts back?

Hey Rose, I believe that you cannot delete your user account. A mod can do it and if we do, we cannot undo it. Your posts will not disappear; they will be reverted to "guest" posts. I think it'll still say "LesbianJedi87" but it will be like you never registered.

If you decide to delete your account and then later you want to come back, you will not have editing powers over the posts you made previously. And it might be a hassle to get your old name back, but I'm not sure on that point.
