Hi,
I was just wondering if it was just me, but I'm having trouble accessing stories/ anything from the old board (ie chat/ family conflict I want to know how it ends ) - my computer freezes. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise this may happen

1. Which browser are you using?
2. Which version?
3. Which O/S?
4. What exactly happens? Is an error shown?

Try turning off JavaScript support before navigating to the page.

Um did I mention I'm computer illiterate lol. To the best of my knowledge: 1. IE
2. 7
3. Vista - home
4. If the page loads (sometimes it doesn't even load) I'm unable to click on any links or even scroll down, my computer freezes and it says that internet explorer has stopped working. How would I do that? Thank you for your help

that sucks my laptop had it too, it's dead now
internet explorer froze al the time too
try opera or firefox maybe

Yeah, I use Firefox.

To disable javascript in IE7:

1. From the Tools menu, choose Internet Options...
2. Click the Security tab.
3. Click Custom Level...
4. Scroll to the "Scripting" section of the list. Click Disable or Enable.
5. Close and restart your browser.

Note that disabling Javascript will make lots of other sites behave differently (or, in many cases, not at all), so you'll want to turn it back on when you leave yuku.

I'm assuming it's something in one of the page's scripts that's plonking your browser.

it worked - i ditched IE and got firefox it works. Thanks for your help you guys rock woohoo, i'm off to read some fics now yay lol.
