What do you guys think the odds are of us ever seeing Oz, Faith , or even Cordy in future ep.'s of Buffy?

Personally I'd like to see Faith -- but couldn't care less if Oz ever returns.

I'd say the odds are pretty slim -- but you never know.

Ditto on not caring if we ever see Oz on Buffy again. I think they've reached a level of closure on that storyline, and besides, Seth and Joss have both indicated that it was unlikely they'd work together again in the near future.

Faith, I desperately want to see on Buffy and possibly Angel again. I think there is more story to be told with B/F, some unresolved issues, especially on Buffy's part if Sanctuary is any indication. Eliza's quite the busy gal, though, so I don't know how likely it is. Pretty much the same story with Dru/Juliet. Like to see her, not sure if it'll happen. And Dru I think actually has more story potential on Angel than Buffy. I think she's in more of a position to mess with Angel's mind than Buffy or Spike's at this point.

Cordy? Again, I see some possibility there. But, like Angel and anyone else on Angel, it would require some resolution of the different networks/bad blood problem there. Joss did say he might try for a crossover next year, though, so it's a possibility. And I'd think more than likely if WB were to drop Angel and UPN picked it up.

I tend to agree with what you said about faith.....and that the Oz/Willow thing has gotten its closure.......However I personaly found Oz to be one of my fave chariters.....I could very easily see a stand alone storie just about him and what happened to him when he left to find his cure (Althought i realize that will never happen). As for Cordy.....I would love to see her on Buffy agin....if for nothing else just to see Buffy, Willow, and Xanders reaction to how mutch more mature her charicter has become.......not to mention that I could look at Cordy ALL DAY long and be happy. LOL

I like Oz too, but I don't really see him fitting into the storyline much at this point. We might see him again for a bit as the series winds down (a cameo in the finale, for example) And I'm sure he'll continue to be a presence in the novels and comics.

I'd like to see Oz again. Definitely one of my favorite characters, but I don't see how it could ever fit in, especially now with what's going on.

Plenty of stuff left with Faith, that I would love to see. Her and Buffy are no where near resolved. Plus you can't go wrong with anything Eliza.

And seeing the interaction between Cordy and Buffy, Xander and Willow would be great after all this time. I mean, there was that whole possibility with Willow's appearance in "There's No Place Like Plrtz Glrb", but I can see why Joss would want to avoid all that.

The story of what happened on his journey to find the cure for the wolf has been told in the Dark Horse Oz mini-series. It's a really good story, though the art isn't quite what I expected to see considering that I was really used to the artwork in the regular series Buffy books. The dialogue was very well written too.

On to Faith. Dear god I would love for her to come back. I won't hold out hope for it, but it would be great to see. What I want is to have Giles back, even if it's just for a little while. We miss you Giles!!!

Zahir, you're definitely not alone in wanting to see the return of QT. Could be very interesting. And as for Giles, I didn't mention him, but I take it as kind of a foregone conclusion that he'll be back. His story's not close to done, and his leaving Sunnydale, while perhaps necessary at this point, certainly didn't feel like any kind of "closure" to me. I'm just guessing, of course, but I would think we might see him at least once more this year, and perhaps he'll have an even bigger role to play in the events of next season.

I would love to see Harmony back. She can't do that on Angel because Cordelia would probably stake her after the last ep she was in, but I think there's still some things Harmony can do in Sunnydale.

It sure seemed like that for a long time, but we've been getting some indication recently that ED is interested in coming back--see for example the current Marti Noxon interview from Dreamwatch. It will probably come down to scheduling, but an appearance by Faith is always welcome in my book. I'd especially like to see how Tara would react after how mean Faith was to her in WAY.

And I'd love to see Harmony again, too, especially given how dark this season is. She could lighten things up a bit.

Actually, you know who I've been thinking about recently? Ethan Rayne. Wouldn't mind seeing him back. I mean, if Krychec (sp?) is able to escape from disused missile silo's, then surely Buffy's own Rat Boy can do similar and escape the Government's shackles to bestow a little more mayhem on the Scoobies. (Now, if Oz was going "who is that girl?" after seeing Willow in her post-ghost getup, imagine what Tara's reaction would be?)

As for Cordy, much as I like her character, I'm not sure there'd be that much there, beyond an amusing first scene when they all meet up again:

Giles, yes, yes, and thrice yeeessss, for coming back (I'm missing him already, and I haven't seen season 6 yet), but it's okay to have him go at the same time. Perhaps room for a new character to come along ..?

Oz - well, Tara and Oz comparing Willownotes would be cute. Possible story material in there, but again, I'm okay if he doesn't come back. And I understand why Seth might not want to. By the way, anybody seen Rat Race? Apalling, but amusing at times. But when is he gonna do something decent?

Faith - I'm not sure what else they could do with the character, to be honest. There'd be so much animosity, I'm not sure she'd stand much chance, really. Although, a bitchy confrontation between Faith and Willow might be fun. I like Faith's character, but I don't know ... I will reserve judgement until (if) she comes back.

What about Wesley? Apart from Alex's "don't date a fellow cast member" stance, it might be quite good fun. Anybody else watched season 3, and looked for any sly interplay between them? I think I read somewhere that Aly flirted with him shamelessly (that's my girl!) Anyway, could have potential.

As for QT - only if we get to see the Scoobies let loose on him with a bunch of cricket bats.

Any chance we'd see a potential watcher enter the fray? A new one, perhaps?

I like the idea of any Buffy/Angel crossovers, especially with the Host - he'd definitely fit in. I don't like the way Buffy and Angel have been cut asunder at all.

As for Oz, I've always thought he should come back, if only for the drama - and maybe so they could resolve some of the issues from when he left. I don't know if he and Tara would get on at first, but maybe they would, if Oz accepted that while Willow does love him, she just doesn't love him in the way she loves Tara.

I don't know, Warduke - Oz left thinking Willow had simply moved on from him to someone new, when really it was something different and deeper. I'd like Oz to realize that Willow is gay, and that she still loves him, but not in that way. I think it would help to tie up the Willow/Oz relationship, but more importantly shut up the people who think Oz and Willow should, or even could get back together!

Unfortunately, no matter what happens in the future, there will always be those O/W 'shippers who will never give up hope of them reuniting. That's just the way of being a hardcore shipper. I'm sure if he were to say... die... people would still think he'd come back as a ghostly type werewolfy thing and start on the wooing of Willow.

Marti comments on the likelihood of Oz, Faith and Dru ever reappearing in the Dreamwatch interview I posted the other day. I would say that Faith is more likely to reappear on 'Angel' than on 'Buffy', and that Oz is the least likely character to come back. That's just my speculation, though - go read the interview to see what Marti said.

Well its good to see that I'm not the only one that would like to see Oz come back......however i see there are still quite a few haters of him.
And him comeing back for a few ep. .....doesnt mean he would be wooing Willow......personaly I would like to see him hanging out with Tara (not romanticaly of course)...I think they would get along superly.......I'm sure this would make Willow nervous as hell as well (could be fun and all dramay).
I knowticed a few of you brought up the Host crossing over to Buffy....all i realy have to say about that is......WHAT A GOOD IDEA!!!!! I hadnt even thought about crossover prospects conserning the Host.....He would SO work with the Buffy dynamic.

well, i must say that i would die and go to heaven (and i think my friends would be perfectly happy to let me stay there)were Faith to come back to Btvs, and i would take a temporary trip to the clouds if she shows up on Angel
frankly, with all the b/f fanfic i've read, its easy for me to see her return working out for the best (as i see it, anyway) but i think my opinion is slightly bias there
plus, ya'know, fic isn't the most likely stuff the show will actually use
a girl can hope though

Entirely coincidentally, I watched 'New Moon Rising' again on Thursay... and I'd have to agree that the Oz/Willow thing is completely resolved - Oz realized that she was happy. I think the fact that Willow let him believe that "maybe someday" they might get back together was just her letting him off lightly.

Still, it does annoy me when people seriously ask the question "Do you think Oz and Willow will get back together?" Like, gay now!

As for Faith, I can't see how she could come back unless she goes bad again and escapes from prison. Then she could turn up on BtVS and Willow could kick her ass... that I'd like to see!

The girl from the homeless shelter in "Anne" was indeed the same as Lily from "Lie to Me", though I totally missed that the first time round!

Faith/Vamp Willow, now there's a couple. I would love to see Faith or Oz or V. Willow back, but SG and ED have no interest in coming back, and I don't think AH wants to play evil again. I can only dream though . OMG! I'm a floating rose!

Actually, i understood from the Marti interview, and other interviews with Eliza D. that she was very interested in returning to the show. It would be wonderful to see her do another 2 or 3 show arc like she did at the end of S4. If they brought her back to kill off Faith that would lead to another Slayer being called, which would give the writers the opportunity to add another major character and/or episode arc to one of the shows. I can think of all kinds of fascinating possibilities.

I suspect from things Joss has said that Seth Green may have created some bad blood by breaking his contract.

The other character I'd love to see return is Kate. (Elizabeth Rohm) I think she and David B. have great chemistry.
