Isn't there going to be some point along the way when my mother doesn't call me at 10 p.m. to tell me in great detail what she was doing the minute I was born? I kinda know the story now. However, I am infinitely grateful that I have a mother and that she cares enough about me to call on my birthday.

I still have to find a gift. Last year I bought her a star. That is I got a star in the constellation Pieces named after her. Got a cetificate and everything. This year I'll probably get those trees in the back yard she hates riped out.
