General Season 6 Spoilers - Part 7 - The Voyage Home

Postby tyche » Mon Mar 04, 2002 3:03 am

According to 'Some Spoilers' (who doesn't seem to be the most accurate source on the face of the earth, to put it mildly) at the Cross & Stake, "the resurrection spell is wearing off."

Posting this mainly cause I'm entertained by the prospect of the rest of the season being Night of the Living Buffy.

Nice to here there's gonna be some W/T interactions in Hell's Bells!!

I found this site which has a petition to urge UPN/Joss not to take tara off the show, wonder how everyone is feeling about it... I personally signed the guest book, even though it may not change whatever ideas the writers have in mind it shows our support for tara/amber!!!

Actually if Buffy did sell the house it could be good for Willow/Tara.

Say Dawn and Buffy bought a new place with just 2 rooms, Willow would be without a home. I am pretty sure Xander's appartment only has one room and Will wouldn't wanna move back home, so it could fall to Tara to ask Willow to move in to her place

In full nit-pickin' mode here, but my first thought was:
'Revengeance'? Is that even grammatically correct?

To join your nit-picking, Webster's New World Dictionary says that the word "re-vengeance" is Old French; so I guess the word exists, it's just very old.

Not that this makes the spoiler any more credible.

xita:
ep 18
Anya and Halfrek try to curse Xander, but fail because Anya doesn't truly mean it and D'Hoffryn and Halfrek try to convince Anya to become a vengeance demon again.
The Troika concoct another scheme to kill the Slayer, but this plan only serves to prove the real evil in the group.
Buffy finally tells the gang about her and Spike, leading to a heated argument.
though I saw a previous summary thingee that said something like "Tara and willow are still alive, and on the way to reunion" so how true that is I dont know.

Sorry if this is just spammy, I thought perhaps me not beeing registered messed up the thread somehow, beeing the last post, so I registered now.

Lanfear, the format of your name may have done something weird, or maybe it was just a coincidence. I don't think it had anything to do with being unregistered, unregistered folks post all the time.

As a side note, I recommend you read the first posts in this thread on its first page before you post any more.

Wendy's spoiler about Buffy selling the house may have a kernel of truth.

I was at SimplySMG and SMGFan message board. And on the spoiler board The Hostess posted a bit more info.
---------------------------------------------

"Originally posted by The Hostess:

Buffy 'trying' to the sell the house is true. i say 'trying' because i'm not sure whether she does or not. episode 18 i believe will deal with this. Buffy will be looking at at least one smaller house owned by an Oriental couple. there'll be a scene with her walking down a street with a newspaper in hand searching for a house (which is the one owned by the Oriental couple). "
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Buffy seems to be searching for a smaller home. So Buffy may be looking to sell the Summers house. But it's not known if she actually goes through with the deal. But if she does then Buffy, Dawn, and Willow will probably have a new smaller home. This will be a new set with new decorations.

drlloyd11, you had me going with that hint stuff. I so wish this was a spoiler. I would love for Willow and Tara to become roomates. It would be perfect. I hope your wish comes true. This would be the best news for Willow and Tara fans.

Buffy changing homes might be interesting, since it could alter the current living arrangements.

There is one thing that has bffled me since the beggining of the season: Does Willow even pay rent? IMHO she should, since Buffy is having financial problems.

Or maybe the issue fell into one of those giant plot holes that have been quite frequent this season...

So, the "spoilers" say Buffy's buying a house from an "Oriental" (not Asian or Asian-American, and why does is even matter?) couple...So, she's traveling back in time to the 1950's? Maybe she'll run into some "colored" folks as well. Sheesh, some people and their quaint, antiquated terms.

Hmmm...It seems we have about 4 different spoliery storylines for ep 18 - either some of them are wrong *coughWendycoughcough* or this will be The Busiest Buffy Episode ever.

I only care about (and believe) the juicy (and extra juicy) W/T spoilers from Dark Sheep Mysterioso, who *truly* has yet to be wrong.

DSM's spoilers are swell, and that Dark Sheep is dreamy...As long as were using 1950's language and all.

Just a thought, but if Anya being left by
Xander at the alter causes her to revert to her old demon self you might have the makings of the BSD rumor. Let me say I never really once believed a major character was going to die (especially Tara), but this could be a death that really isn't a death. Meaning, Anya still will be on the show not as a true human, but rather as a vengenace demon.

OH okay. Thank you for the info. I missed it, when it was originally on UPN, so I had to DL it. That sucks about cutting the cute things. I'm assuming your mean W/T. I hate it when they edit stuff. Grrr...
I still hope they are going to release seasons 3-6 on DVD, eventually. Maybe then, I can see the whole episode again.

Thanks again,

I've been a way for a while (holiday and work comitments)but I keep feeling that we are in a never ending repeat fo "Amends" but instead of dead by dawn as it was told to Buffy about Angel we keep getting the Tara will be dead by the end of the sweeps,by the end of the season etc. Why won't Wendy just let it go.

On another note well done for Gift of Amber and AutumnT being correct for their spoilers' for Hell Bells even if Herc says he got them all right

Once again: The BSD stuff is old. Wendy is old. It's all deathly old. We've asked folks to not bring it into this thread anymore on several occasions, and at this point, anything more on the subject on way or another will get deleted.

If a significant and credible spoiler comes out about a death, trust us, you won't somehow miss it. The vague natterings of Wendy and Wanda are not, I repeat not significant and credible on this matter.

Once again: BSD stuff, pro or con, Tara or someone else, meta-analysis, whatever, talk it out in private, or on another board. Until we get real word from Joss or another writer, or someone conservative and reliable like Angel X, or DSM, or someone in an upcoming episode simply drops dead in the wildfeed, it'll get deleted.

I just saw an article in the brand new TV guide that came out today. Mostly it was about the upcoming kiss on 'Once and Again' between Jessie and her friend Katie, but there was also a short mention of Willow and Tara and Joss Whedon talking about how the WB freaked out when he put the kiss in the Body. Kind of got the impression that ticked him off. What better revenge could there be than to have a full blown love scene on UPN then...

A better revenge? Doing that and having it be number 1 in the ratings.

Edited to add: Wanda hasn't said much in her chat, but she did "confirm" the spoilers about 19 being a big Troika showdown where they summon a demon.

I'd love to but unfortunately I didn't buy the magazine. I get them free at work on Tuesdays. I just happened to look at it when I was standing in line at the grocery store, It was mostly about Jessie and Katie, but they had a mention and photo of Willow and Tara, as well as Bianca of AMC. The general jest is how some networks still tend to be nervous about same-sex sexual situations. Joss mentioned the jitters at the WB and how it scared them. He didn't say he was going to push the envelope at UPN, but I got the impression that he wassn't very happy with the reaction from the WB. If I was him, I'd shoot for the moon at UPN...But that's just me, I'm evil like that............

I'm checking for the article online, but I did find this on TV's MVPs:
JAMES MARSTERS
Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Age: 30 Role: Buffy's seductive English vampire, Spike Bite me: The lanky, chiseled star has proven so irresistible that hundreds of websites have sprung up about Buffy's Prince of Darkness. "James is very sexy, very cool," says series creator and exec producer Joss Whedon . Blonds have more fun: To give contrast to Marsters's cheekbones, Whedon asked him to hit the peroxide bottle. "Not that he's ever thanked me," he cracks. "Not when his scalp is on fire every week and a half."

Amber wasn't on there
Couldn't find it, sorry.

I'm really thinking those episode 19 & 20 spoilers - the Revengeance & Relapse ones are BS at this point.

Wanda who does at least usually get episode names right has said 19 is called "Seeing Red" - I'd say that's a lot more likely than Revengeance. Or maybe, that title Revengeance got put "on hold". Ha. I crack myself up.

The TBCS spoiler board has some more stuff on eps 19 and 20: http://www.voy.com/13746/87238.html Certainly not gospel but interesting.

"I actually heard specifically that Willow saves the day WITHOUT magic in that episode."

This might happen in ep 20. If so this could lead directly to the big W/T reconciliation that I hope Marti will bless us with ep 21.
