Tara's dorm room ( Decor thread )

Um,I don't know if this is OT or not but well,it's art so might be invole to this board.

the thing is,I've decided to decorate my room like Tara's dorm room in S4.So,it's gotta have the candles,the chirstmas lights and stuffs.Any suggestion?

And since there's not really any full view of that room so I wonder in a lot of details.What's color of the walls exactly?Black or some dark colors?The windows,are they paint-glasses or what?Again,any suggestion?

And you know,stuffs as you can think of.

Oh,I really wonder of the picture that hang above the W/T bed in Summers's house.Does anyone have a full picture of it?I kind of curious what's it exactly.

One of the cast members was talking about this a while back, and said that the room is actually supposed to be like the night sky- black with stars. I always loved that dorm room. Stupid Glory trashing it

One thing I've noticed and find very encouraging these days is that there are still several of the pictures from Tara's dorm room hanging in her and Willow's bedroom at Buffy's house...the "Mug Shot" hanging over the bed is one...the very sexy looking young lady striking a pose 1920's or 30's style next to Willow's comic kitty is another and I believe I caught a glimse of another in a more resent episode as well, but can remember it very clearly...

Something else I've recently spotted...

The bedspread on their bed at Buffy's house is the same one from Tara's dorm room. You can clearly see it on her bed in the background of the now famous 'Flaming O' spell!

You can get a more clear pic of that in "Hush" I believe. It appears to be a painting of someone's ID. There's a date (1946), age (21) Hair color (Blonde), Eye color (Blue), height (5'6 - I believe) and a few other details I can't recall. In "Hush" you can see that on the left there is a profile of a woman and on the right is a frontal image of the woman. Who exactly this person is I have no idea. Perhaps a strong female historical figure? The date could be her DOB (most likely) or it could be when the "image" was taken (you know, like the date you got your license) or an experation date (like when your license expires).

Sorry I couldn't be more help on that part :-)

yeah, i've wondered about that too, especially in "wrecked" (s.6e.10). the height is actually 5'8 1/2", but you were very close!! anyway, that's just about all i know...
