This is just a little something I'm working on, and i figured here was the best place to post it, since your all so nice *g*. please don't be to harsh its pretty short but i do have a story to come...

Summary: Um...Willow and Buffy talking, but this will have a story I just needed a starting point
Spoilers: Um..I think up to season six 'wrecked'
Disclaimer: Joss Whedon owns all *sob* please no suiing I have no money
Rating: PG ( this part is at least, no clue as to the other parts they are yet to be written)

Silence. That was the worst part, the echos of emptiness around her existed only as constant reminders of what she had lost.
'Hey'
The voice drew Willow back from her state of depression
'Hey Buffy'
The slayer smiled 'Is it okay to come in?'
Willow nodded and moved to make room for the slayer to sit on the bed. A few moments of uncomfortable silence passed, each of the women thinking of something to say to clear the air, or to at least break the silence.
'So....um...how have you been?' Buffy asked
'okay, I guess. I mean no magick for almost a month which is great...'
'But...?
Willow sighed caught out 'But it also means a Tara-less months so...'
'You really miss her' The slayer stated, aware of the pain losing a lover could cause
'Like someone cut me in half and then took away one of the halves. It's so hard without her, everything I do, everything I see reminds me of her. But I know I messed things up, I messed everything up but I just wish I could see her again without it feeling like my hearts gonna die' Willow's small frame beginning to crumble as sobs escaped her 'I hurt her in ways... I violated her mind, that's what she said, and she was right. I just wish...I just wish she was here, that I could make everything right'
'Shhh...' Buffy said trying to comfort her friend 'You'll work things out I know you will'
'Please Buffy, I need....tell me how to make it better...'
'I wish I could, Will. But all I can say is it'll get easier and Tara will forgive you'
'Why should she Buffy why...'
'Because she loves you, thats why' She said interupting Willow
'But I don't deserve her, I don't know we can be together again'
'What are you saying Willow? Don't you want to be with her?'
After an eternity of silence a small barely audible word was uttered 'No'

Interesting start. Maybe try adding a little in between the sentances like -Buffy looked down to the floor- or describing what they might be thinking before they speak. Otherwise I'm interested in seeing where this is going.

thanks for all your replies made me happy. um...the next part will probably be up tonite and if i'm on a roll (and can find my glasses) i will post some more.

WiccansIllusion- thanx i try to describe stuff but sometimes i end up babbling for pages and pages and well you get the idea. the next part will be alot better hopefully as i wrote that part in about half an hour as i was feeling creative. now that people seem to like it i will continue

anyways next post later tonite hopefully....

Okay so heres the update, but before you read you should know I have only seen up to 'Tabula Rasa' in season six so my stuff on Rack is wrong i guess, its just taken from what people have said and stuff I read so....sorry also i have many probs with grammer during Willows babbling so i just left stuff out.

But bare with me as a story will develop thorugh my babbling....

'What do you mean no? You don't love her? ' Buffy asked on the verge of shouting
'What?' Willow asked quickly raising her head to look at Buffy 'Goddess, no no no! Thats not what I meant... I mean... it's more than that, she's my everything I just... I don't even think I can live without her.....but after everything I put her through I wanna make it right again but how can I? Things can never be how they were before, and I don't wanna be with her if I'm gonna hurt her again'
'Willow of course your gonna hurt her again, that comes with every relationship and she's probably gonna hurt you too, but you have to work though it, you can't just give up and besides' Buffy said looking at the floor thinking look where it got me and Riley 'Don't you think it's up to Tara to decide aswell?'
Willow turned her head and caught sight of one the photos of herself and Tara on the table. It had been taking the day after Taras birthday the day I almost lost her Willow thought
'Your right. I guess... I'm so confused, everythings all messed up. At least it can't get any worse'

Inside the old hut it was dirty and cramped full of magick ingredients and books. Two figures were stood opposite each other, and to an outsider it would look almost like a stand-off but they would be wrong.
'So you're hear to make a deal. Speak' came a rasped voice
A audible breth was drawn before the figure spoke ' Simply, you hurt someone I love and I know you'll hurt her again giving any chance'
Rack smiled knowing full well what her had done 'Yes' he hissed as he moved to take a seat on one of the rickety chairs 'So what's this offer?'
'You leave her alone and I-I I'll...you can have me. Once'
Rack smiled again, but this time it was full of malice 'What makes you think I'll accept?'
'Because I know you, you can't live without feeding off someone, someone who gives themselves willing' The figure said, almost confidently 'And if you fail to keep the promise, I'll kill you'
'Why haven't you done so already?' He asked frightened slightly yet still curious
The other figured seemed to contemplate this, then leaning forward yet still consealed by shadows 'Because unlike you I won't kill as a first option, but don't test me'
Rack smiled and thought the deal though, true it was an interesting idea and the girl...woman sat in front of him would be a fun ride but, something wasn't quite right
'How do I know this isn't a trick?'
'You have to trust me'
'But theres more to this than mets the eye' He stated 'What else do you want?'
The woman paused 'She's hurting and I can't stand it, you have to ease her pain'
Rack moved to stand again 'But that pain has to go somewhere'
'To me, its a fair deal you get to taste my power and I take some of her pain' A small break followed again 'But leave enough so...so she is reminded of what she did, so she knows the dangers that lie in dark magicks. If i take to much she'll will not know the consequences
'You want me to transfer the dark magicks?/' He asked truly suprised, the pain was terrible and to want it was a sign of insanity
The other figure meerly nodded
Sighing he continued to think it was dangerous but who was he to refuse danger, beside he had only to gain, he grinned then leaning forward he whispered 'Done, but are you to tell me your name?'
A few moments later the woman stepped into the dim light 'Tara'

Hmm .. Tara taking on Willow's problems ... interesting.

You might want to read the story about Forgetting (Forget and be Free, I believe) just to be sure you don't cover the same ground.

just finished reading 'forget and be free' and i think i would be covering similar ground that story waas tara taking willows pain mine was kinda rack and tara doing the whole magick thingy so he would leave her alone.
i think i'll just stop this incase i re-tread.

I don't know that you have to stop. I was just mentioning it because there are other ways to go ... and I didn't want you to take the same road.

I think, and don't listen to me, I'm just a krazy kitten, that you should continue your story keeping the other in mind. You'll know if you start to sound too much like the other.

I, for one, hate to see anyone give up a story. Especially when it has a good start ...

Having read both Forget and Be Free and this I think that you can continue. The two have different outlooks on what is going on, just like many different people are using Rack at the moment. When you get down to it all the themes in any story have already been done, it's just the variation in the characters and settings that make them unique. This is unique enough that you should continue. You'll find that you have your own voice and idea of what should be going on.
That being said you did a good job with Willow and Buffy talking with each other and didn't have that many grammer errors, though more crept in later.
The Rack and Tara section wasn't bad, though you might consider explaining how Tara knew who Rack was, how to find him and that sort of stuff.

thanks for the positive feedback, i may continue with this story if i think i can take it to a different place.

I haven't really thought out the story much so it could take some really weird twists. thanks for comments and all, i'll probably post an update later this week and i'll try and watch those grammer mistakes but its not my strong point (is that even how you spell grammer?)

Please continue with the story - a different take on some of the issues you're touching on will contain your unique world view and perspective while being based in a universe we all have in common. That's what sharing fan fic is all about!

(forgot to add a note about grammer - the more you write, the better it will become, which is an example of bad grammer right there! - so don't worry too much about it. If you need to, find a beta reader to correct mistakes! I'm sure many people would love the preview).
