Those two not being able to sleep apart... so sweet. *sigh*

I like the new chapters very much. I like Buffy on protective mode. Hmm... your transitions from 1 chapter to the next is very smooth, I must say. Well, I'm a happy kitty for now... at least until tomorrow when I start pacing again waiting for updates.

I am so glad I found this fic.

I have been spending time reading all of your other fics and I have to admit each one is better than the last.

Everyone here has gone on about your obvious affection for W&T, but I have to add how well you do Anya!

I am really enjoying this, it sucks that I have to wait for the next chapter!

OH, BTW does this story tie into the same chronolgy as your other fics? Or are they semi-independent?

Keep up the great work!!

Warlock.

Lisa,
I wanted to say that it has been a wonderful pleasure to read your story. The quality of your writing, the storyline and your character development is, well, excellent. I am loving pregnant Tara, and Willow as parents together. I can really see this happening!

This story is warming my heart and of course, wrenching it too! Oh, how you can write angst! Can't stand it when our girls aren't two snuggly peas in a pod, but the way you have written this, makes the whole arc really interesting and full circle, so I seem to be able to handle the angsty parts. Loved the bears & the way Tara became pregnant especially! So clever!

Anyway, I also wanted to add that I love how you write Buffy too. I love how she taunts Giles, is so protective of Willow and her old, witty self.
So, thanks again Lisa!

No worries Lisa, I'm an angst slut anyways...*lascivious grin*...my complaints are all in good fun.

Wonderful update. I was thrilled to come home from swordfighting and find it here. I was sure I was going to have to put it down after the first chapter due to exhaustion but it all just flowed so well that the next thing I knew, it was over. I love it when that happens! Then again, that also means I have to wait for the next chapters. *stops to ponder for a moment* It's worth it...what can I say? I'm a pleasure delayer, and reading your writing is always a pleasure. Thank you.

Lisa this story just keeps getting better with every new part. I just love pregnant Tara she's so much fun with the hormone highs, the cravings and the over protective mode. You write all the characters beautifully I can really see them. One last thing for now Cletus the fetus? *LMAO*

I have to agree...I love pregnant Tara. It is so funny seeing her on the emotional rollercoater. Great updates! Although...I didnt see any foot rubbing! You promised me foot rubbing! The little toe hold that you gave was just a tease. You are being a tease! Dont make me beg. Well, you might like it. If you want me to beg..hee hee....just ask.

Well you are not going to like this... I didn't think that these new chapters were as good as the rest! Sure, they were good...but not just as good! I don't know, maybe it was the rock that Giles gave them. I like to think of Tara as one with primal instincts, even without a mystery-stone! I think it was a stupid mistake to take advance of Will the way she did, but then again, a very human mistake to do...

As I said...it was good. Things like how Buffy protects Willow and the fact that W&T can't sleep without each other made me smile! And the make-up-scene in the bathroom...superb! But overall, not the best you have written...and still it tops most of the other writers out there!

There have been bits in here where I dislike what Tara is doing. But behind that, I always am quick to feel the reasons BEHIND her actions. I totally understand where she is coming from and can't even state that in her shoes I wouldn't do the same thing.

I like that you give us human characters, who we can still love and respect. Tara has a wonderful heart and I am looking forward to when she begins to show Willow some of that guiltless/fearless generousity. It would be nice I think...to see Tara go a bit above and beyond for Willow, since Poor Willow is trying so hard.

You are keeping me hooked on the story and I look forward to more posts.

Hmmmmm...Verrrrrrrrry Interesting. Giles and Buffy are tied up with Amy, leaving Willow and Tara all alone without much backup at the house. Uh oh... (grin)The ominous music is swelling.

Still loving this story, Lisa. We've already established that your writing skills are superior, but I want to especially compliment you on your characterizations. On top of the always wonderful Willow and Tara scenes, I have to tell you how much I am loving Buffy being so supportive of Tara in this piece. Willow too, but especially Tara. I have missed supportive friend Buffy terribly this season, and I have always wanted Buffy and Tara to be good friends, apart from Willow. While we know Tara is a now a full fledged scooby based on the events in 'Family' and also her participation in scooby activities, on the show we still haven't really seen that much affection for Tara by the other scoobies. What a gift it has been to me, to the characters, and I'm sure many other fans to be able to tune into a Buffy world where everyone really is family. I got a little veklempt when Xander and Anya went so ballistic over the scene with the FIRST OBGYN, and also all the scenes with Buffy going out of her way to make sure Tara is safe, not out of obligation to Willow, but because she CLEARLY loves Tara. I need those characters to love each other right now, almost as much as they need it themselves. *grin*

Anyway, your story is compelling, and it has me laughing out loud (cletus the fetus, peas for breakfast, night cravings, lesbears ect.) and crying...the scene where they echo the "I am you know..." was amazing. That has always been one of my favorite scenes between them. I am so happy that in someone's universe they are slowly and realistically working things out. Oh, also, I like not-so-perfect Tara. I like perfect Tara also, but sometimes I think she is so dreamy and idealized that she ceases to be real. I'm glad she is pregnant and moody, I'm glad she isn't always making the right decisions. She's human, and we can and should love her even when she fucks up, much like Willow. The whole sex issue also restored a little of the balance of power between them; this way it doesn't have to be that Willow is like scary Brave New World repenter all the time. *grin* Now they can both build each other back up together. *Sigh* I could go on and on...

But I won't. *grin* I just wanted to send big compliments your way because I think you're doing a lovely job and I like to tell people when things about them are good. Finally, please don't feel obligated to reply to this post. I've been so impressed that you make a point to comment on every single bit of feedback you get...that's very commendable, but also exhausting! I know from posting my writing in other genres that just getting it written and posting it on a schedule of deadlines is hard work, let alone having the energy when you're done to give back to all the wonderful people who support you. You're a fiction goddess. Revel in it. Accept the love. Don't reply, just drink this one up....

And keep posting chapters!!!! *grin*

Kris,
It's nice that you mention the story elements. I spend a great deal of time on all those things. Heck, even original characters names are a huge decision.

Did you notice that Doc Diana... is named after goddess Diana/Artemis...the goddess of childbirth? and Cassie...short for Cassandra... the seer whose visions went unheeded? Just food for thought. *wink*

I'm having fun with pregnant Tara, but that's been a research job too. LOL I've never been pregnant and I don't have many friends who have been either!

There are snuggles coming soon to a webpage near you. *G*

I got the bear idea from a post about the Hallmark kissy bears. It just became horribly twisted in my evil mind. ;-) Same with the OMWF song and Lethe's bramble.

I've written Buffy more like predeath Buffy. I'm hoping with the new shows, she'll get back some of her old spunk. I'm crossing my fingers.

I think constructive criticism is a great way to grow.
I put a lot of thought into using the stone. My decision went something like this... Tara loves Willow, she is extremely attracted to Willow, she wants Willow, BUT Tara has too much integrity to ever take advantage of Willow. The feelings of desire were Tara's, but the stone made her act on them in a way she wouldn't normally. It's important Tara did make this mistake, as well as the others (like when she was a major bicca to Buffy because of the raven emerald.) Tara and Willow need to come together on equal footing. I didn't want Willow to be the "Bad" one, the one who made all the mistakes. I'm sorry you didn't like the way I developed the plot, but it does work for me. I needed Tara to have her own mistakes because she had too much power over Willow if she didn't. But, that's just my opinion. LOL Thank you for sharing yours with me. Just know I didn't make the decision lightly.

Hope you like the new chapters more,
Thanks again, and always feel free to help me grow as a writer.

Thank you. See above for my feelings on Tara's actions. It was important for me to have Tara be human as well as have her make painful mistakes with Willow.

Willow is trying very hard. She's made huge mistakes, and that actually makes it easier for her to forgive Tara. That will help Tara learn to forgive her sweetie.

Hope you like the new chapters.

I wish the show would dig into the Buffy/Tara friendship. Tara is warm and nurturing and just what Buffy needs.

Anya and Xander... fun, fun, fun to write. Look for more Anyaisms. *G*

It's great to see that you saw the Tara mistake as a way for them to balance power. That was my intent. (See above post to enigmatic) If Tara were perfect, there would be no way for her to reconcile with a very flawed Willow.

BTW... I am drinking up your comments, but I wanted to reply.

Willowbabble? I thought that it was a reasonably coherent sentence, myself...

Whatever the case, nice li'l update. Your increasingly-less-cryptic notes from the seer are getting me on edge, but I just loved all the little romantic stuff.

Will the gang trust Amy too much for their own good? Ooh, I hope not...

So, Lisa, I'm reading this since the first chapter and every day I tel myself to leave you some feedback here..y'know, not just consume but also stroke the author's ego.
I already told you in your last thread how much I adore your fics..maybe if I find the energy, I'll point out some of my favorite scenes, or sometimes just sentences to you. One thing I can already say, is that you're doing agreat job on Buffy whom I don't like on show but who I just love in your fic.
Anya... I think you have the best grip on her and she's just incredibly amazing, the way you write her. Xander, Spike, Giles are terrific as well.

I also thought that it was a good move to have the Almost-Make-Love scene because it puts the girls in a more equal position. Now, it's not only Willow who has to make up and regain trust. You brought Tara back to earth, nice move. The only thing I really have to criticize is that you made Willow forgive Tara so fast. In my opinion, that was unnaturally fast and I hope you don't forget the incident in future characterizations. Tara hurt Willow (and I'm mad at her for this!) and this shouldn't be forgotten too soon by either one of them. And I really think it should influence Willow's future behavior and attitude towards a reconciliation/make-up sex with Tara. ANGST! Let's not forget about the angst, it's always so enjoyable in your fics.

Thanks for sharing this!

Okay, calming down now. I know that Amy doesn't have the support system that Willow has to help her fight her addiction, and I feel bad for her, but I really want something big and heavy to step on her! I love the make-up conversation, especially Tara's "if you want something, take it".

Just read the new chapters and they were brilliant. I am glad that Will and Tara are a couple again, it makes the whole Rack thing more less complicated! Though I didn't like the vision that Cassie got, does it mean that Tara's gonna lose the Baby? I certainly don't hope so...!

It's wonderful to see our girls back together, finally. Definitely not too thrilled with the foreboding visions, but I am capable of fathoming the necessity of such foreshadowing, to a good story. I love what you've done with Dianna and Cassie's characters. Very clever.

So does calling refero to return ones lost child somehow damage the mother (ie tara mom and the cancer)? Cause if it don't and tara loses the child but calls refero it can tie into your other story line. Returning in 4 years with the whole amazon tatoo thing.

The ONLY critque I would have based on what you said was the motivation for Tara's mistakes was that Tara was always influenced by an outside force when she did them.

Even without the stone that Giles brought, I can see the temptation to give into the familarity and sensuality of being with Willow. The footing can only be truly equal if Tara makes a mistake on her own and then later admits it.

It's wonderful to see Tara reaching out to Willow and admitting that she knows Willow is the one. And it is continually marvelous to see Willow continuing to try SO hard to be therer for Tara and be patient. I'm really loving Willow in this piece and it's been hard to do that this season. Same with Buffy.
