Fic: Laid To Rest

I guess it had to end at some point. Thanks for a great ride and for sharing your talent with us.

And I love the idea of Faith and Cordy together. They're going to be my next Sims couple!

Thanks again!

You know, Tommo, I've got to ask if you've ever considered writing stories with your own characters only? Lord knows you've got the talent, and the discipline to write, plus your original characters are quite compelling.

Just a thought.

"All good things must come to an end!" but "It isn't over until the fat lady sings!"

I think I managed to convey previously how great I thought this story was, but I'm going to say it again anyway. IT WAS GREAT! Thanks too for the happy ending! Tragedies are moving and dramatic but it takes a happy ending to give me the sort of warm fuzzy feeling I'm basking in right now.

I know that you could no more give up writing than the sun could give up going from east to west, so I'll be looking forward to another wonderful tale sometime in the future!

Great ending to a great fic Ruth, plenty of angst but also some very beautiful moments between our girls, and a few very nice scenes also

And lets not forget Faith, a little Faith is a good thing, but a lot of Faith is even better

Cheers Zahir. Yeah, I've thought about it. I've even got a draft of a book already written. But you know, courage and all that...perhaps one day I'll dust it off and have a go.

I just love writing Willow and Tara, and Faith too now. I mean, if I didn't love the characters as much as I do, I wouldn't feel the compulsion to write about them so much. I suppose I should try and drum up some enthusiasm for original characters.

Niamh: Wannabe Slayer, heh heh heh.

P.S. I'm a fat lady. I sing. Is it over?

Heh heh, I know Forrister. I was merely stating facts, love, not assigning blame. But yeah, it's over. My current fic, I'm afraid, will never be posted on the pens board.

But I'm sure once season 6 rolls up I'll be wanting to write some more Willow/Tara stuff. In the meantime, it's back to what I know best.

BTW I loved that series. Beautifully well written.

Cheers Wombat. I will be continuing the series, but the next fic will be a Cordy/Faith one entirely. I feel the need to explore that avenue. Therefore, no posting on the pens.

I'll probably be posting it on one of the Faith mailing lists on yahoo. Won't be for a while I suspect, unless I get really inspired tonight. But thanks anyway, I love writing for Faith, she's a devilishly interesting character. Plus I've got a hankering to do more with her.

But I couldn't leave Willow and Tara for too long, so I shall be making a return visit to them in Sunnydale most likely.

Ruth,

I haven't been around to comment at all on this fic, caught up in life itself, and other such issues. But I just wanted to remind you how amazed I am at your fics (this is probably the 18th time I've said this), and that I think your talent is awe inspiring.

Take a bow, I know you deserve it.

Anyway, inspite of what you said, any kind of writing is what you do best smut, w/t adventure, you name it!

I write smut? Do I? Heh heh...

Thanks Xita, I do remember those days of early posting on willtara. God, how times have changed. I realised the other day that I've been writing w/t fic for over a year now, of all sorts.

Anyway, no more adventures for w/t for a while now though. Unless they decide to visit Chicago for some reason...heh heh.
