The shot opens up with a view of a sidewalk lit only by a streetlight far above the camera. The scene almost seems like something out of a movie as the camera shifts and focuses in on the slowly opening doors of a taxivan pulled over to the side of the street as a very happy looking redhead climbs out of the van. The camera pulls back a little as the redhead shuts the door and waits patiently for the blond slowly approaching from the other side of the van. Focusing in slowly, the camera's attention is drawn to the outstretched arm of the redhead as her hand is gently taken by the blond. With the camera's focus now including both the girls, the camera begins to back away slowly as the couple walk forward toward the apartment building seen at the beginning of the date.
As the two arrive in front of the door to Tara's apartment the scene is set up in the same way as it was at the beginning, with the cameraman positioned in just the right place to prevent any suicide jumps on the part of the still nervous redhead. A click is heard and the camera focuses in on Tara, who's back is turned to the camera as she pushes the door open slightly and slowly turns back to face Willow as the camera pulls back to include both girls in the shot.
"I had a really great time Will. The whole day was perfect." The blond smiles a little as she takes Willow's hand in her own and pulls the redhead forward a step.
"It was, ah perfect I mean. And I'm really happy we could do this and now that I'm thinking about it I really should apologize to Buffy about all the death threats and everything cause this was a really good idea, and…" Stopping herself in mid-babble, Willow takes a deep breath and slowly adjusts to suddenly being extra-close to Tara. "And I really hope we can do this again. Sometime soon." Closing her eyes after hurriedly saying those last two potentially destructive sentences, Willow assumes a desperate crash position and prepares for Tara's response.
"Willow, I…"
"I know, I know. Tonight was really great and I shouldn't have ruined it by sticking my foot in my mouth and putting pressure on you and all that stuff. It's just that yea, tonight was perfect, and I want this again." Taking another deep breath, the redhead opens her eyes and finds two beautiful blue eyes smiling back at her.
"You big goof. Always rushing in and saying something before you even know what I'm going to say. And what I was going to say was. I'd love to do this again. Sometime soon. Like maybe I'll see you tomorrow soon?" The two share a smile as Willow takes another step closer to Tara.
"Tomorrow would be great. We could get mochas."
"And mochas bring happiness" The camera closes in as the two girls continue to close the rapidly decreasing gap between them and end up in an innocent yet lingering kiss. And when they pull away from each other it's only to end up resting their foreheads against one another and sighing in contentment.
"As much happiness as that?" Willow pulls away from Tara and holds both of the blond's hands in her own, while a happy smile plays gently over her lips.
"Nothing can bring as much happiness as that." Tara smiles back at Willow but nods her head back to the slightly open door behind her. "And I guess umm, this is when we say goodnight." Willow smiles sadly but nods in agreement.
"I guess it is. But tomorrow and mochas?" Tara smiles and leans in to kiss Willow once again.
"I definitely see mochas in the very near future for you and I." The two smile at each other once more as the camera pulls back and Tara walks into the apartment and closes the door behind her. And in the closing shot the camera moves back at a walking pace as a dreamy eyed redhead heads back toward the taxivan and the solitary streetlamp.
And the screen fades to black.

As the screen lights up again, the audience is returned to the familiar plush world of Blind Date. With the applause from the audience coming out in full force the camera focuses in on the centre of the stage where a big, cushiony chair sits next to an equally cushiony looking sofa in front of a wooden coffee table. As the audiences applause dies down the camera focuses in on the chair where a very radiant Buffy Summers sits awaiting her cue. And when the audience is silent the stage manager gives his signal, and with a perfectly executed toss of her hair, Buffy begins.
"Hey everybody and welcome back. I hope you all enjoyed that little peep show. Wasn't it just so cute? And hey, wasn't it just awesome when Willow decided to take back all those death threats?" Acting like she's about to cry, Buffy reaches over to the table and takes some tissues and dabs at the corners of her eyes. "Doesn't that kind of friendship just bring a tear to your eye? I mean, when a friend takes back death threats. It's just… It's too big of a feeling to describe in words." The camera focuses in closer as Buffy takes a deep breath and discreetly disposes of the teary evidence. "But, enough of me and my emotions. Let's bring out Willow and Tara. Since we know the date went so well, we can tell the security team to sit back and have a donut or too, I don't really think there'll be much violence between these too." Stopping a second Buffy furrows her eyebrows in thought, and then in all seriousness turns and looks directly at the camera. "Unless you count excessive PDAs as violence. Then we might have a problem." The camera slowly begins to focus in on the large opening on the right of the stage as the corny Blind Date theme music begins to play and the audience begins to applaud. Then after what seems like an eternity, Willow and Tara make their flawless TV entrance. The two quickly approach Buffy, hand in hand, and then each in turn bends down and hugs the hostess before moving over to the sofa and sitting down, very snugly. At which Buffy takes one look and turns to the camera with a conspiratory look and mouths 'PDAs' while pointing her thumb toward the two women on the sofa. With the camera focused in to include all three women in the shot, the music fades out completely and the audience falls silent. "Hey guys. You two are looking awfully snugly wugly. News I'm hoping you'll like to share. But first, there's a little matter of a certain redhead, and some, oh how should I say this. Vicarious death threats?" The camera focuses in to include only Willow and Buffy in the shot as Buffy glares at Willow and the petite redhead snuggles further into Tara to escape the wrath of the blond hostess.
"Um, well you see. There actually is uh, a very good um reasoning for all that. Because well you see, this is Blind Date. And well the whole idea of me and a blind date, it's just not very good. And well the death threating just seemed like the logical thing to do, at the time. But now looking at you with all your wrathliness. It seems I was very very wrong, and I will never ever send a death threat in your direction ever again." Taking a breath, Willow looks hopefully at Buffy, and finds a much less wrathful look of wrath on her face, and then turns and smiles at the blond sitting at a very close proximity beside her. "And I guess the whole blind date thing wasn't such a bad idea. Look at what it brought me. You are very wise oh marvellous show hostess." The camera pulls out to include all three in the shot as Willow leans in to kiss Tara briefly and Buffy nods her head in sage agreement with Willow's words.
"Yes, I am very wise aren't I?" As if in answer to her statement the audience applauses, and a few rowdy jocks in the front row yell out there agreement. And when the audience settles down again, Buffy looks over at Tara. "And miss blondie, you are looking rather happy aren't you? I really just gotta know, what where you thinking when you opened your door and saw the little bundle of nerves that is my best friends standing in front of you." Buffy has an almost amused expression on her face as she watches her friend squirm and act very flirtatious towards each other. The camera focuses in to include only Willow and Tara in the shot as Tara prepares to answer Buffy's question while thoughtfully biting her lower lip.
"Well actually, I wasn't really thinking much of anything. And what I was thinking I'm afraid to say, because, well, we don't want to bring back wrathful Buffy do we?" Smiling a little the blond turns and looks at Willow who is in the process of burrowing into her side in her efforts to get further away from Buffy. The camera pulls out to focus on Buffy sitting rigid in her chair and tightly clenching the arms, breathing in slow, deep breaths.
"Okay, I'm not going to get upset. It's all for the greater good. The greater good. 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10." Breathing in deeply, Buffy closes her eyes and holds up her hands to the audience. "I'm okay. No mental hospitals for Buffy" The camera pulls out and focuses once again on all three and Buffy smiles when she looks over and sees her two friend lovingly holding hands and laughing at her almost nervous breakdown. "And how could I not be okay when you two are benefiting from my mental breakdowns. Its just so, so sweet." Buffy begins to tear up again and reaches for the tissue box on the coffee table. "You two are just so sweet together. You have a, a miraculous love." Silent giggling is heard in the audience as Willow stands up to hug Buffy, and is then immediately enveloped in a slayer strength bear hug.
"Hey umm, Tara? Little help here. Breathing becoming an issue" The redhead is barely able to choke out the plea for help before Buffy pulls away and wipes her eyes, taking deep calming breaths.
"No need for help. I'm okay. I'm just a little emotional. It's just so good to see you to so happy and together again. So together. And so happy." Buffy is almost about to breakdown again as she looks up to see the stage manager signalling wrap it up and end the show. "And I think it would be a good idea for us to call it a show before I get any more emotional. But I have one more question for the two of you." Wiping her eyes and looking directly at her two friends as the camera slowly shifts its focus over to Willow and Tara. "Are you two back together again?" With the camera fully focused on the two women, Willow looks over to Tara and smiles before kissing her sweetly and holding her gaze while mouthing the question back to her. And with a smile on her face, the blond leans in and kisses Willow passionately.
"Oh yea, we definitely are"
And the screen fades to black
