Willow plotted a grand holiday celebration
decorating, she brimmed with expectation
oh she had such great plans
for her tongue and both hands
That would leave Tara swooning with sensation

They first exchanged gifts near the tree
Then Willow slyly said "now unwrap me"
clothes were very quickly shed
as they stumbled towards the bed
and made love with abandonment and glee

Merry Christmas everyone!

Willow called to her lover "my dance?"
on the surface it was innocent romance
But later that night
as their passion burned bright
the innocence was tossed with the pants

You know you've arrived when panty flinging is inspiring poetry. Nice work, Autumn.

Tara found her when no words were heard
eyes locked and hands clasped she felt stirred
with their fingers entwined
a thought rushed through her mind
that perhaps it was girls she preferred

Tara's song was a sweet serenade
with its words all her love was conveyed
Oh Willow made her complete
But off camera and discreet
Still we all knew that Tara got laid

T'were two girls from Sunnydale,
The town with the portal to Hell,
Through snuggles and spells,
Their true love still swells,
For the magic they create is real!

ok, so a lot of it didn't really rhyme, but I think it's cute. Love the limmerick thread.

Willow:I know I'm not the kind of girl vamps like to sink their teeth into. It's always like, "ooh, you're like a sister to me," or, "oh, you're such a good friend."

Tara: I'm under your spell. Lost in estacy, spread beneath my Willow tree. You make me complete.
Spike: This is the crack team that foils my every plan? I am deeply shamed.

Wonderful limericks! And it's amazing how a whole scene can be summed up in just five lines. Beautiful!

You may find me anal retentive
on poetry style this inventive
But a pattern specific
is what makes them terrific
to the rules you must be attentive

For info on the structure of the limerick go here: http://freespace.virgin.net/merrick.she ... krules.htm

you can monkey a little with the syllable pattern (as I often do), but the rhyme pattern must be a,a,b,b,a to make it a limerick. Without that you've got another form of poetry. Like the haiku the limerick is specific in structure. Like I said, you may find me anal retentive...

Willow smiled as she touched her new lover
Thrilled with every new place she'd discover
she no longer was shy
in fact she could be a spy
As she did her best work undercover

There once was a girl with flame tresses
all a tingle from Tara's caresses
she cried "oh right there"
with fists in blonde hair
and enjoyed all of sweet love's excesses

Amber Benson, what a hottie,
Wow, has she got a great body,
Were it up to me,
I'd be your "Willow tree,"
So come on babe, let's be real naughty!

I haven't checked in for a while here, caught up and nearly falling off my chair.
Great limericks... wish I could do the same *SIGH* but I don't sing, I don't dance and I am naff at Limericks and rhymes. Keep it up!

Willow's words were often quite hectic
and her "fashion" was somewhat eclectic
as she felt her body nearing
Tara found most endearing
that Willow's touch was just so electric

"Breast gal" Willow'd said with a smirk
"Oh my yes" Tara thought, that's a perk
So once they were alone
and all clothes had been thrown
Tara pointed and said "get to work"

Willow knew how to follow direction
and these merited closer inspection
So she set to her task
and in each she did bask
as her lips and her hands showed affection

There once was a girl of name maclay
Willow saw her and said I think I'm gay
both from a line of witches
really connected and shed their britches
in a flaming 'o' they they both surrendered
and told the world so what if we're the same gender?
In the body they both did kiss
I tell ya that's something you don't wanna miss
that's the end of my tale which ends with one willow hand and two gay wiccan's wail.

She offered Willow a Doll's Eye
And all that the gift did imply
Then she came to her room
for some "spells" we presume
and it was morn before they bade goodbye
