Postby Lisa of Nine » Tue Jun 26, 2001 10:18 pm

Hello everyone.
I posted this in parts on the willtara list and Xita was kind enough to let me post it here.

This is a Willow/Tara angst with a happy ending. ;-)

I am listing it in three parts.

Lisa, I loved this fic. The angst at the beginning was almost too much. But so many goodies. Hmm.. you should submit your fic to pink rabbit.

Xita,
I LOVE Pink Rabbit!
They so rock!
Glad you liked the angst. I love to combine tears with humor and of course some wiccan loving. *Preferably with levatation and or furniture breaking.*
Thank you so much for letting me post here.

I read this on willtara, Lisa. Glad you posted it here. That angst had me going crazy in parts, but wow, the bit when Tara got her memory back was just fabby.

And nice for getting rid of Kelly. Bitch. Heh heh...

I haven´t read all of it yet, but what a great fic, I really love it!!! Good job, Lisa.
As I´m going on a long trip next week, I´d like to print it out so I can take it with me to read it again. Would that be okay for you???

Already read this on the Willtara list. And given the fact I've had so little time lately to read fanfic (usually one of my fave activities) the fact it grabbed me so much should speak volumes.

Really good story.

Hi All!
I am mass replying again...is that the preferred method?

RANE SAID:
"*g* I'm a lisa cheerleader.

I also love Wiccan Ways. I have an email from then in my inbox...and I can't find the darn thing! I may have to do it the hard way and go to WW and submit... *Gasp* I think all the sites that house fan fic are incredible. People spend so much time putting things on the net for others to enjoy. Wow!

TOMMO SAID:

I SAY:
What? You didn't like Kelly? She was so sweet. *EG* And she loved Tara. ;-)
I had fun writing the memory scene. It was fun to have Tara 'telling' Willow while she was...umm... well.. 'you know.' :-)

I SAY: Ellenfan, I do not mind at all. Print off anything of mine you want. That's why I write it. Share it with people you meet on the street. All I ask is that you don't sell it as a WT novel...that would suck. ;-) Hey wait... if you want to print it up and BROKER it for me... COOL!
(kidding about the selling part... the other? "Go broker...it's your birthday!")
Glad you are enjoying it so far.

I SAY:
Thank you so much. I am thrilled the story grabbed you. I hope it was in a politically correct location... otherwise my stories might be arrested for being mashers. Thank you for the compliments. They mean a lot.

I SAY:
Stacy... you are definitely NOT a stalker. Been there...done that... bought the restraining order. (Kidding)
Thank you for all the feedback you have given me. The exact commentary really helps my writing grow.
Thanks again.

TO EVERYONE:
Thank you for making me feel welcome!

Listen, if I was Tara, I think being alone with her like that would probably wipe my mind of any coherent thought, never mind bring my memory back..

Lisa, I´ve just started to read your novel (Tears of the Goddess), and I´m more and more amazed of your writing, you have a lot of very good and funny ideas and have a good feeling for the tone of show BtVS.
I´d love to broker your stories for you, because I think they deserve to be printed, and as a matter of fact a friend of mine is a publisher - but in Germany, and I don´t think that will help you at all So sorry that I can´t be of any help, but I keep my fingers crossed, and I hope that you go on writing and sharing your stories with us!

Tommo,
I think any time alone like that with Willow or Tara would be mind blowing. Plus... the poor furniture!
Glad you liked their...alone time. ;-)

ELLENFAN,
thank you for the wonderful compliments!
Now, if you could get some publisher pals in the US...all would be well.
Thanks again,
Lisa

I think my favorite part, aside from all the good W/T loving (loved how they blamed Kelly for the broken kitchen table!) was how the Scoobies got past the security in the hotel. Willow and Buffy as groupies -- too funny! And Giles pinching...I can't give it away, just read it!

Lisa, Lisa, Lisa...

I have always loved your stories, but this time you have out done yourself. How did you do this? Not only with the entertaing yet very angsty plot (I love angst) but with all of the research you did for this story.

Being the person that I am and given the subject matter, I naturally did Google searches on all the demons, spells and even the police code used. I love authenticity in stories. I love when authors take the time and trouble to make their stories as authentic as possible.

Thank you Lisa.

Now I have to get back to finishing the story... I left right after Will and Tara cast the big sun ball spell. I couldn't wait to tell you how much I am enjoying this story.

Thanks again for all your hard work.

Hey CaptMurdock,
I am so glad you liked that part. I thought that method of sneaking in was funny, but I was really worried no one else would. I am thrilled to be wrong. Also.. the image of Giles swatting... it just cracks me up. *G* I could see him doing that in a minor Ripper flashback. You KNOW Ripper was a wildman!
As for the table... at least Kelly was good for something. ;-)

Paula, Paula, Paula...
first, thank you. *G*
Second, I can't believe you looked all that stuff up! I thought only I did things like that. I try to do lots of research on the goddesses and other things for myself, so it feels authentic when I write it. I had no idea anyone else checked!

You'll love what I'm working on for the next story... I found an ancient goddess who could very well be Glorificus! She was a bit whacko, and among her many duties... (In addition to love & war) was... ahem... FASHION. Also, to worship her...you made an offering at DAWN, in a... WAREHOUSE, and I found an ancient chant that ends with a reference to GLORY. Oh, and she spent time in hell being tortured. ;-) Sounds like our Glory. Hopefully it won't take to long to finish. Here's a spoiler: it has ANGST. ;-)
Thanks for the comments,
Lisa

Ah Lisa after all these years, I would have thought you would have expected me to look up all those things.

You know I sit with the search engines open looking for all kinds of strange, unusual and metaphysical things.
