Thanks for the praise, people. I don't think I'm that good, really - I just spend a long time until I get it right.

Hey. These are really nice. These are done in what? Pencil? If so, might i recommend that you get one of those fancy pencil sets with all the different types of lead in them? (softer-darker, harder-lighter) These look to me like just one type of pencil. Am I wrong? It's hard to tell on the computer.
These are great, I'd just like to see what you could do using different leads. And... where'd you put that pastel one?

Just HB and 2B - HB for the line, and then 2B for the shading. You can see it better if you look at the full size pics. I've used more pencils in the past (sometimes as many as 6), but like most artists I find I work better with just a couple of pencils. Those pencil sets are just a way of making us buy more than we need!

Wonderful job UHS. It's really great to watch an artist grow in their work and you have done so beautifully. Each one of your drawings, that I've seen, holds so much character and certainly portrays a certain personal touch that really catches my eye. Hope to see many many more from you.
