i really really miss my girlfriend!!! we've been apart for over a year now because of so many things that life requires.
i would do anything just to be with her, and stay beside her for the rest of my life, maybe a barter system would help for me to get the only thing that i hope and wish for. my question for you dear kittens, what are some of the things that you already have that you also dearly love and that you are also willing to trade just to be able to get that one thing you really really really need?

i'm gonna trade my job, my home theater system, my computer, my dog, my cd collection, probably even sex and maybe everything that i have from the tiniest object to the biggest, just to be with her!!! i miss her so much, being far away from her like this is really killing me!:cry

as for willow and tara, i think both of them are willing to trade everything they have for as long as they will always be together.

:cry :cry :cry

Good morning and Happy Friday!!
As a mother, I can honestly say that I would give my last dying breath for either one of my kids. But that goes without saying.
As far as being with someone I loved, there are a lot of things I would give up to be with them. I don't think giving up material things would matter. I think more like personal sacrafices such as giving up a job to move to another area just to stay together. I have made many personal sacrafices in my life to keep a relationship together only to have it fall apart but if two people care enough for one another, and both are willing to make sacrafices, then there is nothing you can't work through.
Love is a two way street and both parties are needed to keep it strong and alive.

Enjoy your Friday everyone!!

Love to All,
Barb

Mornin' folks,

Barb I agree with you. Love is definately a two way street. I don't have much use for money or possessions, just more crap to have to move.

I'm fairly adept at making things happen, and I would make many trade-offs to be with a gf. I really don't see myself choosing to be with a girl who wouldn't do the same for me.

One of my little mottos is :

'Being challenged in life is inevitable.
Being defeated is optional.'

My two yen for the day kitties,

Right there with you, barb and tiyo, about love being a two-way street. I've found this to be a large red flag in a relationship: when I'm willing to turn down work (abigsacrifice in my profession) so that we can have more time together, and the woman-of-the-moment is not willing to make similar sacrifices. Either we're both willing to bend and compromise at times in favor of nurturing a lasting relationship, or I'm out of there. If one person is making all of the concessions, it's not a relationship or a partnership.

Nice lady? Yes. Doormat? Nope.
