I adore the Christmas Tree Shoppes, but they're only in New England. :cry They always have weird, neat stuff, and they're really cheap.

I desperately want to see the Two Towers. I'm going to convince my nephews that they want to see it too, so that when my father takes them to the movies, I can tag along. :party

I've been so busy that I didn't even get to post yesterday. I went down to Social Security, and finally got my name changed! I so happy. :bounce

It's looking like I might get to the Catskill con. Woo hoo. I might even be cheery next week. :sh

Daydreams, my local comic book shop in Iowa City, is my favorite place to shop. That and the Borders bookstore in the shopping center right behind mysister's house in Germantown, Maryland.
"The Two Towers" is just bloody brilliant, if I could add my opinion. I saw it this afternoon and the Battle of Helm's Deep is simply physically draining to watch. The sights, the sounds, the smells, the amount of energy expended, you are drawn in like no other film experience in recent memory.
It is rare these days to be in the presence of cinematic greatness but Peter Jackson's landmark achievement bears all of the hallmarks of legendary status.

my comics i get from a local shop called Comics Corner. Malaysia has only 2 comic shops with a few branches around the country. The other got a piece of my mind and firing from me. I pulled all my orders from them.

For clothes... I'm all for Sub. A Hong Kong line of clothes... very well designed and good quality.

Shoes... no particular branding... but i like Hush Puppies and Larrie Leisures.

I like European shoes as my feet are sized in centimeters, not inches.[img:fb5c88a812]http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/wink.gif[/img:fb5c88a812] I'm really happy with my Eccos right now.

One more day til I see [i:fb5c88a812]The Two Towers[/i:fb5c88a812]....

Penguin Place is my favourite place to shop online. So many penguins, so little money.

How can anyone not like Trader Joes? They sell chocolate in giant blocks. That alone should qualify them for sainthood.

I get my chocolate from Bernard Callebaut. We used to order it in 50 pound blocks as a group so my office had wrapping paper, postage scale, etc. so we could divide up the blocks when they came in. I suspect we looked a little like a drug operation...

Ooh, good tiramisu! I can always use that.

I love Cibo's in Monteray, CA, and Beesaw's in Portland, OR used to be great and is still good, and there was this lovely place in Venice which took us hours to find but which was so worth it.

Darkmagicwillow-The smells could have been coming from the three people sitting behind me who apparently were trying to do some role-playing by not having bathed since the Third Age of Middle-Earth.;)
