Yes... I've just been banned from chat. It was an exhilarating experience, I must say.

So... thread question: Would Willow and Tara ever get banned from anywhere and for what?

I think most definitely. For having naughty relations in the Bronze... or perhaps a classroom on the campus.

Okay, I admit it. I'm actually talking about me! It's a tendency of mine to rearrange cds in music shops when they're not in order. Because - order! Very important! Y'know, I've never been banned from anywhere. Which is surprising, considering my tendency to say what I think a lot of the time. Honesty...it's not all it's cracked up to be, heh.

I've never been banned, but I was once thrown out of a bar for falling asleep under a pool table. My friends tried to forestall the inevitable by throwing their coats on me and telling the bouncer, "No, that's just a pile of coats. With, um...feet." I'm still living that one down.

oh, apparently, i was to be excommunicated from the unitarian universalist church for wearing socks with sandals. you know you can believe whatever you want, but they disapprove of socks and sandals. <shrug>

Well, I agree that Willow and Tara could talk their way out of pretty much anything but if they were ever caught having sex in the bathroom of the Bronze I'm positive they couldn't get out of that banning...

As for me I've only been banned from some place once. There was a HUGE party in the Coffee House on my campus last year and everyone was drinking, smoking and whatever so a whole group of my friends and myself started smoking a bowl. The manager, who I knew, came over and said she didn't mind us smoking but that we had to take it outside. So, of course, we did. Well, the next day I got a call from someone in Student Activities saying that since I was the only person in the group that the managers knew that I was now banned from the Coffee House. Fucked up, right? I mean, there were six other people with me! Oh well, no biggie. They let me back in this year so whatever...

To get in to chat you need to install Java, I think that's probably your problem. You can get it here for Internet Explorer, or here for everything else.

Who can ban W/T from anything? With Willow's puppy dog look and Tara's saucy vixen look, noone stands a chance. I bet they would protest banned items like books and Wicca stuff.
I've never been banned from anything but, my girl was thrown out of a mall for sketching people for a reason they wouldn't say and we cannot figure out.

I could see Willow and Tara getting banned from multiple places for public sex. Although, I'm pretty sure that would be the only reason they could get banned from anywhere. They're just too damned nice to do anything really bad.

I've never been banned from anywhere, but I've been kicked out of places before. The last time was when I went home from college for a weekend and some friends and I decided to take a camcorder out and film random things. We've done it many times before and in many places, but when we walked into a local Taco Bell a manager started screaming about how cameras weren't allowed in the restaraunt and told us to leave. Wonder what they're hiding?

Yeah, I've been banned. From a Willow&Tara list . . . I helped found (I just forgot to get the key to the EZBoard washroom!). It's kind of comical how I have to login to post *here* then log-off to browze *there*.

Being banned does show you a whole other side to people, though. The whole "absolute power corrupts absolutely" thang? Tis' true, I'm afraid.

I can imagine a little war going on inside Willow during some classes. High school Willow would never have spoken out of turn/shown less than 100% respect for The Teacher . . . and there's still some of that Willow left inside. College/Wicca/OUT! Willow can hear about "20 issues and be angry about all of them," and moreover, has increasingly given voice to that anger---especially when it's about a Gross Injustice. Yeah, I can imagine Willow getting banned from a class, or a club, or a chat.

Tara? Only for fighting back if Willow got banned!

Being banned: I was nearly thrown out of a softball game that where I was keeping the score... figure that one out!!! But the umpire had a bigger problem than trying to call the game..

Willow & Tara: I can see them getting banned/expelled for standing up for something they believed in or felt strongly about... ethics or equality or diversity... stuff like that...

Well, I havent really been banned from anywhere yet must be my charming irresistible ways. NOT.

But Ive been kicked out of a two-day anti-smoking seminar once, for asking too many questions. See, the lecturer was going on and on about how tobacco had camel-poop in it, and I was like, But doesnt cigarette paper contain over 5000 chemicals toxic to man, more than 3000 of them cancerous? So he was like, I was getting there, which is, yknow, Teacher-ish for You smartass

Well I imagine Tara might get banned from her hometown church for her lifestyle, cause they sound pretty harsh. Willow, I imagine, could probably get kicked out of computer hardware for scaring off costumers using her almighty powers of tech-babbling. I myself can only take about thirty seconds of computer shop-talk after that I feel so stupid I have to go away.

As a tranny, I've found it's sometimes easier to keep track of the places I'm welcome...and sadly, employers seem to be almost 100% the other kind.

Ooh, that sounds really pathetic. It's a lot more like a serious inconvenience than an existential crisis. I actually get a lot more upset by Joss interviews.

Well.....I got banned from a football match I was a little vocal with my opinions. Anyone who knows me will recognise this. I have a big mouth when it gets working. Just a little inconvenient for people who are with me sometimes

I also managed to get a lifetime ban from a local park. This was very silly and I do go there again now. I was smoking some "funny" cigarettes with some friends when the police came......a little back chat from me and we all ended up with a life ban. Ooops! I think the lifetime ban was something just to scare us in to behaving a little more lady like! Did it work?

I have been banned from bars in the Southern Illinois area and I have been banned from a few Buffy related boards.

Seems to have something to do with my attitude. That is I seem to have one.

I've never been banned for life, officially. I have been kicked out of many places, including department stores (for playing with things in the toy department - how will I know I like it enough to buy it if I can't play with it first?!), the movie theatre (you aren't supposed to throw Skittles at people? Even if you know them and it's a joke?), McDonald's (well, the place kind of *was* a dump ... for God's sake they were building a new McDonald's across the street from the old building at the time because it was easier than fixing the old one!), and even the drive-in (I don't know how that bra got on the windshield in the first place! And I hit the windshield wipers on accident! I didn't notice it launched the bra onto a blanket full of 12-year-olds!!). You know you're good at getting kicked out of places when they can throw you out of the drive-in, because you can't get yelled at for MST3K-ing in your own car.
