I agree with you theatremouse, I could believe that they watched Clarissa.

Mainly because I watched that. And Hey Dude. I loved Brad.

The only other Nick shows that I watched (we only got cable when I was 14) were nick-at-night, if those count. My favorite was "Get Smart". I think that 99 was so hot then, and she's still a good looking woman. Don Adams did not hold up so well.

After a few years, my favorite became the Mary Tyler Moore show. I love that show.

I wish Nick at Nite would go back the CLASSIC shows that it used to have. And AMC, I wonder how they can misinterpret the "classic" in their name..

Don't know much about Merkin telly shows they would've watched. I wasn't into television much as a kid, always too busy off climbing trees and such.

Even now I don't watch much. Used to watch Voyager. I'm still watching x files but that's almost over too.

Spent hours yesterday playing tekken 4, and have a sneaking suspicion I'll be playing it again today.

elianna hifive, i'm soooooo with you on all of that. i got a mets hat when i was seven cuz of that show. fun times. (i think its no more arbitrary a way of picking a team than where you happen to live) those were good times. also, i'm suddenly struck that, though it may be nearly ironic, methinks willow mightve watched count duckula, as a wee lass, and enjoyed it immensely. mmm.... end of thoughts.
peace.

Ooohh [b:728108db7e] Autumn[/b:728108db7e] you must give us a report on how you like TiVo! Everyone I know that has ever gotten it now raves and raves about it. Like it's a religious experience or something. So I'm eager to hear your opinions. As for Lassie . . . do you have an affinity for blondes?

And [b:728108db7e] Vix84[/b:728108db7e], we must have the same mother. Mine never figured out I might be gay even when I dropped subtle hints like "Mom this is my girlfriend. We are very much in love with each other." Mom accepted that my gf was gay, but somehow remained convinced that I was not. :sigh Mothers, gotta love 'em.

But Mom LOVED rainbow stuff. She had rainbow flags, rainbow windsocks, rainbow stickers on her cars and even a rainbow windbreaker and hats. And not the style of rainbows that could be construed as some sort of "my-little-pony-pastel" type rainbows. All of hers were clearly gay pride merchandise. Riding around with Mom was like having my own private gay pride parade. :)

I'm thinking Willow might've gotten a thing for Cheetara with the sixth sense and all

ahhhh , THUNDERCATS! me and my friends still love them after all these years , although of course when we play i have to be snarf because the older kids would beat up if i wasn't ....;) not really , but` we do still play , and instead of a real life momraaaaaaaaa , we have a half-naked old man stepdad of one of my friends. you see , he went to public school and knows nothing of modesty.

don't forget he-man and she-rah! ........."by the power of grayskull!" or something like that , i imagine i have got it all wrong.....

oh yeah , does anyone remember those really bad australian / american T.V series that were put on saturday mornings , one was called "The girl from tommorrow" and the other was about a boy who was on a quest to get his smile back from a 'baron' who had stolen it , but in return he won every bet he made....

strange the things you remember......

The show's creator and producer, Roger Price, was from the UK. I vaguely remember hearing him talk about doing an earlier version of the show over there. He's best known in the UK, though, for being the creator and producer of [i:9422365a7a] The Tomorrow People[/i:9422365a7a], which later ran on Nickelodeon. I think he did another version of it for Nickelodeon later on, too.

I think Willow and Tara would watch 'Sabrina the Teenage Witch', if only to correct all her technical mistakes. :) Also considering all those instances where Sabrian mind controlled someone, or threatened to cause a disaster and it's clear where Willow got all those bad ideas from.

Oh my god! I loved the Tomorrow People!!!! I watched that all the time when it was on. I was so disappointed when they canceled it.

Thundercats is still on Cartoon Network sometimes, i think. Cheetara was definitely my favorite. And they just started a new re-make of the he-man series. I hope they do She-Ra, she was my absolute favorite.

[Rally (and any other kittens I may have emailed at some point), it was my wonderful computer that got infected with the extremely annoying klez virus, but is now all fixed. Sorry 'bout that!]

:lol
Exactly like my mom! Uncanny, really. Especially the rainbow stickers, hats and, of course, the windbreaker. :eek Hmm it's kinda interesting to ponder....

I love how you described driving with her as a gay pride parade! I generally avoid my mom when she (or the car) are in rainbow mood. It's all a bit too much for me. :D
