Rally - sorry to hear about all the ructions at work. I worked for a large corporate for 11 years and went through about 4 major restructures. Your description of the staff presentations etc. are so spot on. Anyway, the last restructure was a biggie and I was made redundant at the end of May. For me its been a really positive experience as its given me a chance to consider changing direction or retraining. I know its probably the "cup half full" syndrome but just wanted to let you know that sometimes it works out OK.

And on topic - got the T-shirt and the coffee mug. I usually don't wear the T-shirt out (I use it to wear to bed - too much information?) but I never thought of it as a pick up device. I may need to rethink.

[b:9af4914caf] Julia[/b:9af4914caf], I missed your birthday, well damn, and you got a job too, well double damn, I mean it is good news for you of course, but I missed a perfectly fine opportunity to troll for some lapgrinding on the board. Ah well, just my luck, can't even get lucky on the internet anymore these days, guess I am too old. Congrats anyway dear, on both counts. :love

[b:9af4914caf] Ruth[/b:9af4914caf], your little anecdotes about you and your mother never cease to crack me up, it would make a damn fine comedy show I tell you. :laugh

Anyway, as for my Kitten shirt, hunm, well I guess I will have to start wearing it if I am ever going to get a reaction. I am hesitant to wear it as I am worried it might get damaged. I am odd that way. I guess I just have to order a few more, but the black one is special and rather unique, so I will be very careful with it. In any case if I do wear it here in Holland I dont expect to get (m)any comments, not by strangers anyway, we just don't do that, and in this country of 16 million people the odds are higher of me getting struck by lightening than me meeting fellow BtVS or WT fans in the streets.

See, if I was like Garfield I'd treat my kitten shirt with the respect it deserves, being a unique black one. Instead it's already got a hole in it. Heh. Ooops.

And Garfield, yes, to the outsider my mother and I are a bumbling rambling comedy show. I know I spend most of my time laughing at her "crazy antics" hysterically. Or should that just be that I spend most of my time in a hysterical state? Hmm. Can't decide.

Anyhoo, glad you like it. ;)

And Julia...if you didn't spend all day grinding on your gf, we might have met earlier. Humph. I mean on the net! On the net! :rolleyes

Julia happy late birthday.

Todays T - Shirt iam wearing says "Shit happens" its one of my favourites, apart from my willow and tara one :grin

Bought myself a "Bad Girls" (pun intended)-shirt at the Werchter festival. It's my first two-coloured one: black short sleeves, white body, that has got pistols on it (I used to shoot, on cards, not people, indoor in a club, distance: 10 meter, with an air rifle, occassionally crossbow, hence...) I discovered it has a stain on it: hope it gets washed out, otherwise, I'll probably have to cover it with my ponytail or something... And that it doesn't shrink (already got a Gab-like Xena-shirt like that: dunno if people find it sexy, I feel rather embarassed wearing it now). We'll see.

After Xena ended, I went out to get a shirt printed to wear at the next meeting. Text: "Her soulmate got killed and all she got was this lousy tattoo." I'm seriously considering letting another one get made for W/T...

The kitten-shirt looks cute ! Hmm... <G>
