:blush I just get so excited with new toys, I found out how to change that title through CSS and I can't stop now :d

oh and by the way if you are curious the name is short because they changed the settings and limited the characters. But I complained and got a response :

ezboard 7.0 will correct this problem. The limit will then be 70 characters.

Xita just does that once in a while to make us think we are crazy. And she likes playing with things.

okay, I feel really sheepish even asking this, because I don't want to beat a dead horse or anything, but...

after pretty much giving up on S7 after all the buzz and that Amber herself said her character wouldn't be back...

I just happened to look on the tv guide online listings, and in their little blip for the second ep airing oct. 1st ("beneath you" or "under you" or something), AMBER'S NAME WAS IN THE CREDITS. ...does this mean anything to anyone????? have we reason to hope...?

TV Guide messed up. It doesn't mean anything other than they need better editors.

Oh yeah. Boy, does she ever. ;)

I keep saying this and I know I'm getting repetitive, but until I see hard indisputable facts, I won't believe what I read. Or hear. Or imagine. Or y'know...anything.

Don't know if this is helpful for anyone, but who knows. ;)

Though Joerg's (Psyche's) site still seems to be down, you can access all his Buffy scripts via Google - just search for the episode's title and then use the the Google cache (the "Cached" link) to read the script.

OK maybe it is just me, but is there some problem with EZ Boards? For some reason whenever I try to mark a forum read tonight I get a blank page with "not authorized" at the top, and yet I am able to mark all forums read just fine from the main forum page. Just not individual forums. It is making me cranky.

xita, marking any single forum is "not authorized"... I got knocked off of something & had to relogin, but I can't remember which one/where. But, as Autumn said, you can go to the main kitten page & mark them all read. (wish we could mark individual threads read)

I have a question about kittenchat (cause I'm a technical idiot). Can you access chat through Yahoo Messenger? I set up Messenger the other day but just can't figure it out.

You need to IM someone who is in the room. Or put them on your buddy list and join them in chat through messenger. Once there you can add the room to your favorites so you can access it any time. One drawback to that is if you're the first one in and not using the java room, voice won't work then.

I finally got to watch Family. It's always missed it before due to a wonki VCR and bad timing or whatever. All I can say is Wow. I've watched the last dance scene about 20 times already. Does anyone know who wrote the "I can't take my eyes off of you" song? Because I loved it and must find a copy of it so that I can listen to it over and over to remind myself of W/T snuggles. Anyone have any info on it? Thanks!

ezboard is logging me off everytime I change pages!!! is it "broken" again??

edited to add: although if no one else is having problems, my firewall (&/or netscape7) may be acting wonky..... :mad

edited again to add: no, it isn't netscape, 'cause IE is doing it, too... :mad

This is why Mozilla is my new best friend.

Do you have the high security preference switched on by any chance? If not then it's just EZ Board being crazy again, most likely.

No, it is happening on almost a regular basis and it wasn't happening until this morning... it will run a few pages & then I'm logged out...really funky weird... and, yes, I should be using mozilla but there are some places I go that require IE or netscape, even though netscape is a mozilla-clone.. :grin

I guess Brian convinced you to go mozilla?

yeah, he's quite the swe.. **changes to newscaster-style voice** he's quite the persuader, isn't he???

Actually, both Brian & a local non-kitten have been trying to convince me about mozilla. (the non-kitten is also a linux fan) I did try it, but went back to netscape. If ezboard doesn't quit with the problems, I may put my fist through the monitor... but then I "still" wouldn't be able to stay logged on, or at least know if I was logged on or not... :grin

Hust FYI, these problems were happening to me with the latest Mozilla browser the other day, so I don't think it was browser related at all.

Hmm, thanks Autumn. Maybe I've just been lucky. I only use Mozilla for this board and I haven't had any problems at all staying logged in.

It's been sporadic. When I was having trouble the other day it was only for a while and I tried it on 3 different browsers to make sure and then it was somehow fixed. I think, reading their support stuff EZ Boards has been tweaking with their security - which is why everyone got logged off the other day and perhaps all the kinks have yet to be ironed out.

Well seems my Mozilla pimping is working :lol

There are many reasons to use Mozilla, but for me, the biggest single reason is TABS.

Once you browse with tabs, you can never go back :grin

What would take me forever to catch up on the board, after being away for several hours, now takes me a few minutes with tabs, I have used tabs before when I had Opera, but after seeing the way they work in Mozilla, it's sooo much better than the way Opera does it. There's just no going back after using Mozilla :party

Brian,

Net7 has tabs now.. but I don't use them.. I just have about 500 windows open.. ok, not that many, but I have too many open sometimes. But I have dialup & I hate waiting for the pages to load. this way, I can look at one page while the rest are loading.

But I'll be looking at mozilla.... again.. :grin

I have been paying attention to how high security keeps track of stuff. It logs you off if you change connections (like cable to dial up), and if you switch browsers.
