Yay! Times like these make me so happy that I'm a spoiler-free kitty! That last scene surprised me completely (in a wonderful kind of way). Our favorite couple are back! Now that we've seen one great kiss, I want one next week and the week after that...

The rest of the ep was okay. Anya and Spike were annoying. Dawn was cute. Xander, whatever. Buffy, hang in there.

As someone who's probably one of the biggest spoiler whores, [b:f5c086428d] June Leigh[/b:f5c086428d], it did kind of take away the surprise factor for me. However, make no mistake that it was still a GREAT kiss. I think maybe I could reform and learn to be spoiler free if they just didn't give me these huge chunks of time every spring where I'm left with reruns and the chance to let my mind (and internet browser) wander.

Heh, I wish I could say it was all due to my strong will, but thesis and midterms sort of take my time away from the internet where spoilers lurk. I'm glad that you still enjoyed it though.

In San Francisco, the kiss clocked in at 9 seconds, and then a very rough edit to see "executive producers Joss Whedon/Marti Noxon" for several more seconds than usual.

Mrs. Wiccie had to keep me from throwing the cat at the television set. I knew I'd been shorted, and in the freakin' Gay Mecca of all markets.

Still, much yumminess to be had...

9 seconds? Did you tape it, or did you have a stopwatch handy during the airing ... just in case?

I understand you being upset about being shorted in the ``Gay Mecca of all markets,'' but I, for one, am glad. If each station could do its own edit, here in the Heart of Dixie we'd get cut about 1 second before the kiss. And before The Body kiss. And probably before each instance of W/T touching. And before each mention of them being lesbian or gay. And before Larry ends his denial. Heck, they'd probably just cut out Tara altogether.

Well the offical time from the feeds seems to be about 12 seconds. They cut a good 4-6 seconds off the end, just straight off, you can watch the progression of Willow's left hand to get an idea of where the cut occured.

Yeah, and not only that, but they cut out the BEST 4-6 seconds. Why couldn't they have done some artsy Godard thing if they were going to cut, and just go straight from the Will smile to the middle of the kiss. Heck, just leave the kiss and take away some Spike / Anya drunken redundant expository angst.

yay! i liked the episode... very entertaining. all of it.

i was happy anya was back but i hope she breaks here necklace that way there will be no bad wishing in the future. and i don't like hallie... she brings nothing but bad news.

xander has been sad to me lately... i understand that he has screwed up something big but he is going to extremes with the way he treats spike. plus i don't think i can look at him the same now that he's done that to anya.

yay willow and tara goodness... obviously i'm a fan. all their scenes were cute. in front of the class... the coffee... and espicially the end with the kissing. yay kissing. i'm doing a little mental happy dance.

i wasn't a fan of the spike and anya sex... but considering they are two of the most sexually explicit characters on the show...

oh yeah it was very very funny when dawn walked in when they were watching spike and anya and willow pushed her head. oh oh and when buffy is talking to dawn and pulling weight and tells dawn that technically you're one and a half. ok i bette rgo for now... but once again yay lesbian kissing.

Why am I here? Oh yeah. What everbody is raving about... THE KISS. Willow and Tara. Amber and Aly. The episode. Wow. Just Wow. And what everybody said. And it was only the caps I saw and a small clip of the kiss. Imagine if I could see that on network TV. Too bad 'cause here in my part of the world, it's still Season 5 they're showing on TV. And the next worse thing is, the season just started. So imagine when I'm gonna see Season 6 and this damn hot kiss. Probably year 2004. Real bummer. But again, THE KISS was so hot.

TLE (may I call you TLE?*G*), I taped and counted "thousands" and *almost* reached 12, then mrs.wiccie said I was counting too fast, so at the end of the ep I checked the timing three more times.

And each time it added up to 9 seconds.

Well this is what I get for trying to sleep after the show tonight. Having all you people comment on this glorious event before me. But, here goes....

Lest you forget in your happily addled minds, but there was more than one kiss: by my count there were at least a half-dozen in the version I saw in Phoenix.

Also the last time they kissed this often, an 'S' rating was put on the show for sex, even though no one actually had sex in "The Body". Of course, that was The WB network (stands for The Wimpy Buttheads network). When I didn't see the 'S' rating for tonight even though Spike and Anya went at it in The Magic Box, I thought for sure I'd be watching for naught given the rumors/spoilers. Was pleasantly surprised.

Speaking of Spike and Anya, that was a BIG surprise. In the preview for this ep, I thought it was Spike and Buffy caught on camera; glad it wasn't. At any rate my contacts fogged up when those two started. They should've let our girls do the same. [b:1f2fa21cbd] I NEED MY VICARIOUS ORGASMS.[/b:1f2fa21cbd]

Reviewing non-W/T performances: Everyone was outstanding. Buffy/Dawn interaction a plus; whether it involved window shopping or patrol discussion. Dawn wanting to truly be more adult; great. Buffy playing the good sister; even better, she's gone back to her protective common-sense self. And she's been Spike free for (insert # of days)___ now. Anya; well you people have said enough. This more than makes up for her absence in the previous ep (someone should hand Emma Caufield an Emmy for this one alone, though she probably won't get it).

As for Xander; with all due respect kitties, give the dude a break. His family f*cked him up big time, and he's spent the past 6 years trying to fix himself. At least he's trying: always has. Unlike a certain bleached blond buff boy, he acknowledges his misdeeds and tries, for the most part, to rectify them. Once he learns how to use his brain better, he'll be The Man. Mark my words.

One last thing, was that last scene great or what?!
Obviously, some of my fellow kitties have already got the download; just direct me to the nearest site so I can have my turn. It would figure that the cable man would cut off my hot line before I could record this; the VCR reception for taping purposes sucks blue whale here.

I am not sure what you are getting at Ruby, but the singing aside, Tara was not under a mind control spell in OMWF, she never was under a 'mind control' spell, Willow erased a memory of a fight, twice, and we have discussed it at the time and it was bad, but Tara knows what happened and she is there now to move forward with Willow. Maybe that dress was hanging there to remind Willow of the pleasure that was had during OMWF, the pleasure they are about to enjoy again.

Well i watched my tape and then I went back to watch my download.

It looks like to me that UPN here in Chicago cut nothing. Same amount of time, credits appear to sysnch up with the Alison Krause song. It looks like we got it all in Chicago!!!

In "OAFA", Spike ostensibly didn't recognize Halfrek as anyone familiar because she was in her "demon" guise. However, in last night's episode he got a real good look at "human" Halfrek when he walked in on her and Anya's discussion at the Magic Shop.

Also, I gotta say I almost fell off my chair laughing at Willow's "if I wasn't gay before..." line .
