Okay, so I'm a day early. I hope nobody minds.
Christmas Eve is actually a much busier day for me. I have two singing gigs in quick succession. One choir is singing in the big LA County Holiday Celebration down at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. We're supposed to go on at 5:40pm and sing four Christmas Carols. I hope they don't run behind, because I then must hurry back up the Pasadena Freeway for a 6:30pm warmup at my church!
Fortunately, the actual service doesn't start until 8:00, so I have plenty of time - but warmups are important. If you get LA's PBS station KCET, you'll be able to see the entire Dorothy Chandler program, since they'll be carrying it live. As I said, my group - the Occidental-Foothill Master Chorale - is supposed to go on at 5:40pm.
Yesterday my church choir premiered a brand-new anthem, Comfort, O Comfort My People, written for us by jazz musician Bill Cunliffe. I've got a recording of our performance online now, and I'd like to share it with you as my Christmas Eve gift. You can choose from two options:
RealMedia - Not quite as good audio quality, but ready right away.
MP3 - A really big file (9MB), but much better audio.
What do all of you have planned for your Christmas Eve? I hope you all have a great day!

and peace!
and hugs to all!!!!!

) to speak of and possibly show off to them
