First and formost and always, my amazing girlfriend (and in hopefully not too long my fiance). [img:34b230355b]http://smilies.networkessence.net/s/contrib/guus/liefde.gif[/img:34b230355b] Shes what Im the most thankful for (except God....no I didnt forget him, but Im not gonna mention him because thats a personal relationship. ). Shes kept me sane when I was about to loose it completely, she opened the door and helped me find who I really am, shes opened her heart not only to me but to my family like no-one ever has, Ive learned how to love because of her. Shes there, even though shes not beside me, but shes always in my heart and on my mind and only 10 numbers away, anytime, day or night. I could babble on forever about her alone, but Im not because I dont have to. She knows every word of what I could write and every feeling I have for her. Shes my always and I love her. I'm thankful for once again feeling the rush and exhilarating sensation of newfound romantic possibilities with a woman I've been friends with for a few months now.
It's that indescribably delicious feeling when you both realize that you've become more than friends and you have transcended to that Elysian plateau of romantic desire and attraction.
The energy crackles between you when you are near each other, you get dizzy and lightheaded and can't help smiling when she enters the room, you tune out all other sounds when she speaks as her voice is a mellifluous tinkle amongst the harsh cacophony of the world.
I don't ask for Willow/Tara goodness as that's setting one's sights a little too high but my woman is wonderful and makes me feel special as well.

It's not Thanksgiving here in Canada, but I still have a lot to be thankful for.

I'm thankful to W/T and the kitten board, who helped me to accept and love myself.

I'm thankful that I have a wonderful best friend. I came out to her last night and she took it really well

I'm thankful for the immense relief I feel after finally coming out to someone important in my life (well, rl anyway, I came out here a long time ago)

I'm thankful for my sweet girl, who makes me sooo happy. I don't deserve her, but I love her and I'm so thankful that she loves me too.

I'm thankful for my grandmother who went through the trouble to make me her own special stuffing because she knows it's just about the only thing I actually eat on Thanksgiving and since this year we're going to another relatives (for the first time and it's gonna suck) she didn't want me to go without. That and I'm also thankful for lesbian lovin' and caramel filled chocolates.

I'm thankful that somehow, over many many miles and twists of destiny, I found the sweetest girl from Kansas to be my sweetheart! And then even more thankful that she said she'd leave everything behind there and come to England with me!
What I'm not chuffed about is she is currently back in the US eating pumpkin pie and I am back in rainy England with out said pie! Oh, and without her too, of course!!
I am thankful that in 32 days she'll be back by my side and we can see 2003 in together again. And extremely thankful that instant message means we can be on the computer for hours on end!!!!!!

I have a lot to be thankful for. At the top of my list has to be having two happy healthy children and the opportunity to watch them grow up and become such fine human beings.

Our Thanksgiving tradition includes eating a smoked turkey, drinking some wine, and just hanging out around the house all day. Then some more eating, then some more drinking...

They taught me to be who I am, that it was ok and they love me for it. (fools). Who were there when my soul no longer was (Kate I love you. Don't worry.) and taught me to love again.

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here in Malaysia. But I do... like many others have stuff to thank for. Here's what I have to thank for in no particular order.

My girlfriend, My family, My job (even if I don't like it but it's bringing in cash), My friends (who are true friends to me), the kittenboard (where I met my girl ) and my skills as a designer (which i am still a little doubtful)

Sometimes you don't realize there is so much to be thankful for. I won't bore you with the long list...I'll just post the short version.

I'm thankful for: Having a belief in God, having wonderful friends (both old and those I've only had for a little while), having a job where I can learn a lot and help others, having the desire to change (albeit slowly) those bad/unhealthy habits, having a roof over my head, being able to help my mom with the things she can't always do...but most of all...I realize I'm thankful just to be alive. There's something here for me to do, and I have to remember that I have to be here to do it!

Good morning!

I'm thankful for the fact that we here at the Kitten Board have survived - and thrived, even - through what has to have been one of the most difficult years any fan community has had to endure.

I'm thankful for the 16 months I've now been able to go on my own since quitting my engineering job, and for the fact that I have a very good chance of keeping my new career going and avoiding a return to engineering.

I'm thankful for my grandfather's life, and the peaceful nature of his death.

I'm thankful that my cat Eugenie is still with me, even though the vet and I both thought she wouldn't live through September.

And my list goes on, but I think that'll do for now.

Later today I'll be cheering on my Indiana Pacers as they take on the still-undefeated Dallas Mavericks. And depending on the weather, I might be heading out to nearby Irwindale Speedway for the last auto race of the year, the annual Turkey Night Grand Prix. Newly-crowned NASCAR Winston Cup champion Tony Stewart will be in the race, along with some other NASCAR and USAC stars.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone,

I would have to say that I am thankful for my family and all they have given to me. My parents for their love and support, and my brother for being there for me in his own unique way. Also I am thankful for my brother and his wife as they will be having their first child soon, (now maybe my mother will stop pressuring me to give her a grandchild ).

I recently went to help out at the Dallas Life Center, a shelter here in town, and it really opened my eyes to see just how well I have it.

Also I have to say that, BBOvenGuy, I too will be watching the Mavs @ Pacers game today. However, I will be cheering on the other side . I happen to work for the Mavs, and I guess that I have to show some loyalty and hope that our winning streak continues. I know it will be hard, especially with Reggie Miller back in the lineup.

I am thankful for many things this year....but I am mostly thankful for one thing...

This year I have had a lot of very negative things happening in my life. Many of these things have gone on throughout my entire life...but this year there is someone there to help me through it all.

I am thankful for that person who gives me a reason to wake up every morning, and helps me go to bed every night.

I am thankful for the person who helps me get through each day like no one else could.

I am thankful for that person who helps me realize that I really am beautiful, and who has shown me, through herself, what true beauty really is.

I am thankful for that person who brings so much light, and joy and love into my life.

I am thankful for that person who lets me know that I will always have a place to be, who shows me that I really do belong.

I am thankful for that person who has shown me what true love really is. Who has taken me into her heart, and has proven I have a heart to take her into.

Without her I would have spent this thankgiving very alone. Without her, I think my entire life would feel very empty, and the world wouldnt be half as amazing as it is...because she is the world to me.

Well I just found some time to slip away from our gathering to check the kitten, and I didn't think I could move after the feast I ate today .

As for what I am thankful for my list would include a special girl who has brought joy to my life these last 3 months, my grandmother, who just two months ago our family thought wouldn't even be alive this Thanksgiving (ie happily she has recovered from her severe blood loss/partial stroke), my friends who keep me laughing, and who are there to listen to me when I need to vent my problems, a mother who happens to be one of my best friends, and my two "children" (aka my cats Mercedes and Precious)!

Plain and simple I am thankful for my family especially my brother for being there for me when no one else was.
This community (The Kitten Board) means just as much to me. It opened my eyes to a world I didnt even know existed full of strangers who act more like family and friends to each other, and that alone means more to me than youll ever know.
Those amazing writers over at The Pens have been so incredible in taking the time to write great stuff. Tommos Final Exam has the honor of being the first W/T Fic I ever read. The first Fic I ever read at all. And boy did it leave an impression. To this day I cant walk into a library without crackin a big cheesy smile.
So thank you to all the writers here and all the kittens in general for being so kind and understanding, especially when I needed it the most. I will never forget it.

Having one of my reviews quoted on web sites for the author and the publisher.

I don't know if this is a thankful, but it's certainly a proud-of: I did an interview with jazz producer Joel Dorn last week that I think came out really well.

The Lord of the Rings special edition DVD. It's awesome. BTW, the MTV sketch with SMG is on it as an "easter egg".

Curling up with a good book. Any good book.

I'm thankful that.... Australia *doesn't* celebrate Thanksgiving...One huge family gathering, with MY family, a year is quiet enough!

Uhh actually I'm thankful for having passed this years classes without having to stress too much this year and for finally having figured out my subjects for the next year and that I'm actually happy with them.

I'm thankful for my and my family/friends health - no matter what's been wrong with everyone this year, they still seem to have come out alright.

I'm thankful for my dogs Just 'cause they're so damn adorable.

I'm thankful for having a summer job, heh, sounds selfish but not having to interview for it and having a shot at saving actual money that's just *mine* - is pure brilliance.
