Happy Friday! Well, more or less... Actually, my server is running so slow tonight that it might very well be Friday by the time this posts.

I'm very happy with the latest gizmo that I just got for my computer - a "marble mouse." I think it's going to be a big help for me ergonomically, because you click the pointer with your thumb instead of your index finger. Plus it looks cool. See for yourself!

While I was shooting these pictures, my cat Ikegami (the one without the kidney ailment) hopped up to see what I was doing, and I shot this pic - A kitten with The Kitten. You can click on the small pic to see a bigger one.

Okay, she's 14 years old - not exactly a kitten. She still acts like one, though.

So what do you think Willow is like when she gets something new for her computer? What do you think Tara does to get through it?

We got new speakers for our computer the other day and my son kept jumping up and down going "new speaklers! new speaklers!", he has been adding "L"s to every word cause he likes the sound of it. My wife commented on his excitement on a new computer toy and said he was as bad as I was.

Ok on to other news!

WE SAW THE BABY LAST NIGHT!

We are going to have a boy! We are very excited. The doctor is very pleased and says he is right on course, maybe even a week-week-and-a-half larger than normal (my wife is at 20 weeks now).

We compared the ultra sound pictures to ones we had of Liam from the same time and you can tell. The baby is only 6 inches long right now, but moving and kicking like crazy.

Everything looks good, baby and mom. Though the doctor wants to watch her like a hawk for the next 20 weeks.

Liam was in the room with us when we did the ultra sound, he kept asking to see the baby. When we got home we showed him pictures of his ultra sound and when he was a newborn. He liked seeing the pictures and kept calling the preemie ones of himself "that silly baby".

Now we have to pick out boy names and have a girl one ready "just in case". Hey ultra-sound people can be wrong once in a while.

The last computer add on i got for my computer was a couple of months back. A beautiful black and silver scanner! I was gushing all over it for days! Without it... you'll probably see less wallpapers or even drawings from me cos i scan stuff in for textures!

I think if Willow gets something new for her comp... she'd probably be like my dad... tinkering away at it throughout the day... till Tara steps in... and y'know... lovingly pry her away... a little sulk and pout and Willow's taken in by Tara... no longer distracted by her new toy till the next day

It's a dreary day in San Diego, too. Rained last night, which is supposed to continue throughout the course of my three day weekend. That's what I get, though, wishing for rain all this past month. Oh, well. At least it's snuggle up under a blanket with a lovely book about sassy lady pirates while sipping hot cocoa weather.

The last things I bought for my computer were a new floppy drive and a microphone, the latter of which I still can't seem to get to work. Alas. No loudmouthing in kitty chat for me.

the last upgrade i got for my computer was a cd burner and some new speakers. now i am able to annoy my neighbors and ruin my hearing when i listen to my mp3's.
