I just realized Amber''s film,"Prime Gig" is being shown today,Thursday,June 13 on IFC (Independent Film Channel) at 8pm EST.It will be repeated on Monday, June 17 at 8:30pm, and twice on Tuesday,June 18 at 1:45 am and 6am.

Um, well I love IFC, its a great station... I just discovered this really cool they have called Dinner For Five. If you love movies at all it's a very cool show where 5 industry folks just talk shop over dinner.

As for the Prime Gig, well I have the DVD so, no satellite hopping for me.

I live in country bumpkin land and don't have cable at all. I [i:fdb84fb6f3] do[/i:fdb84fb6f3] have DirecTV though, and IFC is part of the standard (non-premium) package. If you don't like your cable system, you might check it out. It costs about the same as the cable system that stops 1/4 mile from my apartment. (However, if you're going to continue to watch BTVS, you'll need to be able to get it via antenna, because UPN is not part of DirecTV's programming).

Hi,relativegirl. I wasn't knocking cow tipping at at all. And I really did have a conversation about cow tipping recently (at about 4am), and yes,they do have cows in Alabama.At least they did when I moved from there.
Gotta love those small towns,small states (but not necessarily the small minds that can reside there),small cows,zzzzzzzzz...I gotta get to bed soon!

She is only in a few very brief scenes, in group shots. Basically in a room full folks / salespeople on the phone, she is one of the sales people.

I really wanted to like [i:3eb0b6d13c] The Prime Gig[/i:3eb0b6d13c]. But I just couldn't do it. Even three seconds of Amber isn't enough to make this film worth watching, IMO. Then again, don't trust me for movie advice. I don't like anything.

I have to agree with you maudmac. Other than Amber, I hated 'The Prime Gig'. Since it's on TV and pretty much free, then I reccommend it only because Amber is in it (although very briefly). If you want to see a good telemarketing/cold calling film, then give 'Boiler Room' a look-see.

Ooooh. Prime Gig. Amber wears reeeeally cute clothes in that flick, and gets to say lines you would never ever in a billion years get to hear her spout off as Tara. It's great fun. Which makes it all the more a pity that the movie itself isn't that great. Heh.

Well, I haven't seen Prime Gig (did see Boiler Room on the plane, my way home from a holiday in Peru once) -> that's living in Europe for ya, but it's good to read the titles of the movies Amber's in. If they ever dare to appear in my tv magazine, I'll make sure to spot them. So thank you !
