Amber in werewolf movie

I was checking IMBD as I often do to see if any of my favorites have anything new in the works...and it says Amber is in a film called Shifter which is currently in production and is "a new take on the werewolf mythos" or something along those lines

Shifter is based upon a comic developed by the actor Michael Madsen, and which already has issues published. Amber is in line to play a character named Kimi, if the project gets off the ground. Info on this has been up at Essence for a few weeks now, and you can find a cover of the comic there as well.
