Pavlov, the books are awesome, personally I love the first one but they are all fantastic reads especially if you want something in the area of fantasy but a little different.

Can someone help me please, I'm trying to find out about a book by Amber entitled 'Cal and the Silent Lake Monster'. She put an extract from chapter one up on her blogpost about late 2011-early 2012 but I've not heard anything since only that at the time of the blog she said it was going to be a YA novel. If no one knows anything then could someone going to see her promote her new Calliope book perhaps ask please.

Seconded! It's my favourite Amber book. I was so excited when it came out in paperback 'cause I was lugging the hardback around everywhere to re-read.

I haven't read it yet, mostly because I can't pry it out of my daughters hands...she LOVES it! She wasn't a very big reader until she read it and then met Amber. Now, that's pretty much all she does.

I love this book as well, it's a great story in its own right and proves that Amber is more than just a one trick pony with the CRJ novels.
