First convention appearance pf Alyson Hannigan in..ever?

Phoenix Comicon will host Alyson Hannigan and Alexis Denisof in a rare appearance together in what is likely the only US pop-culture and comic book convention appearance for 2015. The seasoned actress is probably best known to sci-fi fans for her portrayal of Willow Rosenberg on Joss Whedon’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the spinoff series Angel. She has also made guest and voice appearances on television shows including Veronica Mars, That ‘70s Show, The Simpsons, and American Dad!, and starred as Lily Aldrin on the CBS hit sitcom How I Met Your Mother. As a film actress, Alyson took on the role of the amorous Michelle Flaherty in the American Pie series.

I am happy to say that I made it to the Phoenix con and met her, along with Heather (vampyregurl73) and Shelby (Finey_McFine). She was just as wonderful in person as we expected. She was super sweet and commented on how she liked our Buffy shirts. We went back later for her Q&A with Alexis, which was great.

Dr. L, it really was an awesome experience. Unfortunately, due to the large crowd everything was a little rushed so we didn't get to spend much time with her, which I understand. We all got autographed pictures, but they didn't let us take photos with her at the table. We all had matching Buffy shirts on and she did laugh and say how much she loved them. She had her hair short again, picture S4 Willow, and still just as cute. She really is sweet and seemed a little nervous and overwhelmed by the amount of people there for her, and was more like Willow in the early years. I loved that about her. So I've been lucky enough to have met Amber about 10 years ago, and now Alyson. I am one happy kitten!

Did she talk or take questions before hand?

No time for questions during the signings, just at the Q&A, but you had to get there very early to get in line for that. We got there about 30 minutes before it was due to start and barely found seats. It was a large room and was packed. It was pretty cool how there is a whole new generation of younger people just now discovering BtVS and she did get a standing ovation at one point.

If I would've been able to ask her one question, it would have been her opinion on when she thought Willow and Tara first really got together. There are so many different opinions out there, and I would love to know what she had to say about that.
