Amber Pics Thread

My only concern is Amber taking care of herself and not working too hard. I mean, it seems that nothing's going to stop her from busting her rear to get things done, but...



One of the things I love most about her is the way she champions the "hey, a girl's gotta eat!" philosophy. She once said that every guy she's been with prefers a girl with a little something to hold on to, and I believe she's right. (And for the record: lucky guys!)



She's been a great role model for young girls who are constantly being bombarded with impossibly unrealistic images and ad campaigns telling them they've already eaten their allotted food for this lifetime.



Dang...I feel like I need to break out my AmberBensonPomPoms and bust a cheer! Ok, I was soooo not a cheerleader back in the day. Scratch the pompoms. I'll just sit back, think happy, airy thoughts, and look pensive until someone notices and is duly impressed.

Amber Benson seems to have a very lovely level head on her shoulders and I do not think we need to worry about her. I am sure she can and will take good care of herself. So let's not speculate about this, it is irrelevant anyway, she is no more or less gorgeous or a nice human being if she weighs a few pounds more or less. If it were measured by the pound, I'd really be a *very* nice guy and I promise you I'm not.

This is just my view of all things in support of Amber.

To me (like many others) Amber was perfect when she first appeared on the show and is perfect now.

I only worry that all the early-buffy backlash regarding her size as compared to the rest of the female cast might have given her the notion that this is what everyone wants.

I know she has more than enough upstairs to ignore much of the gossip and general badness said about her.

I (like many others) have a profound interest in her life and career,so it is possible I may worry too much about her

I say this not as it is my business nor right to inquire,and most of all not to upset anyone.

Only that I have seen this topic many times and it is becoming clear even to an outside observer that she is considerably thinner than she once was. Which is perfectly fine as long as she is also healthy,happy & as stress free as she could possibly be considering all her many projects.

So as long as she is healthy,I will abide.

I have seen Amber on at least two occasions, once in London in june 2001 (between s5 and 6) and last june in NY. When I first saw her I was surprised at how petite she looked compared to how she looks on screen, but then I saw her almost literally bouncing off the walls which explains a lot. She is very active for sure, I guess that may be why she sits cross legged all the time, so it isn't as easy to bolt out of the chair. She did not look any different to me last june than she did two years ago and this time she had driven across country, hardly slept and was suffering from food poisoning. Given everything she said, I'll trust she would not make an effort to look thin to please her audience or critics. However, I must admit to worrying/wondering that she may work too hard at times, working too hard is such an alien concept to me, it can't be good.



Anyway, lovely pictures, thanks orion. I had not seen the one where Amber is standing in front of that church-ish background, and another hideous hat one.

Yes, that is the photo that came with the "free DVD or VHS" of Chance.

I reported that seller to eBay early yesterday morning for what I considered copyright infringement for advertising the "Chance Movie trailer (AB)" on the "free VCD." I even quoted the copyright info from Benson Entertainment on my DVD to eBay customer service, but this far, I've only received a generic "we'll check it out" kind of message.

People illegally trying to rip off Amber and innocent fans, as well as convention "organizers" advertising Amber prematurely/illegally should be taken to task.

Just my two cents.

Amber does have these beautiful, intense eyes that seem to burn into the very core of your soul. If I ever get the chance to meet her, I would probably ask her what she thinks about when she gets that far away look in her eyes.



And of course she looks amazing in this picture. Very worthy.
