I think the problem was the pic was small to begin with. But if you tell me what it is for and if I have time, I can try to scan a bigger one, I doubt it will come out better though.

I agree with what you say about these pictures reminding one of one's own personal Amber moment in the sun.

Her hair is, as you noted, long, almost waist-length in a few of those photos.

Such lustrous beauty even Rapunzel would envy Amber's golden-brown tresses.

Almost makes me wish that I was European as Amber is taking the continent by storm and people are following her around like she's a Grateful Dead tour.

Spread the gift of Amber cheer this holiday season, that's my motto.

There are pretty good scans of a large article about Amber/Tara in the Buffy Yearbook with a lot of pictures (all known very well). Haven't read the article by now, but have fun. You find the scans as usual at Slayerverse.
