I skimmed this thread and didn't see anyone else post this. Inkworks just updated their page to add Amber Benson appearing at the Inkworks booth (Booth #1729) at San Diego Comic Con Saturday August 3, 2002 . Date of the addition at their site is July 27 so maybe I caught it first. Here's a link the the Inkworks page with the info.

Someone PLEASE ask Amber is she will get any money from the sales of the OMWF cd. If Amber is not getting any of that money, then for goddess sake...do NOT but the damned thing. Joss Whedon, Tara's MURDERER will get paid as the writer. He will get royalties, and I will be damned if I will line his pockets with 30 more pieces of silver!

PS if I had a CD burner, I'd make copies by the 100s and give them away to avoid having Whedon getting any more money from Tara and Willow fans. Did I mention? He's a rat bastard. (And I mean no offense to rats... or bastards.)

Get it off of Ebay or a second hand CD store. Don't support them with your money!!!!

We're adults capable of making our own choices in this matter. In fact you keep changing your position on this. Not too long ago you were saying to buy W&T related stuff. I will make my own informed decisions and NOT be ashamed by them.



And no one knows at this point if the actors get money or not. My guess is they do since deals needed to be worked out with their people. Don't insult people here just because not everyone shares your philosophy.

Ummm, WebWarlock, please forgive my naivite, but have there been folks on the board who have said they'd buy anything from ME? I'm in Atlanta and would give anything to be able to see Amber,but don't have any particular intention on buying anything that would involve ME.

But it still seems a bit odd and frustrating to me that people are so willing to support this guy.



The stuff I suggested people get was based on A.) merchandise that has a strong Willow/Tara centric theme (which OMWF would apply). B.) Producers that publicly have supported W/T OR have condemned that actions of Season Sux. and C.) The money that goes to ME/Fox is negligible OR the money has been paid to them up front. Where needed I asked for the market reports and details of their licensing deal with Fox.



In this economy the dollar makes the difference. If you want to make a difference you have the weapon you need. You just need to choose to use it.

Who is saying that? I have not seen one person saying that. I've seen a discussion about royalties and that the CDs for OMWF will be available. And in this thread a talk about a convention and ways to skewer Joss with questions. Hardly supportive.

How cool that Amber is indeed going to appear!



Amber signed an Inkworks Willow and Tara card for me in Toronto. She actually showed it to her dad who was sitting next to her. She flipped it over for him and showed him the picures of her and Alyson on both sides. "He never gets to see this stuff, so I have to show him," she said. Of course, I'm standing there speechless like an idiot and she starts to sign it for me and she asks, "Should I sign it to Amy?" and I'm like, "Oh, yeah, whatever." She then laughed at me and said, "Oh, yeah, whatever. Sure, I'll just make up a name or something then." I'm just an idiot. Sigh. She signed the correct name, because, ya know, she's NOT an idiot. Unlike me.



Anyway, I love my Amber signed Inkworks card. It's my favorite little souvenir from Toronto.



I'm happy for all the Kitties that get to meet her!

I got a season 5 card signed by her in Santa Barbara, hoping they might have some Amber promos from the new Revolution series or the Season 6 series.



I also have to wonder, because she told in SB that she had been invited by Dark Horse. So wonder if she might not appear at their booth as well. DH has still yet to announce their booth schedule.

Well Janice, 20 bucks and the promise of a three day weekend the following week might do it Ill have to work on it this week..Luckily i have friends in SD and my bro so a ride and a place to stay isnt a problem...



The only cost would be a plane ticket and the 20 bucks The question would be do ya have to have a ticket to get in to see Amber and then procuring one..Hmmm that could be a problem...

Janice, The only problem i might run into is, getting out of work and a flight that leaves when i need to Ya gotta hate having to do that advance notice thingy...And of course there is the answer to my latter question regarding if one needs a ticket to get into the thing to see Amber..Ah well if it isnt in the cards, maybe some other time..We shall see how it plays out...

Wow the kittens going to the convention are so lucky, I am so jealous (why can't Amber come to NJ )! I hope everyone has a fun time, and I can't wait to hear (and hopefully see some pics) of the time spent with Amber (as well as time spent with the kittens). And I agree I would pick seeing Amber or Joss any day (although, I have to admit I wouldn't mind hearing him try to weasel out of answering questions, such as his lies at the Q&A).

Amber's gonna really think I'm a stalker First Santa Barabara, than her play in Hollywood But I'm only supporting her because I care. And this time I need to get an autograph for my buddy as well, because he lives in Australia and will probably never get to see her. Poor thing.
