Faderwriter, it was great to meet the both of you and hear stories about your amazing adventures. You guys made it almost able to ignore the quality of the food at the E Coli Café. I see that you’ve fallen under Amber’s spell and have now joined the ranks of the smitten kittens. If you ever do see Amber again, she’ll probably remember you as the “anniversary women” and address you as such. I’m glad that you were able to take some positive memories of this experience home with you.

I'm still playing catching up with my life (hey, at least I'm all caught up with AMC! A girl has to have priorities, you know), but I'll probably have the pics uploaded this weekend. Let's hope they look good.



I posted at the vent thread first because I just had to do something to avoid combustion, but now let's remember all the good things about that weekend... well, Amber is *always* the best. No matter how bad the event, the place, the weather, she just makes you forget everything. It's like everybody (and Willow) says, you think you cannot be more amazed by her and then... "she completely resets the whole scale."



I always liked ASH, now I like him even more. He's so funny! Seeing Amber and him trying to sing together was something to remember for a very long time.



The other thing that saved the weekend was meeting so many kittens! My wonderful friends Eek and Ellie (we always have a blast, don't we?), and Xita, Garfield, Dr Lloyd and family, Eccentrictulip (we loved P-town!), and many others who will have to forgive me for not remembering their names (I have a really bad memory for names...).



Too bad that we missed the "meetings" in 619... but with all the driving, we're really tired. I'm sure we'll be able to make up for it next time.





Edited to add: One last thing, thanks to Amber and ASH, I will never look at a sign language interpreter the same way again...

Well apparently Amber fans come in flavours so why not Amber herself.

Wonderful pics Sheila, it's funny to see how much Amber moves around in her chair. I guess that is why she folds her legs like that, to prevent herself from bouncing from the chair, hee, and she does like to talk with her arms and hands a lot, no wonder she seemed to like the signing lady so much.
