Lovely article Sally, well written, good quotes and really nice pics as well, kudos to your friend. Ah and what a job you had, you poor thing. A nice weekend of movies watching and partying and they made you work. Bastards.

"Chance" is exactly the sort of movie that should be shown at the major European film festivals, e.g. Cannes, Berlin, ... so Europeans, keep your eyes open!

i really don't know where this fits, but i am now a walking billboard for Chance because i tattooed 'CHANCE" to my arm today. so anytime someone askes what's chance for, i can answer it's Amber Benson's film.

Well the Edinburgh Film Festival is over for this year but it a great place for Amber to show 'Chance'.

I'm not sure if they go under invitation for the festival officials or what, maybe an e-mail or two to them might bring the movie to their attention tho ;)

I think the London Film Festival is on at the moment but these are good Fests to contact.

I'd force myself to go to Edinburgh if I knew Amber/'Chance' was going to be there. (Edinburgh = eurghhhh!) ;)

Okay the best I can do is send you to my brief case because i can't host images.

Click the link below for pics of the t-shirts:

briefcase.yahoo.com/lost_soul_832

BTW, they said they are setting up a paypal account this week, so shirts should be available sometime after that.

Edited to add more info:

This is some of the info they emailed me.

$20.00 per shirt plus 4.95 for postage (that will cover the weight of up to 2 shirts) each additional shirt over 2, please add $2.00 for delivery in the continental U.S.

For the european orders, I checked with the post office and 2 shirts could be shipped for around $9.50...The Fed Ex Cost to England was $39.00...so in order to save money, it will be more cost effective to use the regular U.S. Postal Service... Email your home address and let me know how many shirts you want to order and I can find out how much your shipping charges will be for foreign orders...American Express Travelers Cheques in U.S. Dollars or an international money order in U.S. Dollars will be fine also...

Hey! No insulting of my home town! :p

I'd love Chance to be shown at the Edinburgh Film Festival since I live here...so no travelling far for me! :grin Of course, as you say, it's finished for this year, meaning we'd all have to wait till the 2003 festival for it to be shown, so perhaps not.

I'd probably go to London if it was there.

My best friend and I have been waiting and waiting for it, but we haven't seen much about it. Has it been released yet and we somehow missed it? When we get to see Amber? :love :tara :drool

Just thought I'd add a bump for this as I just received e-mail from Little Wllow, who wrote:

Good evening, everyone!

Here is some excellent news for British Benson buffs.

CHANCE will have its first UK screening later this month. The BBC

BtVS site is holding a contest that will grant 50 folks pairs of

tickets to the special screening. If you are a UK citizen over the

age of 15, follow this link to take a quiz about Amber and her

character Tara:

www.bbc.co.uk/cult/buffy/...mber.shtml

The winners will be drawn from a hat on December 12th. The screening

will be on December 15th, followed by a question and answer period

with Amber herself!

Check the BBC BtVS site for more details, for the rules and for the

lovely quiz. Good luck!

I can't enter, since I'm not in the UK, but I took the quiz for the hell of it. The code word you have to send them is Albion.

Good luck! :)
