Gatito Grande, couldn't have said it better myself. I loved that part. lol

I Love How I Met Your Mother and I don't get why anyone else doesn't. Its an adorable little show! I also don't understand peoples arguments that "Aly deserves better"and so on and so on.. Alyson is Happy!!! a lot happier then shes been in awhile. She loves the cast and she loves the schedule.. it gives her time to be human again and spend much needed time with her family... for Alysons sake I certainly hope HIMYM is NOT canceled!

Hmm the last post about this show that held even a little criticism was made on October 13 and I am not really seeing the and so on and so on, but now you have made me curious about Aly´s feelings and her schedule. Did she say something in an interview? I may no longer be watching the show, but I love hearing what Aly has to say about her life and work. :)
I admit people´s enthusiam for this show over the last few months has made me tempted to watch it again as I don´t know what Aly goodness I am missing.

New Buffy/Angel mag has an interview with her in which she cites the ability to live a normal life as one of the real benefits to the show- it is not a bad interview though not an especially interesting one= but she does seem content with the work she is doing.

I've read several interviews where Aly has said how happy she is working on HIMYM and DRG I was not necessarily talking about this thread only when I was making those comments, I was just talking in general :)

WillowRTaraM1 - I love the show and think it's very funny - it's one of the ones that I Tivo each week and usually end up watching pretty much when it's on because it's very funny and sweet. Marshall is actually my favorite character, he just cracks me up.

I'm not sure if that was there mother or not. It all seems too perfect and with Ted's history, probably not. Okay, enough of me being analytical. If it is, then that is very sweet. I felt bad for Robin. Kinda reminded me of Tara in NMR with the "do what makes you happy" thing. *sniff, sniff* I love watching this show. It's the only comedy that I watch.

One of the best episodes, 2nd only to the Thanksgiving episode in my opinion. As usual Aly had the best line in regards to the bouquet:

Ted: You're not gonna do it at your wedding?
Lily: Hell yeah! I'm gonna take that flower grenade and chuck it into the crowd and scream "Crawl for it, bitches!". It's just what girls do.

Yeah, I have to admit: like Robin, I am coming to "care for Ted" (Strictly platonic! Strictly platonic! :lol ) . . . as I already do for the other characters (except Barney, of course. Well, I care that he does make me laugh. And that I am---GG the Daaaawg!---tempted to try out some of his scoring techniques! :eyebrow)

In some ways, Robin still does seem like Ted's perfect match . . . but I really like Victoria, also (hope she goes by "Torie": love that nick!)

GG Just wish that this show was in the same hour as "Out of Practice" (and when is that coming back? :happy): that would really make a solid hour of Monday night joy.... Out

'allo, 'allo?

Am I just about the only one at the Kitten watching what is becoming a really great ensemble comedy??? (w/ Our Aly no less???)

Things I love about last night's ep:

*That they dispensed w/ the "Listen, kids..." gimmick (we knew this needed to go)

*3 Separate story lines (more or less), w/

*Ted's actually being the least important: his and Victoria's "Big Night" mainly functioning as "material" for...

*Lilly and Marshall to mock, hysterically :rofl

*How much FUN, surprisingly, Barney and Robin were together (as "bros"! :lol ). And in the course of this outting {ahem!} . . .

*The Cat is Out-of-the-Bag. It's official: HIMYM's "TPTB" have acknowledged, through Barney, what many of us have observed: that Robin seems like she could be gay (and that her "I like guys" and even "I like Ted" is still less than totally convincing in a sexual way? OK, that could be GG's editorial! :eyebrow )

*Lilly and Marshall, again: I can't remember the last time I saw a m/f relationship portrayed as well as theirs: their worrying about "no more firsts" and what will happen when they cross the Great Taboo of peeing in front of each other! :-D

GG Seriously, folks: if you're not watching this show, you're really missing something Out

I love this show, it's one of my favorite ones! We tune in every Monday and laugh like loons. I loved the Marshall and Lilly storyline in the bathroom. And the "freeze-frame high five" that Robin and Barney did was GREAT. I get so many new social gimmicks out of this show. :) I also think it's potentially possible that Robin could end up taking a walk on the gay lesbian-type wild side, but then again one never knows.

No, though its hardly my fault that I always seem to be out when its on. (I taped yesterdays ep, but have yet to watch it.)

And does anyone know when its coming to DVD? I made the mistake of not taping it from the start, and am now in the midst of kicking myself because of it.

Robin's breaking down automatically and don't know what to do with her feelings was realistic. Sometimes we just don't know what we really feel for a person.

It's being reported that How I Met Your Mother has officially been renewed for a second season. The show doesn't make it for me, but I'm pleased to see Hannigan have a success.

As one, they turn to the soda machine. It flies back into the door like a cannonball. Willow looks at it, at Tara. She doesn't let go of her hand.

While I'm (very) happy to have this show renewed, what's become of hiatus-ville Out of Practice, I wonder? (Do I want to know?)

Another very funny episode (3/6)---w/ one caveat: not loving Robin's Jealous Bitch routine. Must we endure this cliche' of the Catty, Knife-in-the-Back Straight Girl? :happy

GG Is it just me, or does anyone else have any problems concentrating on Victoria's . . . face? (if ya know what I mean? :eyebrow) Out

Any bridal shop which provides boucoup champagne, and free wedding cake samples, should EXPECT to have wedding dresses covered in cake (not to mention champagne): that's what insurance is FOR! (i.e. Lily, you don't owe those snots one red cent! :miff)

ETA: I know we've all seen Aly in a wedding dress before (a certain flick called American Wedding comes to mind), and had the "it's Willow dressed to marry Tara" fantasy. Nevertheless, I freely admit (much as I like "Marshall&Lily" together), that tonight I had this fantasy again! :-D

Congratulations for Aly and the cast. They got a second season. Good sign. I really like this show. Especially Lilly. But I think the best lines are Barneys. It's a bit sad that Lilly is not much more than Marshalls girlfriend. She needs a bit of an own life. But let's have a look what the next episodes and season 2 will have in store for us.

Victoria is boring. So I hope I heard wrong when Ted announced to his children in the wedding episode that she in fact is the mother. I think in the end Barney and Robin will end up together.

Last I read it was suppose to come on at about 7:30 Sunday in either Feb. or March, so we will see! Mind you, they also said they would put the L Word back on in the second half of last year and still nothing, so who knows with them! If you hear anything new, keep as posted please!
