I want to go but don't know how I'd get up there. Any San Diego area kittens wanna go and I'll pay for gas, or we could take the train, or something? I would love to go! I missed Amber when she was here for Ghosts of Albion and I've been regretting it ever since.
As one, they turn to the soda machine. It flies back into the door like a cannonball. Willow looks at it, at Tara. She doesn't let go of her hand.

Preview for Lovers, Liars, and Lunatics. There's a very funny scene with ski masks... that's all I'm saying. Site also has other Amber previews & such.

Oh, if this has been listed someone let me know & I'll delete this post.

Cheers.

Hello, fellow San Diego kitten! If I can get a couple days off work I will be taking the train to Burbank-ish where a Los Angeles kitten friend will be picking me up and driving my ass to Pasadena. We should speak about this. I'd love me some train company. And so sad that you missed Amber when she was here for GoA! That was a blast. You shouldn't miss her this time around, if you can help it.

Full marks to Amber. Using her postion to try and do some good and bring attention to a worthwhile project. Full marks indeed.

I just wonder if she would be open to other similar events in Europe?

Well, I hate to be evil, but the fact no one else can seem to afford to go to the screening makes me feel better about being not only poor but geographically unfortunate in this instance...and while we're on the subject...Hey Amber! How about you do a con in New England some time?

Based on the trailer this is going to be yet another hilarious, smart, twisted film from the brain of our favorite indie film goddess/auteur...I watched the clip the same day that the Independent Spirit Awards were on...and somehow as I was watching the show, I couldn't help imagining the lovely Ms. Benson up there accepting one of the winged things...it was almost like a flash of something that will happen rather than a daydream...maybe next year they will be calling out Lovers, Liars & Lunatics as the winner of Best First Feature? Lets all send some good vibes out on that one! (I don't think Chance would count because it didn't do all that much in the way of the festival circuit and playing on the big screens) Of course I'll have to sit patiently and wait until this one is out on DVD before I get to see it too...living in a small town in a state with no real large cities sucks!

Okay, so I've been trying to figure it out, because it doesn't say anywhere that I can find, but does anyone know if it's an all-ages thing or if there's an age restriction? I ask because of the alcohol.

***SPOILER***

'That was brilliant but I only have one problem with it. You were shot...again!'

It was however very funny especially with Christine saying 'It's my fault, we don't have big speakers' or something along those lines... its been 10 months since I saw it so sorry if I quoted that wrong.

I don't think there are any spoiler sections. I think the authors just left a lot of room between the announcement of the upcoming spoilers and the spoilers themselves.

I liked it. A lot. I was pretty exhausted/delirious, so that may have made it seem much funnier to me than it was, as when I am that tired I find everything hilarious, but I don't think that's the case. I think it was actually genuinely funny. And in the way I like, too! I love the whole screwball 'no one would ever really do that' aspect.
I have some thoughts about how her character died. She was shot, in a rather similar way to how Tara died, and while I'm not bothered by that, I wonder if some people who are still very sensitive about that might be? I did laugh really hard when she shot herself in the foot and was on the floor crying "It huuuuuuuuuuuurts" though. Hee!

The end was funny, I thought. I wasn't sure it was over at first because of the lack of credits, but I love the "It's my fault, Officer, we don't have big speakers!" thing. Or whatever Elaine actually said. It made me giggle lots.
The younger brother (Gunner?) reminded me SO much of my brother when he was younger. Sneaking out with the alcohol to meet girls... ah, such a teenage boy.

So, it's not everyone's kind of humor, I don't think, but I for one had a CRAZY gigglefit of epic proportions once outside and on my way to the car. I may have appeared insane.

Well I loved it screwball comedy and all!
I was really shocked when amber was shot and I kept thinking she's going to wake up...she's going to wake up and then the camera kept panning to her and I was like 'Why is she really pale now?' 'NOOOOOOOOOOO she can't die!!! Not again!' I remember being really hyper during it but I think it was just due to me being excited and the combination of me and Sn0wflak3's comments... At one point the electricty was cut, someone fell through the wall of the little section we were having it, also there was the whole Amber was sitting five seats away from me for the whole of the film!
