Woo and Hoo, I got my Chance DVD yesterday. I've already watched it twice now. Amber is absolutely adorable, and I'm so glad they made it available this way.

Ok...when am I officially allowed to ?? I ordered my DVD back in the first week of August. Still, nothing greeted me at the mailbox today...other than a flyer boasting an offer for "The Hair Club for Men." Needless to say, I wasn't as excited as I could have been. I am happy that so many of you have received yours, though! So, for now I think I'll chill out and keep pretending I'm a patient woman. Yeah...that's a good plan.

I don't think it matters when you ordered it. They only started shipping the DVDs recently and somehow I don't think they are being shipped in order. I'm sure you'll get it soon enough, as long as the postal office does not mess up that is. I am glad to see they are arriving in the UK. Next stop: the Netherlands.

Wow, it's "I've Got a Golden Ticket" time all over again with the arrival in the mail of my "Chance" DVD.

Watching the film with a crowd of like-minded people at Moonlight Rising was brilliant as one's part of a shared experience discovering it for the first time.

Watching the movie on DVD in the privacy of one's own home with the headphones on to soak up every syllable of Amber's mellifluous voice transcends that experience.

As has been said many times, many ways, Amber is just heart-stoppingly, almost painfully, torturously, beautiful, sexy, radiant, witty, warm, kind, compassionate, and she smells nice too.

She is above the power of words to express her inner soul and essence.

She just makes a person feel good and calm inside that the universe is a less cold and scary place with her to keep us company.

Those dead bugs may not have died a natural death but I'll keep my door open any time Amber or Chance would deign to cross my threshold.

I received mine today too! I think I ordered it about an hour after the announcement was made.



It was amazing! For a first time director/writer/producer, it was phenomenal! And now I can go back and read the "Chance: Media, Discussion" thread. I'm not big on spoilers, so I've avoided that one. But no longer!!



And now I actually understand taralicious' post!



As for the length of the scene with Amber and Mrs. Brenden, I'd have to put it under two minutes. Well, there really were two scenes (sort of), and still, combined I'd say under two minutes. But what a fun < two minutes they were.

Nope, you're not blind and not wrong. I haven't posted much for quite a while- was taking a bit of a break from fandom, especially Buffy fandom. But I stopped by the Kitten about four weeks ago, saw the Chance news, and of course had to order it And once it arrived and I got to see it, I just had to rush to the Kitten to say, once more with feeling "Amber Rocks!!!" (But then I bet most of you knew that.)

When I ordered Chance I paid through paypal straight after sending the email.



I got confirmation of the order about a day after sending it.

Anyway, I just watched the aforementioned film again and...wow. Profoundly entertaining.

Did anyone put up a clip or is this just be a pre-emptive request on Amber's part? In any case, if people will not give into Amber's request I doubt anyone else would persuade them either. If Amber asks something, that should be enough, seeing as it is her movie.



In the meanwhile, I assume she won't mind if we continue to promote it for all it's worth.



Tracy, I hope you won't disappear again, there is more than enough opportunity to avoid a certain show on this board, it now being off topic and all. We just started a spiffy new forum for movie and tv show talk and there is always the Kitten for general silliness and LGBT stuff.
