Is anyone else having a problem with the navigation ad for Video from UGO? On the images where Amber is on the right (or when she is the only person), the ad covers her face (for shame, for shame).

Wonderful to finally see some still shots from the film. Any idea if the distribution deal has been worked out? Count me among the first in line to get a ticket and/or copy of the DVD.

Yeah Nathan, you dolt, haven't you the slightest clue how many of us would trade places with you in a heartbeat to have Amber say she was in love with us, even if only in a film role?
That will be some sweet-tasting wine to have been kissed by Amber's radiance as well as the sun's.
I am anxious to see the entire film now as who needs "Dancing with the Stars" when we have Dancing with Amber

Regent Showcase on La Brea.

The Friday night screening at 7:30 will include drink tickets to an afterparty.

That was a terrific interview at gaywired.com for both Amber and the interviewer as well.
The person asking the questions asked some pointed and direct ones trying to elicit responses based upon Amber's willingness to challenge herself and to choose scripts which she feels passionate about and which have a positive life-affirming messgae to tell about treating others with respect and compassion.

Went on the links about this movie and it looks really interesting. I hope that it will come to DVD soon in the U.K.

It's a good interview and I agree that Amber should continue to find roles that challenge her (which is pretty much the Indie movie circuit as corporate movies are too obsessed with big bucks rather than good scripts or characters).

But, having seen RYTTB (and I stand by my review on page 1 of this thread) I cannot see for the life of me how this film could possibly be seen as containing a "Life-affirming message". It is, at it's heart, a cold, callous and heartless film which at its centre seems to be stating that "relationships suck and people should never trust one another cos sooner or later you're gonna get your heart trampled on". I saw no life-affirming message in that and stil don't.

There is a brief review of the film in Friday's New York Times, and a small photo of Amber and Cole Williams drinking. Not a good review, but the reviewer (Jeannette Catsoulis) is kind to Amber. ("Ms. Benson is a lovely actress with a vulnerability that can be extremely touching, but she enjoyed more chemistry with Alyson Hannigan on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" than she does with Mr Williams. In this walking, talking, whining movie she is charged with teaching us that relationships are complicated.") A pretty good notice that, and I love the comment about her chemistry with Aly.

Well, it is certainly nice to see someone else point out that she had laser hot chemistry with AH. Chemistry like that is kinda rare. And she certainly nailed her description of Amber. Amber can do vulnerability like few others. All in all, despite the movie review, a great review for AB.

Even the bastions of big-name journalism bow down before Amber's winning ways.
The New York Times, next The Washington Post, and then, dare I even say it, The Wall Street Journal.
When movie critics and other journalists from more traditional arenas of journalism weigh in and say that Amber had genuine chemistry with Aly, and stress that Amber stands out in whatever role she is playing and draws the viewer in and attracts the attention, the viral message of Amber's greatness and versatility continues to spread.
Hooray for both her and us.

Find out who the production company for RYTTB is, look them up n the net , then e-mail or call them and ask about how you would go about getting a poster for the film, or anything else they might have for that matter. I did this about 10 years ago for WHEN NIGHT IS FALLING. Within about 6 months, I had the entire European collection of posters for the film. It also got me an autographed CHUTNEY POPCORN poster once. Give it a shot. Most people who work at these companies turn out to be nice and helpful.

Man, this used to be so easy when I was working in video retail, I'd get everything at cost and posters without even asking...sometimes even advanced screening copies...being disabled sucks
